Caris LeVert , SG IND ($4,400)

I know LeVert missed a substantial part of the season, but he is back for his third game with the Pacers tonight and I did a double take when I saw his price. Calling it a revenge game might not be completely accurate as LeVert faces his former team for the first time following the James Harden trade but I would expect him to be motivated. Minutes aren’t going to be a concern as LeVert played 27 minutes in his debut and then played 29 minutes on Monday against Denver. The same could be said for his production as he scored 17 points while grabbing two rebounds, dishing out two assists, and picking up three steals. LeVert’s price is only going to rise from this point out, and this is pretty close to a free square tonight as the over/under for tonight’s game is 234 so the guard will be busy. This level of usage and track record for the price is a rarity.

Marcus Smart , SG BOS ($5,500)

Based on his performance since returning from a calf injury there is some risk here but it is telling that Kemba Walker will be sidelined in the second game of a back-to-back while Smart is slated to take his place in the starting lineup. After scoring 19 points in his first game back, Smart has scored five in each of his next two games, but he did take 10 shots last night so we could chalk it up more to being an off-shooting night than an issue with his role. Between LeVert and Smart, you could cheaply fill the shooting guard position tonight, and a combined 60-65 FD points with the room for a little upside is a reasonable expectation.

Dwight Howard , C PHI ($5,000)

As Joel Emblid continues to be sidelined, Howard has emerged as a solid option. We can expect a 4x-5x return on his cost as the floor as the center is coming off an 11-point, 12 rebound, three block performance against the Knicks last night. It was the third game of double-digit rebounds in his last four (he had eight in the other game) as Howard is proving his worth on the boards while also chipping in a little offensively. With an over/under of 235, it figures to be an offensive, fast-paced battle which means there should be plenty of opportunity for Howard to have his second straight 30-plus FD scoring night.

Sterling Brown , SG/SF HOU ($4,600)

With Victor Oladipo getting the night off for rest tonight, Brown remains in the starting lineup as a high-volume option after playing 36 minutes last night and eclipsing the 30-minute mark in five of his last six games. While the upside might be limited, Brown does provide a solid floor for the price along with the capability of hitting double digits in both points and rebounds.

Jeff Green , SF/PF BKN ($4,200)

Green originally signed in Brooklyn with the expectation that he would be more of a complementary piece but the Nets have been leaning on him more that previously thought. That will continue as Kevin Durant remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and Blake Griffin works to get back in playing shape. The forward has proven to be up to the task of playing around 30 minutes a game while contributing both on the offensive end and on the boards. On Monday, Green flashed that 20-point upside against the Knicks and he is usually good for a few rebounds per game as well. Green has had some “empty” games earlier this season where despite playing 30-plus minutes he was a fantasy non-factor, but since the All-Star break he is averaging 23 DK points per game.

Tomas Satoransky , PG CHI ($3,800)

Based on what we have seen from Satoransky over the last two games, I’m a little surprised to see where he is priced for tonight as the point guard looks for his third straight game of greater than 30 DK points. The starting lineup has agreed with Satoransky as he has picked up seven assists in each of his last two games while scoring 10 and 13 points, respectively. Prior to this, it’s not like he was a non-factor either but beginning the game on the court is certainly a good thing for his value.
