Who’s actually playing for Golden State is the first question we have to ask ourselves tonight. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Gary Payton II, and Andrew Wiggins are ALL out. Jordan Poole comes into this game in a groove scoring 23+ points in two straight games and that’s with most of those guys in the lineup. It’s hard to think the offense doesn’t start and end with Poole all evening long.

We can just see how monstrous Jonathan Kuminga’s numbers are when he’s given the run and tonight, the run he’ll get. Not only are all the Warriors' top dogs out, but now Otto Porter Jr. and Juan Toscano-Anderson are listed as questionable, meaning even MORE minutes for Kuminga if they’re sitting out. Kuminga, when given 30+ minutes, has averaged 20.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 steals. In the 20-29 minute window, he’s averaged 15.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He’s going to be one of the chalkiest plays of the slate.

(& anyone else active)

Look, the Warriors currently have 10 active players. I say currently because two of them – Juan Toscano-Anderson and Otto Porter Jr. – are listed as questionable, so 10 could be down to eight shortly. We should see Moses Moody start here and could possibly see Damion Lee in the starting lineup as well. I have interest in Kevon Looney, but not as a core piece, he doesn’t have massive scoring upside. Chris Chiozza played 27 minutes on February 1st and had 23.25 DKP.

With everyone out in Portland, Brandon Williams should start and play so many minutes here. Even with Anfernee Simons active last game, Williams played 27 minutes and scored 21 points and 26.5 DKP. He’s been a breath of fresh air off the Portland bench in terms os scoring lately as he’s scored 12+ points in four straight games and has 19.5 DKP or more in three straight. Minnesota is a bad defensive unit and this game will be played a fast pace.

I mean, Portland and Golden State make it REALLY easy to fit everyone into your lineups tonight. Trendon Watford is a little expensive on DraftKings but is free everywhere else. He’s coming off a double-double and has two straight games with at least 33 DKP. The Blazers did bring back Drew Eubanks on another 10-day contract, but that hasn’t impacted Watford’s minutes as he’s played 20+ in four straight and 30+ in two straight.

There are so many pieces in Minnesota missing or potentially missing and even if they play, how effective will they be if they’re banged up? Malik Beasley is a bucket. He’s put up 20+ minutes and 15+ actual points in three straight games and with Anthony Edwards not expected to play, no reason to think he won’t play 20 or more minutes again. He’s made three or more threes in five straight games and he should have NO problem getting wherever he wants on the floor against the Blazers.

Do you want a cheap value option with a lot of upside at likely low rostership? Look no further. Donte DiVincenzo has found his role with the Kings as the minutes in the last four games have gone 22, 25, 29, and 34. He’s put up 27+ DKP in all four games and only once over that span did he shoot better than 33%, which goes to show you the type of upside he has. He’s averaged .94 FP/min as a King and gets a great match-up against the Knicks who are 23rd in DRtg since February 1st.
