Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics (-2.5)

Game Total: 209

Game 1 of the EFC was an instant classic with the Heat prevailing in overtime thanks to Bam Adebayo 's block on what would have been Jayson Tatum 's game tying slam dunk. The Heat starting unit carried them in this game with Goran Dragic scoring a team high 29 points while Jae Crowder and Jimmy Butler both chipped in with 22 and 20 points as well. Off the bench Tyler Hero was an assist shy of a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. For the Celtics their rotation also largely relied upon their starters with Brad Wanamaker seeing the most run off the bench. Boston was lead by 30 points from Jayson Tatum who added 14 rebounds as well. Marcus Smart continued his hot shooting as he scored 26 points with three rebounds, one assist and two steals. Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker had their moment, Walker especially who hit the shot in regulation that looked to have given Boston the edge. Boston, despite the Game 1 loss comes into Game 2 as a 2.5-point favorite.

*Ranked in Order*

MVP/CPT

1.Marcus Smart , SG - Smart really brings the whole bag to the table at a discounted price of the elite plays. He scored 26 points in Game 1 and we know he has the upside to fill up the stat sheet as well. I like him on DK because you get the bonus for three-pointers which is the shot that Smart is mostly taking.

2.Bam Adebayo , C - Boston struggles against opposing centers and Bam's ability to fill up the stat sheet with rebounds, assists, blocks and points will bode nicely for his upside will getting the MVP bonus points here. In the 10 playoff games Miami has played this postseason Bam has gone for at least 40 FP in seven of them.

3. Jayson Tatum , PF - He's the most expensive player on the board and for obvious reasons as Tatum offers an upside that maybe only his counterpart in Jimmy Butler brings to the table. With my opinion that Butler is going to see a lot of Marcus Smart , I lean Tatum here.

Mid-Tier

1. Goran Dragic - Dragic has been an elite play for Miami, his scoring ability is second to only Jimmy Butler on this team and he has a great match up against Kemba Walker . Another 20+ point night should very well be in the cards.

2. Jaylen Brown - Though he looked a bit absent in Game 1, Brown is still capable for putting up some explosive fantasy production. His ability to fill the stat sheet is what gives him a nice fantasy floor. I think we see Brown a bit more aggressive in Game 2.

3. Kemba Walker - Walker again struggled for most of this game but towards the end he started getting his shots. It's possible that his knee is bothering him and that's the cause for struggles but he should be able to score on Dragic or Herro when they are the ones defending him.

Value Tier

1. Jae Crowder - Cheaper than Herro, Crowder has been on fire from three-point range dating back to the Bucks series and his ability to fill the stat sheet has given him at least 30 FP in five straight games. At some point the three-point shot isn't going to drop but until then we ride it out.

2. Tyler Herro  - Herro plays a ton of minutes off the bench and came through with a near triple-double in Game 1, falling just an assist shy. Is it likely he continues to rebound at that level? Probably not, but he can score the basketball and if he is going to play that many minutes he is definitely worth the look.

3. Daniel Theis - I wasn't a huge fan of this matchup for Theis going into the series as Bam is just too good but we did see Theis give you a little bit of everything before officially fouling out. Fouls are also a big flag with Theis but if he can stay out of foul trouble the 10+ points, 7+ rebounds with a block or two is in his bag.

Dart Throw

1. Duncan Robinson  - Robinson played just 17 minutes in Game 1 but still jacked up seven three-point shots. He hit just two of them but the man is not afraid to unleash. If more of those drop then he could hi1.

2. Brad Wanamaker - He saw 25 minutes in Game 1 and though he has played sporadically, when he has gotten at least 20 minutes during the playoffs the numbers haven't been too bad. He and I would add Robert Williams are my dart throw plays on the Celtics.
