Welcome to week three of the LEC! Teams across the league are rounding into form and each slate seems to come with a must watch match. On Saturday we have two possible playoff matchup previews with Vitality taking on Rouge and the age old rivalry between G2 and Fnatic ready to write their next chapter. Bottom of the table organizations square off against each all the while the majority of the league are within striking distance of each other. With Saturday being the conclusion of week three, these European powers have to be hitting on all cylinders to make a push towards the Spring Split Playoffs.

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Unf0rgiven (MAD: $12,000) I am not a fan of this price tag but you can’t disrespect the work that the MAD Lions rookie has put in through 6 games. He has 39 kills with  34 assists. The MAD Lions are a bloodthirsty team that do not shy from fights, I love the ceiling for this pick, with Unf0rgiven averaging 37 FPPG which would top your lineup with 55.5 points, a great start to winning your lobbies.

Value Pick: Larssen (RGE: $10,200)

Top

Favorite: Jenax (SK: $6,400) SK Gaming has a really favorable matchup for Saturday with their opponent being Team BDS. BDS has not not been able to make the jump from the LFL to the LEC very well. Jenax is into the young gun in Adam who has had a pretty fast fall from grace since departing Fnatic. Jenax has the second most kills among top laners (23) and has become one of the strongest pieces in the SK lineup.

Value Pick: BrokenBlade (G2: $5,400)

Jungle

Favorite: Elyoya (MAD: $7,400) Elyoya had one of his lowest production matches on Friday and he still ended up with a 4.0 KDA. His Lee Sin kept Markoon from playing with any sort of initiative. Elyoya is one of the two driving forces for the MAD Lions success and MSF’s jungler (shlatan) will have a hard time keeping up with the Spanish jungler.

Value Pick: Malrang (RNG: $6,200)

Mid

Favorite: Humanoid (FNC: $7,600) Through the first two weeks of play, Humanoid dropped 13 kills and 38 assists. Humanoid does a lot for FNC in the mid lane, including strain the opponents resources and make them respond to him in the mid lane. He is playing G2 and caPs on Saturday. In the head to head, I think FNC will struggle as a team but Humanoid should be able to exploit the struggling caPs while in the laning phase.

Value Pick: Vetheo (MSF: $6,000)

ADC

Favorite: Patrik (XL: $7,400) There are a wide range of ADCs on the slate, many of them have high production. In the 2021 season, the ADC role was reduced to almost a placeholder state. ADCs in 2022 are now some of the highest producing players in a lineup. Mattyx from BDS is one of the worst ADCs in recent LEC memory which leaves an even better opportunity for Patrik to continue his strong showing in 2022.

Value Pick: Flaked (G2: $6,200)

Support

Favorite: Kaiser (MAD: $6,200) Through the first two weeks Kaiser is tied for the most assists (61) and a 72% team kill participation rate for one of the most aggressive teams in the LEC. Kaiser will help Unf0rgiven win his lane but also can roam across the map with Elyoya to gain advantages for Humanoid and Armut. MAD Lions continue to look strong and they have a great matchup against the 3-3 MSF who are on a two game skid coming into Saturday.

Value Pick: Trymbi (RGE: $5,000)

Team

Favorite: Rogue ($4,600) Rogue is the best value for an upset I see on the slate. They just dismantled FNC on Friday and they are being disrespected by the betters who are favoring the hot streaking Team Vitality over them. VIT has had better individual performances but look to still struggle with putting those individual performances together for a cohesive and clean team win. Rogue will control the pace of the game and I expect that as the game goes on later, it will be more difficult for VIT to force their chaotic fights they love so much.

Value Pick: G2 Esports ($3,800)
