Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Vetheo (MSF: $11,400) This has been the season for ADCs. They have the best balancing and items for their champions. We have seen this reflected in ADCs from across the globe being the carries and MVPs of their respective league. The exception? Vetheo. He has the second most kills in the LEC (59) and 76 assists. He has a 33% share of his team’s kills and has a 75% team kill participation rate. Misfits could make noise in the LEC playoffs and it would be off of the back of this potential MVP.

Value Pick: Kobbe (AST: $9,900)

Top

Favorite: Alphari (VIT: $7,000) He is the best laning top laner. If he plays the lane correctly into SK gaming, Vitality should run away with this game and Alphari should be able to put up good numbers. He has lower team kill participation numbers (53%) but it has been on the climb in the last few weeks. VIT have begun to realize that they cannot play through their bottom lane and have been investing more resources into Perkz and Alphari as a result.

Value Pick: BrokenBlade (G2: $5,600)

Jungle

Favorite: Shlatan (MSF: $6,800) Another piece to the Misfits puzzle has been the uptick in performance out of their jungler. Shlatan is not the player who is going to pop off and rack up massive amounts of kills. Instead we see him pick up his metrics in his participation while he limits his risks. He has a 3.8 KDA and 91 assists through 12 games played. Look for Jankos to have to work hard to prop up his bottom lane and middle lane which will allow Shaltan space to get aggressive around objectives and pick up kill participation.

Value Pick: Macaron (XL: $6,200)

Mid

Favorite: Larssen (RGE: $7,400) Larssen could have the potential for a big day on Friday. FNC’s mid laner (Humanoid) has some breakout moments but will almost immediately follow it up with a horrible performance. Humanoid thrives in matchups where he can exploit small mistakes in the laning phase and can snowball out of control. What is the biggest strength of Larssen? No early mistakes. I think Rogue handle FNC pretty easily and take it to them in the late game fights. I love how cheap this pick is for the potential upside here.

Value Pick: Nuclearint (BDS: $7,200)

ADC

Favorite: Comp (RGE: $7,800) The concern with this pick is the risk of spending so much money on a player who is playing into Upset and Hylissang. That being said, Comp and Trymbi are a duo I would feel comfortable grabbing into them. In one less game played than Upset, Comp has 15 more kills, and nearly 20 more assists. Now he is more death prone but you are willing to trade that for 75% team kill participation rate. Risk here with a potential of high reward.

Value Pick: Patrik (XL: $6,800)

Support

Favorite: Mersa (MSF: $5,400) With a bit of the fall from grace that Kobbe has had, I think a lot of people have been sleeping on the MSF bottom lane. Mersa has 115 assists and a 67% team kill participation rate. MSF are playing G2 who have struggled at times if they cannot get early leads on the opposing bottom laners. I would expect that Vetheo is going to demand resources from G2 which should open the door for the MSF bottom lane.

Value Pick: Hylissang (FNC: $4,600)

Team

Favorite: Team Vitality ($5,800) If Vitality cannot put it together against SK Gaming, there is a good chance they lose their 6th seed and they won’t see it again. VIT has entirely too much talent to continue to struggle this deep into the split. Desperation and talent may be all that this team needs to produce against the 8th ranked team in the LEC.

Value Pick: Fnatic ($4,200)
