We have a wonderful divisional matchup for Monday Night Football tonight as the Chiefs take on the Broncos. Boom Fantasy has us covered with contests out the wazoo! If you’re looking to take on the team here at Fantasy Alarm, click HERE.

Quarterbacks

We start off this week’s tournament questions with the QB’s, which is normally where everyone wants to start with anyways. We’re asked who will have the most yards between Alex Smith and Trevor Siemian on Monday. Smith has thrown for 240 yards or more in six of the seven games he’s played. Siemian has done that same feat just twice in the six contests he’s been in. The Chiefs are -7 favorites, so if Denver gets down big early, similarly to what happened versus the Giants, Siemian could hoist the ball quite a bit, giving him an edge even though Smith is the clear favorite here.

Running Backs

Moving right along, question two doesn’t just include running backs, but Alex Smith makes it 2-for-2 in question’s he’s been in. He’s the least likely to win the most rushing yards because he’d have to beat out Kareem Hunt, C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles. Hunt is obviously the favorite here, rushing for 80-plus yards in six of seven games while eclipsing the 100-yard plateau four times. C.J. Anderson is a nice GPP dart because we’ve seen the upside, but he has just 19 carries for 61 yards over his last two games. Jamaal Charles continues to be phased out of the Broncos offense with each passing week. He’s carried the rock just 14 times over the team’s last three games and accrued just 55 yards.

Receiving

For question three, we’re asked who between Kareem Hunt, Albert Wilson, Bennie Fowler III and A.J. Derby will have the most receiving yards on Monday night? Hunt is the favorite here as he happens to have more receiving yards than any of em. Fowler and Derby are definitely sneaky here. Emmanuel Sanders is very questionable as he didn’t practice at all this week and the Chiefs will likely look to take Demaryius Thomas out of the game, knowing he’s their one real pass catching threat if Sanders doesn’t play. Derby has had two big games over the last three weeks, notching 10 catches for 141 yards and a score. Fowler, on the other hand, has seen 13 targets over his last two games as well, including five catches for 45 yards versus the Chargers with Sanders off the field.

Sticking with the receiving aspect of things, we move on to receptions. There seem to be just two viable candidates out of the four names we can pick from and that’s Tyreek Hill and Emmanuel Sanders and Sanders might not even play. If Sanders doesn’t play, this question is voided anyways. Hill has made four catches and has seen six targets in every game this year, so the volume is exactly what we want for this question.

Touchdowns

Before we get going with question five, Virgil Green is questionable, so if he doesn’t play, this question will be voided. If he does play, Travis Kelce is the HUGE favorite here. Denver has allowed the sixth most fantasy points to tight ends on the year and Kelce has the most touchdowns (3) in this question. Demaryius Thomas has not sniffed the end zone this year as Trevor Siemian has really struggled throwing for touchdowns and Virgil Green and De’Anthony Thomas have three touchdowns combined. I will say, Thomas could be a sneaky option here. He does a little bit of everything in this Chiefs offense, including taking reverses, kick offs and punt returns as well as his normal receiving duties.

NFL/NBA/Hybrid

As per usual, we get a two-sport hybrid question to spice things up a bit. Alex Smith is favored over with the two NBA guys in Yogi Ferrell and Joe Ingles wedged in-between Trevor Siemian who rounds of the question. For the NFL part, it’s about passing touchdowns, which obviously favors Smith. The NBA portion asks us who will make more three pointers, which Ferrell has averaged more to this point in the season. Dennis Smith Jr. is questionable on Monday, so if he sits, Ferrell might have a massive role in this game, making him a really sweet option here. It might all not matter if Ingles, who’s questionable, doesn’t play.

Receiving Yards

As always we get receiving yards for singular players as our last two questions. First up is Demaryius Thomas who has a nice matchup versus the Chiefs. KC has allowed the five most yards to receivers on the year and have allowed the most touchdowns, which bodes well for Thomas in other questions he’s in as well. The over/under for Thomas’ yards is currently set at 46 and I’m willing to bet the over for this contest, especially if the Broncos are going to stay in this game. Travis Kelce finishes off the tournament questions with an over/under of 57 yards. Denver has allowed the 13th most yards to TE this season, but the team has only played six games thus far, two fewer than half the team’s in front of them. The Chiefs are seven point favorites and if I could read the future I’d say Kelce plays a large factor in that tonight.
