(-205) T1 v Gen.G (+155)

(+475) Liiv SANBOX v Damwon Gaming (-800)

(-1400) EDward Gaming v Team WE (+750)

(-165) Weibo Gaming v FunPlus Phoenix (+125)

(-205) Royal Never Give Up v TOP Esports (+158)

We saw absolute insanity on Friday morning. We had teams slot their all start ADC into the support role and we had teams completely fall flat. Both the LPL and LCK showed us thrilling performances and we have yet another full five team slate ahead of us on Saturday morning. The rematch of T1 and Gen.G is the most thrilling match to watch and will give fans the most exciting matchup of the day. We will see a lot of DFS players trying to work in heavy favorites from EDG and DWG into their lineups but I don’t think you need to break the bank on Saturday. Diversifying your picks across the different matches should prove to be just as effective and ensure you get quality up and down the card. It is a wild race to the finish and we have you covered here at DFS Alarm! Let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Viper (EDG: $12,000) Viper has the third best KDA in the entirety of the LPL (10.6) and is averaging just a touch more than 1 death per game. A lot of teams can find themselves regressing after a World Championship, but EDG looks to have gained an extra gear. Viper has 51 kills in 9 games, a nearly 6 kill per game average, and has dominated almost every bottom lane matchup. There is a massive gap between Viper and Meiko versus Stay and Kedaya which should lend itself to a good point return with this high priced ADC.

Value Pick: Lwx (FPX: $10,500)

Top

Favorite: bin (RNG: $6,600) As Weibo gaming has transitioned from the former Suning, the position they have missed most has been in the top lane. Their previous top laner, bin, has continued his dominance of the top lane in the LPL but now for RNG. The former World Champion finalist is in the top five in kills (44) and KDA (3.5) among all top laners in the LPL. RNG should have the edge in the top half of the map against a struggling TES on Saturday so look for them to draft bin some agency here.

Value Pick: Doran (GEN: $5,400)

Jungle

Favorite: JieJie (EDG: $7,200) I find myself being like many League of Legends fans and forgetting about the quality performance that Jiejie constantly brings to the table. He has a 7.3 KDA (highest among LPL junglers) and over 70% team kill participation rate. A lot of junglers will passively farm their half of the jungle, then look for opportunistic times to help in lanes. JieJie is aggressive in enemy jungles and forces opposing lanes to respect the possibility of him ganking at any moment. This leads to massive leads for his laners as they can be more aggressive.

Value Pick: SofM (WBG: $6,600)

Mid

Favorite: ShowMaker (DWG: $7,600) Even with a more down year for DWG, ShowMaker still controls the middle lane. He has 48 kills and a 4.5 KDA in the 17 games DWG has played in 2022. ShowMaker has had to do a lot of this without the direct help of his jungler, Canyon. In past years Canyon and ShowMaker would roam together and take over a game but with weaker performing lanes now, ShowMaker has really had to navigate most of his laning phases alone. This is even more exceptional when you watch the DWG games and see how many resources opposing teams funnel into trying to keep ShowMaker irrelevant.

Value Pick: Chovy (GEN: $6,400)

ADC

Favorite: Gala (RNG: $7,600) Gala has fallen out of favor in the wider League of Legends community after their failure to win the 2021 World Championship. He is fourth in the LPL among ADCs in the assist category (86) and fifth in kills (64). While TES is a scary opponent, they have really struggled to find their identity in 2022. After the failures of 2020 for the TES squad in the World Championship, the team has never looked quite the same.

Value Pick: huanfeng (WBG: $7,200)

Support

Favorite: Meiko (EDG: $6,000) Pair the best producing support on the slate with the best producing ADC on the slate. Team WE is the worst team in the LPL so this pick should be as close of a lock as possible for the reigning World Champions.

Value Pick: Keria (T1: $5,200)

Team

Favorite: Damwon Gaming ($5,800) Damwon has slowly crept back into the top four in the LCK. They are +5 in the game won differential and they fundamentally have the right approach to games. They focus on building small leads into objective takes in the early to mid game. We see them prioritize good wave management which leads to more wins in higher tiers of play. They have had some lapses in individual performances which is why they have dropped the 3 series they have. There shouldn’t be too many opportunities for Liiv SANDBOX to out play the once World Champions.

Value Pick: Weibo Gaming ($5,000)
