(-125) Counter Logic Gaming v Team Dignitas (-105)

(-125) Team Liquid v 100 Thieves (-105)

(+115) Team Solomid v Cloud9 (-140)

(-170) Immortals v Flyquest (+130)

(-275) Evil Geniuses v Golden Guardians (+200)

The LCS never stops surprising fans. With tha dramatic fall from grace in Cloud9 (0-2 in games this weekend) to the surge from Counter Logic Gaming (2-0 in games this weekend) this split has proved to be binge worthy. It should also be noted that there is a bit of a race in kills at this point between TL ADC Tactical and IMT ADC Raes who both have 41 kills! Things are heating up and you want to make sure you know as much about each matchup going into this Father’s Day slate! Let’s get after it!

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Danny (EG: $12,000) I wanted to take a minute to give some credit to a rookie in the LCS. Danny has been by no means a flashy player in his first three weeks as a pro, but he has done his part to carry EG in some big games. He has over a 3 KDA in their 8 games so far and doesn’t demand a lot of resources which can really help EG win games. He plays safe and reacts to plays made by Svenskeren and IgNar. Into a struggling Golden Guardians, I think this should be a pretty clean win. That being said, and it is Evil Geniuses and they lose stupid games so keep that in mind.

Value Pick: Raes (IMT: $11,100) *THIS IS A STEAL OF A PRICE*

Top Lane

Favorite: Impact (EG: $7,000) Probably the most consistent player on the lineup. I think he got a really bad reputation by the end of his TL tenure of only being able to play tanks in a side lane. In this meta though he has shown that he can be that tank if needed or if asked by his team, can be an absolute menace on a more carry style champion. I want to see him on the Lee Sin/Nocturne/Gwen pick. If they put him on something aggressive I think he can abuse the GG top laner (Solo) in the 1v1 and rack up some serious points.

Value Pick: Fudge (C9: $6,600)

Jungle

Favorite: Xerxe (IMT: $7,000) I am not sure what Xerxe did over the mid-season break but it worked. He has a 73% team kill participation, has limited his deaths (only 14% team death share), and is aggressive in the early game. I think there will be challenges with Josedeodo but what makes me comfortable with this pick is the gap in the lanes. Insanity is a top 5 mid laner, and Raes/Destiny finally look comfortable. Watch for Xerxe to time his ganks to ensure IMT pick up much needed objectives.

Value Pick: Broxah (CLG: $6,400)

Mid Lane

Favorite: Insanity (IMT: $7,400) I just hyped up Insanity but I want to do it some more. When this roster was an absolute dumpster fire, Insanity was one of the only bright points. He could win lane but felt pressured to do too much in team fights. Now? His teammates are carrying their weight and we get to see Insanity unlocked. He has a 5.1 KDA and 18 kills/48 assists to his name in 8 games. While his kills aren’t crazy his total kill participation makes him valuable in your lineup.

Value Pick: Abbedagge (100T: $6,600)

ADC

Favorite: Tactical (TL: $7,200) It has been said multiple times now in the broadcast that there has been a shift in TL strategy. They were so focused on getting Alphari ahead that little to no resources were given to the bot lane. Now that Alphari looks to be out indefinitely, Tactical is the focus of TL. He is absolutely ripping apart the other bot lanes in the league. While FBI/huhi pose more of a threat, Tactical has 41 kills and 49 assists to his name in 8 games. FBI only has 32 kills and 47 assists to his name. I think CoreJJ is the difference maker in this lane and will help make sure Tactical is able to kite and deal damage as needed.

Value Pick: Lost (TSM: $6,000)

Support

Favorite: Destiny (IMT: $5,800) (Queue the 30 for 30 music and intro voice…) What if I told you that the league leader in useless deaths would change it around and become one of the most aggressive and productive supports? If Destiny isn’t on a short list for MVP so far I am not sure who is running league awards. He has the second most assists (74) and an almost 80% team kill participation. We have seen the IMT bot lane evolve into the kill lane we all thought they could be with their synergy that had coming to the LCS from OCE. Flyquest has had an awful time in the bot lane through the first 8 games with a combined 2.5 KDA and 39 deaths. Immortals? Combined KDA of almost 4 and almost 50 kills between them. Love this matchup today.

Value Pick: Smoothie (CLG: $5,200)

Team

Favorite: Immortals ($5,400)  Flyquest cannot find their way in late game fights. Over and over again we see them make really big mental errors that have them losing leads and advantages that they have built up. On the other hand we have Immortals who are top three in almost every team metric including both early game and late game ratings. I think it is a preparation gap here and we are going to see a fairly one sided affair. FLY will make some plays, especially around the mid lane but IMT is just too good at team fighting and preparing objectives to give FLY too much of an opportunity to win.

Value Pick: 100 Thieves ($4,400)
