Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Danny (EG: $11,400) Danny is a rising star and he is trying to keep his momentum from the end of 2021. Danny and EG had gone through nearly the entire Lock In Tournament without dropping a single game. When EG ran into TL in the finals, draft seemed like the biggest gap and in a few of the games, Danny and Vulcan had a lot of agency around the map. Look for EG to focus on getting the young ADC ahead EARLY in this match.

Value Pick: Bwipo (TL: $9,900)

Top

Favorite: Summit (C9: $7,000) One of the splashiest imports in the offseason, Summit is the player to watch for Cloud9 when he makes his debut. Now it sounds like C9 will have all of their pieces present day one, which will make a massive impact against a young Golden Guardians squad looking to take on the Korean import.

Value Pick: FakeGod (DIG: $6,400)

Jungle

Favorite: Inspired (EG: $7,200) Outside of the finals series, Inspired looked significantly better than all other junglers in the tournament. We see that EG can try to get too cute with their drafting strategy but in best of one series (the format that the LCS follows in their regular season) EG should be able to keep it simple enough to let the map control of Inspired shine.

Value Pick: River (DIG: $6,800)

Mid

Favorite: Bjergsen (TL: $7,200) The goat has returned and he put on full display in the Lock In Finals why he is the best LCS player ever. He put the EG young blood (jojopyun) in an absolute box and in game three (the closest laning performance between the two players) jojopyun needed both his jungler and his support to come help put pressure on the vet mid laner. Abbadagge looked much slower in his transitions over the last few weeks and Bjerg should be able to pick up kill participation in side lanes because of it.

Value Pick: AblazeOlive (GG: $6,000)

ADC

Favorite: Zven (C9: $7,800) He is the most seasoned ADC on the list that I am sure will be playing. I prefer the Hans sama pick, he just plays with more urgency, but there is a chance that TL plays with Yeon instead. Because of this it is better to stick with the more sure bet. Zven averaged 40 FPPG through lock in which is agreeable and they are playing a very young team in Golden Guardians on Saturday. Veteran experience should be more than enough to put Zven on the top of the list in terms of production on Saturday.

Value Pick: Tactical (TSM: $6,200)

Support

Favorite: Vulcan (EG: $6,200) Since leaving C9 at the end of last year, we have all thought this EG pick up is a huge impact signing. Vulcan is the most aggressive of the NA supports and I would describe him as an NA version of Hylissang from FNC. He sets the tone for the team and he looks to make his own plays for hiam to follow up on. This new TSM roster will need to be really well coordinated to take on this bottom lane specifically.

Value Pick: CoreJJ/Elya (TL: $5,600/$5,400) **My current guess is that they will run Elya on Saturday**

Team

Favorite: Evil Geniuses ($5,600) Team Solomid is patching their team together and there are a lot of question marks surrounding possible language barriers as they imported two Chinese players, so their ability to speak Mandarin will make a huge difference. EG had such quality drafts and gameplans in the majority of their matches, don’t be scared off because of how their Lock In Tournament run ended. Look at the whole body of work

Value Pick: Counter Logic Gaming ($4,600)
