NFL DFS Week 12 WR Coach for Fanduel & DraftKings Fantasy

I’ll be honest, I didn’t particularly love the slate of games from a wide receiver perspective. Between injuries, matchups, etc., it wasn’t the most giddy I’ve felt about the position. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t good options, but I found a lot of good options in the mid-to-upper tiers, and the value options weren’t as appealing to me as past weeks. There are a few, and perhaps as the week goes on, I’ll come around on guys like Darnell Mooney. After sifting through the data and crunching the numbers, I’ve identified my favorite plays at the position this week, and there should be a receiver or two at every price point to give you plenty of options when building your NFL DFS lineups this week, headlined by none other than Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seattle Seahawks.

NFL Week 12 Wide Receivers

Quick notes on the slate:

  • 5 games with a total of at least 47 points
  • Ownership report here.
  • Highest implied team totals: Lions (29.49), Ravens (28.43), Patriots (27.75), Chiefs (26.39), Seahawks (26.13), Bengals (24.88), Eagles (24.70)

This is a living, breathing resource, and it will be updated as the week goes on, based on injury news, practice reports, etc. By Sunday, you may see some players removed who were earlier featured, or perhaps some players added as we approach Sunday kickoff.

NFL DFS WR Top Tier Picks for Week 12

CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys - DraftKings: $7,900 | FanDuel: $9,000

Back in Week 1, Lamb handled 13 targets against Philadelphia, catching seven of them for a game-high 110 yards. Cooper DeJean is tough in the slot, so what I would expect is that Dallas looks to put Philadelphia in as much nickel as possible, with the emphasis to attack Adoree' Jackson in coverage. He’s the most vulnerable of Philly’s primary corners, and back in Week 1, when going at Jackson, Dallas had five receptions on seven targets for 103 yards, per PFF.

Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs - DraftKings: $7,700 | FanDuel: $8,100

Since Rice returned from suspension, he’s WR5 in fantasy points per game and has immediately resumed his role as WR1 for this Patrick Mahomes-led offense. The Colts did just get Sauce Gardner, but I wouldn’t expect him to travel into the slot, which is where just under 43% of Rice’s snaps have come this season. Kenny Moore is a fine slot corner, but the fact remains that Indy has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to slot receivers this season, per FantasyPoints.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $9,200

St. Brown hasn’t been as statistically dominant the last two weeks with Dan Campbell calling the offense, but he’s still been quite good, and has a 26.4% target share the last two weeks, per FantasyPoints. St. Brown has nearly split his reps 50/50 between the perimeter and slot the last two weeks, and regardless of his alignment, he’s in a good spot. The Giants have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game this year to perimeter wideouts and the sixth-most fantasy points per game to slot receivers, per FantasyPoints.

NFL DFS WR Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 12

Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $6,700

Smash spot alert! The Bengals have allowed the second-most yards per route run to the slot, not to mention the fifth-most receiving yards per game. Out of the slot this year, Diggs has posted a 10.1 average depth of target (aDOT), 1.89 yards per route run, and 102.1 passer rating when targeted, per FantasyPoints. In addition to that, the Bengals play single-high safeties at the eighth-highest clip in the league, and Diggs’ 2.72 yards per route run against single-high safeties is eighth-best amongst WRs with at least 100 routes run against it, per FantasyPoints. Lastly, he’s averaging nearly 15 fantasy points per game over his last five contests.

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $6,400 | FanDuel: $7,300

In two Tyler Shough starts, Olave has a near 50/50 split between his routes out wide and in the slot, but overall, he’s held a strong 26.5% first read rate, 3.50 yards per route run, and 20.8% target share, per FantasyPoints. Olave has been very strong against single-high safety coverages this season (0.31 targets per route run, 2.57 yards per route run), and Atlanta plays that at the highest clip in the league, per FantasyPoints. The Falcons have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to receivers over the last four weeks, and I’d expect New Orleans to take a page from Carolina’s playbook and get its star receiver into the slot OFTEN against the Falcons.

Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears - DraftKings: $6,100 | FanDuel: $6,900

This matchup sets up very, very well for Odunze. Pittsburgh has been crushed by perimeter receivers this year, as no team has allowed more yards per game to the perimeter than Pittsburgh, per FantasyPoints. Furthermore, they LOVE to play man coverage, and Odunze is the clear leader in the Chicago clubhouse when it comes to facing man coverage, highlighted by his 0.30 targets per route run and 2.43 yards per route run, per FantasyPoints. The production has been a bit hit-or-miss for Odunze of late, but it's hard not to love his outlook against a team that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to receivers overall in 2025.

Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $7,100

The switch to Dan Campbell has unlocked Williams. He’s averaging 21.8 fantasy points per game over the last two weeks, and he’s set to dominate a lackluster New York secondary. Williams is more than just a deep ball specialist, but I love his outlook for a long touchdown, as the Giants have allowed the fourth-most receiving yards and seventh-highest passer rating when targeted on balls 20+ yards downfield. Expect the hot streak to continue for Williams, as this game is at home, and the Giants have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to wideouts in 2025.

DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $7,200

Dallas is vulnerable on the perimeter, so A.J. Brown is intriguing, at least to an extent, and while Smith will go out wide, too, I’m really intrigued by his reps out of the slot. Dallas has allowed the seventh-most yards per route run to the slot this season, per FantasyPoints. Furthermore, Dallas plays a ton of zone coverage, and Smith has been the zone killer for Philly this year, posting 2.39 yards per route run and 0.47 fantasy points per route run, according to FantasyPoints.

NFL Week 12 DFS WR Value Picks

Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals - DraftKings: $4,800 | FanDuel: $6,300

We’ll have to see if Marvin Harrison will return, but if not, fire Wilson up yet again! Arizona has been very pass-happy with Jacoby Brissett, and given injuries at running back, that trend figures to continue! With no MHJ in Week 11, Wilson took the vast majority of his routes on the perimeter, and the Jaguars have allowed the fourth-most yards per game and fantasy points per game to the perimeter in 2025, per FantasyPoints.

Andrei Iosivas, Cincinnati Bengals - DraftKings: $4,100 | FanDuel: $5,600

Tee Higgins is a fine play as well, but he figures to see a bunch of Christian Gonzalez. Iosivas gets a good matchup in the slot against Marcus Jones, who has allowed four touchdowns and a 110.1 passer rating when targeted in slot coverage, per Pro Football Focus. He’s been more productive against man coverage than zone, and New England plays man coverage at the 11th-highest rate (5th-most fantasy points per dropback when in man), per FantasyPoints.

NFL DFS WR Fade for Week 12

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings - DraftKings: $7,400 | FanDuel: $8,300

It hasn’t happened yet for Jefferson with J.J. McCarthy, and I don’t think this is the week it will happen. Green Bay can generate pressure, and when under pressure this season, McCarthy has really struggled. When under pressure, he’s completed just 45.7% of his passes with 4.80 yards per attempt, 49.3 QB passer rating, and a 50% catchable throw rating (compared to 71.3% when not pressured), per FantasyPoints. If the Green Bay pass rush is all over McCarthy, it’s hard to imagine a big day for Jefferson, even with the volume he’s getting of late (10.3 targets per game over the last four weeks).

NFL Week 12 WR Play of The Week

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks - DraftKings: $9,000 | FanDuel: $9,800

Yes, he’s the highest priced WR on the slate, but this matchup is JUICY! The Titans have allowed the second-most yards per route run to the perimeter, and fifth-most fantasy points per game to receivers out wide, and JSN has been dominant to say the least in 2025. Furthermore, the Titans play a ton of two-high safeties, and this season, Smith-Njigba has 0.41 targets per route run and 5.46 yards per route run against these looks, per FantasyPoints. For a frame of reference, the next closest receiver to JSN in yards per route run with at least 100 routes against two-high looks is Drake London at 2.78! JSN is nearly double that!
