2022 Player Outlook

We saw glimpses of Mitch Trubisky last season, coming in to relieve starting quarterback Josh Allen, but we haven't seen him play an entire game since 2020 with the Chicago Bears. That year he ranked 24th in yards per attempt, 31st in accuracy rating, and 35th in deep-ball completion percentage. An argument could be made that this was due to injury or poor coaching, but whatever the reason, Trubisky was not good. In 2022, he'll likely begin the season as the starter in Pittsburgh, but there is a very real possibility that rookie Kenny Pickett replaces him as the starter before the year is over. He should be avoided in fantasy.
