For the second straight week, I went 1-2, done in by two terrible quarterbacks. I still can’t believe Christian McCaffrey only caught two passes, and I also feel silly for expecting O.J. Howard and Mike Evans to score touchdowns. I expect another low-scoring Thursday night game between two teams who want to rely on defense and running the football, so I’m probably going to look for props where I can choose the Under unless they involve rushing yards.

Leonard Fournette , Derrick Henry and Delanie Walker over 41.5 fantasy points

I would consider choosing these same three players for the Touchdown Dance, but I think there’s a decent chance these two teams don’t even combine for two touchdowns. I feel more confident about them getting 41.5 fantasy points, considering they are averaging a combined 50.4 fantasy points. It's hard to imagine either team falling so far behind that they cannot run the ball, so Henry and Fournette should be pretty safe.

Over Under

Marcus Mariota 197.5 Passing Yards: UNDER

Mariota was well over this total in Week 1 against Cleveland and well under in Week 2 against Indianapolis. Jacksonville held Deshaun Watson to just 159 passing yards last week, so I like their chances of limiting Mariota as well.

Gardner Minshew 220.5 Passing Yards: UNDER

Minshew passed for 213 yards against Houston last week, but 275 in relief of Nick Foles in Week 1. The Titans held Jacoby Brissett to 146 passing yards in Week 2, and I’m not sure Minshew is any better than Brissett. I think both of these teams are going to try to rely on their defenses and running games, so I doubt very much it becomes a shootout.

RapidFire

Passing Yards: Gardner Minshew vs. Marcus Mariota +23.5

Rushing Yards: Derrick Henry vs. Leonard Fournette +5.5

If either quarterback is going to top 200 passing yards, it is probably Minshew, considering he’s done it twice already. Derrick Henry has at least 81 rushing yards in six straight games going back to last season, while Fournette hasn’t topped 66 yards in five straight games and eight of his last 10. Even if both of these running backs are bottled up, Henry’s big-play ability gives him an edge.
