Troy Brown Jr. played 29 minutes in Sunday’s loss to Oklahoma City, posting a line of 12 points (5-of-14 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.
Brown was able to get more minutes as the lone “point guard” on the court Sunday, thanks to the combination of Shabazz Napier being sidelined due to injury and Ish Smith getting into early foul trouble. While he did some good things and only turned the ball over twice on the day, Brown also struggled against Oklahoma City’s perimeter length. He’ll have more opportunities to run the show in the Wizards’ remaining games in the bubble, as the team has already been eliminated from playoff contention. That makes Brown a must-play in any format. Yesterday 3:07 pm (EST)
