Tonight's featured NBA Showdown is a Western Conference matchup featuring the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors announced a couple of midday additions to their injury report in Gary Payton and Seth Curry. They have plenty of depth, and their status doesn't impact the slate much. On the other side, the Blazers have their top three centers listed as questionable, but both Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams are likely to play, according to the Portland beat. Let's break it all down.

DFS Captain / MVP Picks

Deni Avdija, POR

(DK CPT - $16,200, UTIL - $10,800 / FD CPT - $22,800, UTIL - $15,200)

Avdija has been filling up the stat sheet all season long, and his production has climbed even further since Jrue Holiday went down with an injury. Since Holiday's injury, Avdija is averaging 25.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game. He's also flashed a ceiling of more than 70 fantasy points multiple times during that stretch.

Stephen Curry, GSW

(DK CPT - $15,600, UTIL - $10,400 / FD CPT - $20,400, UTIL - $13,600)

The greatest shooter in history is always live to drop 40 actual points on any given night. Curry has scored at least 30 points in four of his last five games, and he already has three performances of at least 40 points this season. He has flashed a ceiling of 60 fantasy points in those spike scoring games.

Jimmy Butler, GSW

(DK CPT - $14,100, UTIL - $9,400 / FD CPT - $18,000, UTIL - $12,000)

Butler doesn't have the scoring upside of Curry, but he does have multiple paths to a ceiling performance. He contributes in virtually every stat category and has the ability to spike a double-digit performance in rebounds or assists.

DFS Utility Picks

Jerami Grant, POR

(DK CPT - $10,800, UTIL - $7,200 / FD CPT - $14,400, UTIL - $9,600)

Grant has a similar profile to Butler in that he contributes in virtually every stat category, which gives him an excellent floor. He doesn't have quite the ceiling of the top three players, but there is enough of a discount here to consider him in the top lineup spot, and he's a core UTIL option.

Shaedon Sharpe, POR

(DK CPT - $11,400, UTIL - $7,600 / FD CPT - $15,300, UTIL - $10,200)

Sharpe has posted a usage rate above 28% since he returned from a calf injury that caused him to miss four games. His scoring average is only down in that time because the Blazers understandably eased him back to full strength after the injury. Last game, he was in the starting lineup for the first time since his return and should be a full-go for this one.

Pat Spencer, GSW

(DK CPT - $6,600, UTIL - $4,400 / FD CPT - $7,500, UTIL - $5,000)

Spencer has started the last three games, including last time out when Stephen Curry returned to the lineup. He is still underpriced for that starting role and is a core UTIL option because of that.

Draymond Green, GSW

(DK CPT - $10,500, UTIL - $7,000 / FD CPT - $8,100, UTIL - $5,400)

Green is expected to return after missing the last three games. Assuming he is not on a restriction, that should lock him into a starting role for about 30 minutes of action. He is a strong floor option to fill out one of the UTIL spots.

DFS Dart Throws

  • Donovan Clingan, POR (DK CPT - $9,300, UTIL - $6,200 / FD CPT - $11,700, UTIL - $5,800)
  • De'Anthony Melton, GSW (DK CPT - $4,200, UTIL - $2,800 / FD CPT - $5,400, UTIL - $3,600)
  • Toumani Camara, POR (DK CPT - $9,600, UTIL - $6,400 / FD CPT - $9,000, UTIL - $6,000)
  • Robert Williams, POR (DK CPT - $7,500, UTIL - $5,000 / FD CPT - $7,800, UTIL - $5,200)
