(-155) SK Gaming v Astralis (+120)

(-460) Rogue v Excel Esports (+320)

Team Vitality v Misfits

(+185) BDS Esport v G2 Esports (-240)

(+125) MAD Lions v Fnatic (-164)

Week 3 in the LEC gave fans some exhilarating games, including some massive upsets. Moving into week 4 there are some matches to watch out for. First, you have to tune in and watch the MAD Lions versus Fnatic match on Friday. Going into last weekend, Fnatic was being discussed as the best team in the LEC and they dropped two straight games. The MAD Lions are wildly exciting but also a volatile team to cheer for. Both teams love to fight and this could easily be a matchup we see in the Spring Split Playoffs. Look out for G2 and Rogue to be two teams that will be heavy favorites that have the ability to put up huge numbers on Friday.

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Comp (RGE: $12,000) A ton of questions swirled around Rogue when Hans sama made the move to the LCS and joined Team Liquid this offseason. When Rogue decided to bring in Comp, many began to jump off the bandwagon. Comp has proven a lot of doubters wrong and many are taking notice to this rookie. He has a 19.4 KDA in 7 games but he hasn’t done this by playing scared in game. He has 44 kills (6 kills per game) and 54 assists (13 assists per game) and has died less than once per game. Excel has tried to be relevant this split by bringing in Mikyx but they remain a step behind the big dogs of the LEC.

Value Pick: BrokenBlade (G2: $10,200)

Top

Favorite: Odoamne (RGE: $7,000) I don’t love the pricetag on this pick, especially with the limited kill production by Odo (19 kills, averaging about 2 per game). What draws me here is the matchup and the fact the Osoamne is playing Finn on Friday. This returning European top laner struggled on CLG and has limited impact on XL this split. XL ignores the top lane a lot in their approach to the game and this should give Odoamne a free lane to play aggressively and rotate into teamfights later without much pushback.

Value Pick: Whiteknight (AST: $5,800)

Jungle

Favorite: Jankos (G2: $7,000) I love Jankos and G2 for Friday because of their aggression into the lack of direction that Team BDS normally plays with. Jankos has a 70% team kill participation rate and the second most assists (58) among all LEC junglers. I fully expect Jankos to put priority on the side lanes (especially BrokenBlade in the top lane) and pick up a ton of points throughout this game.

Value Pick: Elyoya (MAD: $6,400)

Mid

Favorite: Larssen (RGE: $7,600) There may not be a mid laner in the LEC that is more consistent. Larssen is completely in his element with the current meta paired with his ability to play control mages. Larssen has an average of 1 death per game but 4 kills and 7.5 assists in the same time. He participates in a third of all of Rogue’s first blood kills and builds massive gold and XP leads in lane. Easy pick up for a great mid lane price.

Value Pick: Vetheo (MSF: $6,400)

ADC

Favorite: Flaked (G2: $7,800) This is a massive sticker for one player but we have seen that the ADC role has a lot of FPPG potential in 2022. Flaked has 31 kills (nearly 5 per game) and has nearly a 30 FPPG average. He is also playing into the BDS ADC xMatty who has to be one of the worst ADCs the LEC has seen in a while. To directly compare the two, xMatty is averaging 50% less FPPG (15.2) and has 8 more deaths in the same amount of games played. A really high ceiling here for G2 and the points they can pick up on Friday.

Value Pick: Unf0rgiven (MAD: $7,000)

Support

Favorite: Trymbi (RGE: $6,000) I really like the idea of doubling down on the Rogue bottom lane and the pricetag for Trymbi is surprisingly at my $6,000 price cut off. He has the highway support KDA (7.3) and has a great 71% team kill participation rate. Look for Comp and Trymbi to get active early by aggressively trading with the XL bot lane and having Malrang coming bot to snuff out the only win condition for XL.

Value Pick: Mrsa (MSF: $4,600)

Team

Favorite: Rogue ($5,600) I don’t think Rogue will be the top team at the end of Spring split, but I think they will hit their 8th win on Friday. Rogue has a team KD of 2.43 and XL has a KD rate of 0.89. Both teams are close in the early game (56.2 for XL and 69.0 for Rogue) but there is an ocean in the late game (-13.3 for XL and 31.0 for RGE). Malrang and Larssen will help control the objective fights and Odo should slowly gap Finn in the top lane. Rogue puts a high priority on fighting as a team over neutral objectives which should help snowball the game for Rogue.

Value Pick: Misfits ($4,200)
