(-149) JD Gaming v Oh My God (+115)

(-285) EDward Gaming v Weibo Gaming (+205)

With a noteworthy first series win by Team WE on Monday, the LPL is rapidly approaching the end of Spring Split. Now in the fifth week of nine, 8th and 9th place teams in JD Gaming and Oh My God square off to try and maintain their standings to gain a birth into the Spring Playoffs. In the other matchup, EDward Gaming is attempting to stay flawless as they take on the surging Weibo Gaming. Electric matches across the board, let’s dive in and find the best players for your lineup! In this shortened slate I am going to give you three locks and two great value picks you should put into your lineup to take Tuesday!

Series #1: JD Gaming v Oh My God

Cann’s Pick:  Oh My God (2-1)

Series #2: EDward Gaming v Weibo Gaming

Cann’s Pick: EDward Gaming (2-1)

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Favorite: Viper (EDG: $11,700/$7,800) This pick has way more value in the captain role. Most times, a player who has a positional dollar amount of $7,800 is well over $12k as a captain. Viper is averaging 91 FPPG and EDG looks absolutely unstoppable. WBG have had a lot of close series but have had issues closing out series that they are in positions to win. Viper is averaging almost 6 kills per game and only one death in that same time period. Look for EDG to lean into their bottom lane for the damage and kill output.

Favorite: Creme (OMG: $10,800/$7,200) I have cited Yagao as a volatile part of the JDG lineup for nearly two years now. He has super high ceiling moments but also finds himself in times where he is the cause of a loss. Creme is pretty core to the OMG win condition. He has 81 kills (highest among LPL mid laners) and the 6th most assists among that same group (108). OMG has slowed down from their fast start, but have had more spirited losses than the losses by JDG. This series is very likely to go to three games so Creme should get his numbers throughout the series.

Favorite: Hope (JDG: $11,400/$7,600) Hope has found ways to always be active through his matches. This is why he has the highest average FPPG at 97.5 per game. In his limited time starting, he is averaging over 5 kills and over 7 assists per game. He is the safest player on JDG but your risk is whether or not they decide to run Hope for the entire series. With his current performances, I am not sure why they wouldn’t.

Value Pick: JieJie ($9,900/$6,600) I think there may not be a jungler who puts up the same points per game as JieJie does. He has an average of 84+ per game and has a team kill participation rate of almost 75%. Slotting him into a more aggressive lineup can ensure you still have a high point producer as your captain but save a ton of cash along the way.

Value Pick: Weibo Gaming ($4,400) I don’t think making a stack of Weibo Gaming guys is a terrible idea. They are 5-1 on the season and are averaging a decent 49.2 FPPG in that time. They have faced some serious competition along the way including BLG and V5. As the top teams continue to figure out who is the best, Weibo will need to continue to improve how they close out late game fights to ensure they stay near the top of the LPL.
