As always, we have our main fantasy football waiver wire article that covers every position at the surface level. But Fantasy Alarm members often play in deep leagues that require additional levels of research and nuance. That’s where this article comes in. We take things a step further to look at those deep fantasy football streamers you might need to keep your team afloat. We also examine the top fantasy football stashes who might not be able to help us right now, but could contribute to a championship down the road.

Fantasy Football Streamers For 2025 NFL Week 3

What is a Streamer?

A streamer is a player that you can actually start in your lineup currently. They might not be the flashiest players, but they won’t get you a zero. In deeper leagues with a lot of starting spots, you may need to call on them from time to time - especially when bye weeks and injuries come around.

What is a Stash?

The stashes are players that have appealing upside for one reason or another, but aren’t reliable guys you can start now. Maybe they are injured, and you can put them in an IR spot. Maybe they are handcuffs that could have a big upside if the starter gets hurt. Maybe they are rookies who need time to develop and carve out a role. Whatever it is, we want to keep an eye on them. And stash them on deep benches.

Week 3 QB Streamers To Target

Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

Yahoo: 12% | ESPN: 7% | Sleeper: 17%

If you can’t get Daniel Jones or Jake Browning from the main article, there are still some streaming options out there. In shallow leagues, Trevor Lawrence could be out there, and he looked a lot better this week. Those guys might be tough to acquire, though, if your leagues are deep or active. Sam Darnold, on the other hand, might actually be out there. He’s coming off a game with 295 yards and 2 TD passes, where Jaxson Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp were both involved. And he gets the New Orleans Saints this week, which should be a fairly soft matchup. Mac Jones just carved them up for 279 and 3 TDs last week.

Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers

Yahoo: 3% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 5%

Speaking of Mac Jones, he stepped right into Kyle Shanahan’s offense and ran things pretty well. Arizona is a bit of a tougher match-up than New Orleans, but there’s a real chance that Jones is just once again solid. The benefit of a pass-catching RB like Christian McCaffrey is that you can just put the ball in his hands and let him turn a short pass into a long touchdown.

Best Week 3 Running Back Streamers

Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Yahoo: 36% | ESPN: 48% | Sleeper: 41%

For pass-catching backs, we like the guys from the main article in Kenneth Gainwell and Jeremy McNichols. But Rachaad White showed this week that he’s still going to be involved with this offense. Last year, he operated as the pass-down back and racked up over 1,000 yards from scrimmage. Bucky Irving is still the top guy, but White rotates in enough.

Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons

Yahoo: 30% | ESPN: 34% | Sleeper: 33%

Tyler Allgeier will permanently be listed in this article until his roster percentage goes above 50%. This team basically just has two RBs active every week, and he’s guaranteed touches, so he’s always a streaming option.

Justice Hill, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo: 3% | ESPN: 13% | Sleeper: 11%

Justice Hill generally plays a snap share in the 35-40% range, operating mostly on pass downs. And he almost always gets a couple of targets and carries in that capacity. If the game goes to a shootout of a negative game script for the Ravens, sometimes Hill gets even more work. They get the Lions this week and then the Chiefs next week, so Hill is an option for those games.

Top WR Streamers For Week 3

Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns

Yahoo: 39% | ESPN: 47% | Sleeper: 46%

Tillman is just kind of out there in leagues where you need him. He’s running just as many routes as Jerry Jeudy, getting just as many targets, and, so far, he’s been slightly more efficient. The wheels could fall off the Browns at any moment when they start tinkering with the quarterback position, but until then, Tillman is a guy you can throw right into lineups.

Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo: 38% | ESPN: 27% | Sleeper: 38%

Lamar Jackson can throw it to any guy on any play - that’s a product of his style of play. And, some games, they just run it heavily with Derrick Henry. This week, against the Detroit Lions, we could find ourselves in shootout land. The Lions like running more man-to-man defense than virtually any team in the league, and that could allow Bateman to sneak out for a big play. Worth a shot this week if you need him.

Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers

Yahoo: 17% | ESPN: 20% | Sleeper: 24%

With Jayden Reed out, Romeo Doubs is even more appealing as a streamer. This is a run-first team, and they have other guys they want to get the ball to, like Tucker Kraft and Matthew Golden, but Doubs is out there playing a big snap share and getting 4-5 targets a week.

Week 3 TE Streamers You Can Trust

Chig Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans

Yahoo: 31% | ESPN: 10% | Sleeper: 27%

As we mentioned in the main article, Chig is still one of the safest streamers out there. He’s playing a big snap share and offers a decent target floor with 10 targets over the first two weeks. You could do a lot worse in this environment.

Jake Tonges, San Francisco 49ers

Yahoo: 3% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 9%

A good tight end rarely gets hurt, then his backup just steps in and does what he does. And that’s not what we saw this week as Luke Farrell and Jake Tonges split duties to some degree. But Tonges is easily running more routes and, after getting 3 targets in Week 1 following the Kittle injury, he followed that up with 5 targets this week. Against Arizona and Jacksonville, he could be a deep league stream option if you are desperate.

Fantasy Football Stashes To Consider For 2025

Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants

Yahoo: 6% | ESPN: 5% | Sleeper: 13%

Russell Wilson did everything he could in this one. But we did see Dart take a few snaps in there, so the rumors might not all be rumors about them wanting him to play. The good news for those rooting for Dart is that, despite his best efforts, the Giants did lose this one in overtime. The win-loss column is the biggest thing working in Dart’s favor.

Spencer Rattler, QB, New Orleans Saints

Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 6%

We named Rattler as a stash in this article last week. And he came out and threw three touchdown passes. Almost as importantly, he once again ran four times. He might not be the fleetest of foot, but the willingness to run is almost more important than the ability at times. In very deep leagues and superflex leagues, he can be rostered.

Woody Marks, RB, Houston Texans

Yahoo: 6% | ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 14%

We mentioned him in the main article, but Woody Marks becomes our top RB to stash heading into Week 3. First, they made Dameon Pierce inactive, which was a good sign. Then, Marks got some snaps on the first drive, and that carried into the second drive. Nick Chubb still had the better fantasy day, but Marks was more efficient. He also contributed a 37-yard catch, which could see Marks eat into the role for Dare Ogunbowale on pass downs. This guy has a real path to actually taking over a starting job.

DJ Giddens, RB, Indianapolis Colts

Yahoo: 7% | ESPN: 3% | Sleeper: 15%

DJ Giddens is still one of the top handcuff plays. Right now, Jonathan Taylor is playing more snaps than any other back in the league. That’s not good news for the standalone value of Giddens, but it is good news for his upside if Taylor gets hurt.

Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Yahoo: 8% | ESPN: 5% | Sleeper: 14%

Blake Corum has actually carved out a little bigger role than he did last year. But Kyren Williams still played over 70% of the snaps. If anything happens to Kyren, Blake Corum becomes the guy. And we know Sean McVay is not afraid to load up his starting back with big workloads.

Christian Kirk, WR, Houston Texans

Yahoo: 34% | ESPN: 22% | Sleeper: 45%

Once again, no one stepped up after Nico Collins. Collins played 44 snaps; the next highest WR was Xavier Hutchinson at 28. There’s a real world where Christian Kirk steps back in and is the WR2, so we’re willing to stash him where we can.

Calvin Austin, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Yahoo: 21% | ESPN: 14% | Sleeper: 51%

We don’t trust this guy - yet. But he is playing a ton. In Week 1, he played 80% of the snaps, and this past week, he played 92%. And he’s now gotten 10 targets over those two games. That’s enough to keep an eye on or stash on the bench in deep leagues. When injuries and bye weeks start happening, you might not be able to circle back and grab a guy playing 90% of the snaps.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo: 12% | ESPN: 7% | Sleeper: 26%

Mark Andrews does not look good so far. He had a touchdown in his hands that he let get punched out by an opposing defender. We have to prepare for the possibility that Andrews is washed and that Likely really takes over as the primary pass-catching tight end this time around. Every week, they remove his IR eligibility before inevitably ruling him out, but I’m trying to keep him stashed in an IR spot where I can.

Darren Waller, TE, Miami Dolphins

Yahoo: 6% | ESPN: 13% | Sleeper: 11%

Look, it’s panic time in Miami. Coaches could get fired. Guys could get traded. I’ve seen crazier things happen. Jonnu Smith ran 70% of his routes from a WR spot, and they theoretically added Waller as a cheaper version of Jonnu. So there’s a chance Waller steps into a situation that could see volume on a team that has no choice but to throw.
