Welcome in to Tuesday on the NHL Best Bets! We are back to a large slate tonight in the world of hockey with 10 games around the league set to drop puck and I can't wait to dive into this one! Last night the picks went perfect in a duo of winners to push the season record back over .500 which is exciting given how the slumps went in October. Onwards and upwards though as I have a trio of bets for today's slate that are juicy including a pair at plus money! You'll find a game total, Money Line and Puck Line in today's article and if you agree with the rationale feel free to tail the wagers!

NHL Best Bets for November 7

New Jersey Devils at Colorado Avalanche

With a slate this big around the NHL there are going to be some big time matchups and this one might take the cake! With both the Devils and Avalanche at 7 wins already this season we could be looking at a Stanley Cup Finals preview tonight and it's going to have fire works. The Devils are scoring 3.91 goals per game the 3rd highest average in the NHL coming into tonight and they have scored 19 goals over their last 5 games more recently. On the Colorado side they are scoring a bit lower than normal at 3.1 goals per game but with the roster they have goals can happen at any point. The Devils have gone over the total in 9 pf 10 games this season as well which is an impressive track record while the Avs have gone under in 6 of 9 games so something has got to give. I think you should lean the over though with this much talent on the ice so let's ride that.

Pick: Devils & Avalanche Over 6 Goals (-120 on BetMGM)

Philadelphia Flyers at San Jose Sharks

Until the I see the Sharks actually win a game I am going to keep betting against them and that continues tonight as the Flyers come to town. The Flyers are playing some good hockey too this season which is a better reason than just fading the Sharks as they are playing great team defense although Carter Hart is injured and that's a bummer but this roster is still competitive in front of whichever goalie gets the start. Let's talk about the Sharks now as they've been impressively bad at 0-10-1 on the season. They are also 1-10 against the spread this season so they are losing and losing bad with their -43 goal differential just 11 games into the season. Not very analytical but fade the Sharks until they turn this crap show around.

Pick: Philadelphia Flyers Puck Line -1.5 (+120 on PointsBet)

Minnesota Wild at New York Islanders

It's been a slow start to the season for the Wild after last year's success but I think they are starting to round into form finally after a shaky few weeks. They snapped a 4 game losing streak with an impressive win against the Rangers this past weekend and now they play the other New York team in the Islanders and they are much less talented. The Islanders score just 2.7 goals per game this season and allow 2.7 goals per game, they play the margins tight. Which is why I find it interesting they are favored in some games as its truly a toss up against most teams they go up against on a nightly basis. Their usual ace in the hole is Ilya Sorokin but he is 3-4 straight up this season with a 3.12 GAA, not the usual greatness. With the Wild as underdogs and rostering more talent I think the value is perfect for the upset and they should win on the road tonight.

Pick: Minnesota Wild Money Line (+105 on Caesars)
