Sunday NBA Action is set with five games, and they begin at 3:00 PM ET. The Phoenix Suns play in back-to-back road games, and begin the NBA day against the Detroit Pistons. The Toronto Raptors play the San Antonio Spurs with a 3:30 PM ET tip-off. The current tightest betting line is the Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers, with a spread of 1.5 points currently in favor of the Cavs. The Charlotte Hornets play in back-to-back road games, traveling to Dallas for a 7:30 PM ET tip-off. It is the largest spread, with a 11.5 point spread in favor of Dallas. Capping off the night is a rematch of a Friday game that went into overtime and was full of excitement, the Memphis Grizzlies seek their first win of the season against the Portland Trail Blazers. Tonight’s bets feature a prop bet, and a couple straight bets in the evening.

BET OF THE NIGHT

Jalen Duren (DET) OVER 10.5 Rebounds (+100) DraftKings Sportsbook

Jalen Duren started the season as the hottest rebounder in the league, but after an injury has not grabbed ten rebounds. To be fair he hasn’t played over 25 minutes in the last two games, and they were losing in both games. However, he is still averaging over 11 rebounds per game, is coming off of two days of full rest, and playing on his home court. These factors, plus more playing time, should benefit the young big man. Phoenix is injured, lacks quality depth at center, and is playing the second of back-to-back road games. As long as Duren gets close to thirty minutes, this prop bet should hit with ease. There will not be too many opportunities to get plus odds on a starting center to get below his season average this season… take advantage.

Golden State Warriors Moneyline (+100) MGM

The Golden State Warriors travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers. At one point this was a full lock to be the championship game. Four consecutive times these teams met in the finals, and although a great deal of the rivalry is attributed to LeBron James, no one on the cleveland 2018 roster remains. There are four Warriors remaining from the 2018 championship roster; Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Kevon Looney. There is only one questionable injury as of now, Ty Jerome (CLE) with an ankle sprain. If the Warriors are at full strength it would be difficult for the Cavaliers to keep pace, even with Jarrett Allen returning to the lineup. The Cavs are favorites, and the bookies may have more information on the game. However the Warriors are playing championship level basketball and the Cavaliers are not. It is not everyday a team with a 5-1 record gets even odds against a team with a losing record, place a unit on the dynasty.

Memphis Grizzlies 1st Half Moneyline (-135)

The Memphis Grizzlies are who we thought they were. A team in major transition, without four of their starters from last year. They have played some tough defense this season, but fall short at the end of several games. They are playing the Portland Trail Blazers for the second consecutive game, but it is not back-to-back which will benefit the Grizzlies. Memphis had this game wrapped up on Fridiay, but the Trailblazers battled back, forcing overtime and easily winning in extra time. The Grizzlies have to come out with intensity and are favored on the half moneyline as well as the full game moneyline. Starting 0-6 is simply unacceptable for the professional level, and if they go 0-7 it would be demoralizing. Marcus Smart, Desmond Bane, Zaire Williamson, David Roddy, and Jaren Jackson Jr. should play with pride and have a great start.
