Eric Bledsoe , PG NO ($4,100)
At this price, I’m not going to complain about rostering a starting point guard in a game with an expected over/under of 230. With Lonzo Ball sidelined, the majority of the workload is currently falling on Bledsoe’s shoulders and to start with, we know he is going play at least about 35 minutes tonight. So far this season it hasn’t always been clear what exactly that means as his offensive has been inconsistent. Two games ago, Bledsoe came through with 16 points and nine assists but he failed to match that the following day with 11 points and just two assists. Bledsoe certainly is capable of more but it’s unclear what version of the point guard we will see tonight. However, you could do a lot worse than taking a shot on him.
James Wiseman, C GS ($4,000)
If you are looking to save some money at the center position tonight, Wiseman is worthy of your attention. Over his last four games, Wiseman has played between 26 and 29 minutes so he is getting ample opportunity to show what he can do for the Warriors. In two of his last three games the rookie has had 13 field goal attempts which resulted in 11 and 18 points respectively as Wiseman looks to take the next steps. At this point, he requires a minimal investment as he also proves to be a capable rebounder with some level of upside.
Saddiq Bey, SF DET ($4,800)
If only we knew which Bey would show up tonight. It could be the Bey who scored three points in 36 minutes a few games ago or the Bey that put up 28 points a few games prior. The easy answer, and what generally has taken place for him so far this season is to expect somewhere in the middle for him, and for that he is priced accordingly with room for profit. In his last five games Bey is averaging 12.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for an average of 23 FD points. I’ll take that floor with room for more tonight as we know the playing time will be there.
DraftKings
Aleksej Pokusevski, SF OKC ($5,400)
The rookie is one minute shy of four straight games with greater than 30 minutes of playing time while registering between 20.5 and 35.25 DK points over that stretch. After being a consistent rebounder, Pokusevski has seen a drop in production over the last two games with just five in total but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him grab seven or eight rebounds tonight while once again taking double digit shots. I wouldn’t be a expecting a 48 DK fantasy point performance again, but it’s not a crazy lift to see him at the 30-to-35-point mark.
Reggie Jackson , PG LAC ($4,400)
Seeing Jackson score 28 points two games ago certainly was a nice touch, but that’s not something we can plan on happening once again. What we can expect though is double-digit scoring with a few assists and the knowledge of that offensive upside as he plays around 30 minutes per game in the Clippers’ starting lineup. Under these circumstances, there is plenty of room for profit.
Derrick Rose , PG NY ($4,900)
After missing a slew of games thanks to COVID-19, Rose returned on Saturday and while it was clear he was working to find his footing, the point guard still played a respectable 29 minutes. There was no time wasted as Rose attempted 15 shots although he struggled to find his groove scoring just 13 points while grabbing only one assist. After a game to shake the rust off, I would expect Rose to be more productive tonight.
