NBA Injury Report Week 7
Michael Porter Jr, Forward, Brooklyn Nets: Back
At first it was believed to have been minor, or possibly a fib for Porter Jr. to rest in back-to-back games. But he missed both games, and this injury should be monitored going forward.
Larry Nance Jr, Forward, Cleveland Cavaliers: Calf
Nance Jr. is out with a calf injury this Sunday, and it could go beyond one game. He is oft-injured and it could take him longer than anticipated to recover from.
Jarrett Allen, Center, Cleveland Cavaliers: Finger
Allen will be out Sunday versus the Boston Celtics with a finger injury. He played 28 minutes on the 28th, and this could be pre-cautionary instead of a serious injury.
Lonzo Ball, Guard, Cleveland Cavaliers: Knee
Ball is out with a knee injury Sunday. It is not believed to be severe, as he played 17 minutes on the 28th. With his injury history, it is worth monitoring. Put him on the IR.
Stephen Curry, Guard, Golden State Warriors: Quadricep
Curry was injured while playing the Houston Rockets, and it was feared to be a severe strain. However Coach Kerr recently stated ‘It’s a big relief’ in response to his injury update. Curry is expected out about a week. They could rest him a little longer due to his age, but do not drop him.
Al Horford, Center, Golden State Warriors: Back
Horford did not play Saturday, and has not played since November 21st. He is not expected to play against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the second of next month either.Â
Trey Murphy, Guard, New Orleans Pelicans: Elbow
He did not play Saturday the 28th, but could play in the second of back-to-back games. His injury should be monitored for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Larry Shamet, Guard, New York Knicks: Shoulder
Shamet has a shoulder injury that should keep him out at least a month. He is droppable in most formats.
Isaiah Hartenstein, Center, Oklahoma City Thunder: Calf
Hartenstein missed the Thunder’s game Saturday and is expected to miss games until at least December 10th. Put him on the IR and hold onto him if shallow at the center position.
Trendon Watford, Forward, Philadelphia 76ers: Thigh
Watford was a waiver wire mention a couple weeks ago, but has injured his thigh. He is expected to be out until at least December 18th. He is droppable in most formats.
RJ Barrett, Forward, Toronto Raptors: KneeÂ
Barrett will not be able to play against his former team Sunday, and is expected to miss at least two more games. Put him on the IR, or hold onto him at the end of the bench.
Corey Kispert, Guard, Washington Wizards: Thumb
Kispert injured his thumb and missed The Wizards game Saturday. He is expected to be out at least the first half of December.

Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 7
Jared McCain, Guard, Philadelphia 76ers: Owned in 31% of Sleeper Leagues
McCain has returned to the 76ers, and just in time. VJ Edgecombe has been injured, and Philadelphia needs depth to its backcourt bench. McCain has played 24 or more minutes in each of his three last games. He has scored 15 or more points in all three of those matches. He also has recorded 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals. Get McCain if in need of guard help.
Jay Huff, Center, Indiana Pacers: Owned in 5% of Sleeper Leagues
Jay Huff has found a role that contributes to fantasy basketball. He has served as the Pacers primary center the last six games, and has been playing well. He has played 21 or more minutes in all but one of those matches, and has logged over 20 fantasy points in every game during that stretch. He has three games with over thirty fantasy basketball points during that period (in standard DraftKings scoring). Pick him up if in need of a reliable high floor center.
Dominick Barlow, Forward/Center, Philadelphia 76ers: Owned in 3% of Sleeper Leagues
Another Philadelphia 76ers player cracks the list, this time power forward Cominick Barlow. He earned a double-double Friday in 25 minutes of court time. He has 25 or more minutes in three of the 76ers last four matches, and has 17.25 or more fantasy points in four consecutive games. With Embiid often injured, and Drummond a 13-year veteran, Barlow will have several relevant games. Pick him up off of the waiver wire.
Ryan Nembhard, Guard, Dallas Mavericks: Owned in 2% of Sleeper Leagues
Nembhard has and is currently starting at point guard, as the Mavericks look to find a solution to its backcourt. He could be a starter until Kyrie Irving comes back. He has played 20+ minutes in the last two games, and has scored a combined 25 points in those two games. He has recorded four assists in each game, and 15 combined assists in three games since returning from injury. He is available in essentially every league.
Khris Middleton, Forward, Washington Wizards: Owned in 24% of Sleeper Leagues
As crazy as it is, Middleton is only owned in 24% of leagues. He has scored 25 or more fantasy points in four of his last five games. He is filling the stat sheet with 13 rebounds, 16 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal in his last two games. The 13 year vet is savvy, and is a steal of a pick up in almost all fantasy basketball formats. Pick up Middleton from the waiver wire.
Jaylen Wells, Guard/Forward, Memphis Grizzlies: Owned in 14% of Sleeper Leagues
Wells has been a man on fire with Ja Morant out of the lineup. Although there is speculation Morant could return soon, there is also speculation that Morant is not happy. And that he could force a trade. Wells has played 28 or more minutes in four consecutive games, has 21.25 or more fantasy points in every game, 69 combined points, 19 combined rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals. It will be difficult for Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach, Tuomas Iisalo, to keep him out of the lineup. Make sure to get Wells off of the Waivers and in starting fantasy basketball lineups.
