Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: deokdam (DWG: $11,400) There is a real likelihood that the DWG v HLE series gets very messy and out of control. DWG Have struggled to have their trademark clean objective based wins so far and instead we have seen deokdam have to carry late game teamfights. The DWG ADC has the most kills among players on this slate with 47 (4 per game average) and another 42 assists (4 assists per game). The Gen.G series really hurt the trajectory of the DWG stats and I think we see a few bettors fading them and their prices for that reason. This is a steal of a price and deokdam will have to be the damage carry for DWG to win.

Value Pick: FATE (KDF: $10, 200

Top

Favorite: Kiin (KDF: $6,200) LCK’s weakest role in terms of production is top lane by far. We are saving a little bit of money here but going with the second highest producer in Kiin. He averages about 2 kills and 3 assists per game which isn’t staggering but he also carries the hightest team kill participation rate at 65%. Great place to spend less to spend more elsewhere.

Value Pick: Dudu (HLE: $5,800)

Jungle

Favorite: Canyon (DWG: $6,800) While some power has been moved from mid lane and support to the ADC role, jungle still remains super strong from 2021. At the top of this list is Canyon with his 3 kill and 7 assist average which beats all other jungle options we can choose from on Friday. He has the technical skill to outfinesse OnFleek but also has superb objective control which will give DWG the ability to 2-0 if they play well enough.

Value Pick: Umti (BRO: $6,600)

Mid

Favorite: ShowMaker (DWG: $7,400) I think the safest pick on the slate is ShowMaker in the mid lane. I didn’t put him as captain because his raw numbers aren’t as good as others (28 kills and 53 assists) but he just doesn’t lose lane. There will be no point in the series tomorrow where ShowMaker will not have the ability to influence the map or teamfights. This is really important because in certain game states, some players become irrelevant and you lose out on a lot of potential points that way.

Value Pick: Karis (HLE: $6,600)

ADC

Favorite: Teddy (KDF: $7,200) I can’t buy into the idea that Teddy is having some fall from grace in his career. The former top four finisher in the 2019 World Championships is one of the most mechanically sound players this game has seen at the position. On the longer range champions (Jinx and Caitlyn) Teddy can easily play teamfights and carry the damage output with proper protection. He will have his hands full with DWG on Friday but we have seen that DWG have had troubles playing the whole map correctly which could give KDF a window to get the teamfights they want.

Value Pick: SamD (HLE: $7,000)

Support

Favorite:  Delight (BRO: $5,600) I know that a drawback to picking Delight in this spot is that he will give up some serious deaths. That beiong said, he also has the second highest assist total (73) on the slate and is a great price. The KDF v BRO match feels like a coin flip series so I will take the risk with a player who stays active and aggressive because the points will follow.

Value Pick: Vsta (HLE: $5,200)

Team

Favorite: Damwon Gaming ($5,400) On paper, this is the strongest team. Questioning their current state is smart but Friday has the makings of a great bounceback series for DWG. KDF like to fight and I think DWG can use that over aggression to make smart plays for objectives.

Value Pick: Fredit Brion ($5,000)
