GuardsSteve Blake, PG (LAL)–The Lakers expect to have backup point guard Steve Blake back in action sometime in January after undergoing successful surgery to repair a torn abdominal muscle. With the return of Steve Nash, the Lakers will likely not rush Blake back to action, so his recovery may take longer than expected. Chauncey Billups, PG (LAC)--The Clippers have yet to set a timetable for Chauncey Billups' return to action after he sustained a foot injury last week. The injury is considered peroneal tendinitis, which will require therapy, so in weekly leagues it would be wise to avoid him until more news is released on the extent of the injury.Ben Gordon, SG (CHA)--After missing his second straight game on Saturday, the Bobcats consider Ben Gordon questionable for the team's next game on Wednesday against the Heat. Gordon is dealing with a knee injury, but is appears to be not at serious that originally reported, so another day of rest could be all he needs to return to action.Devin Harris, PG (ATL)--After missing the team's last three games due to a foot injury, there is a good chance that Devin Harris misses the Hawks next game on December 26. The injury does not appear to be getting any better anytime soon, so those in weekly leagues may want to consider other options.Ty Lawson, PG (DEN)--Although Ty Lawson's recent injury does not appear to be serious, but the Nuggets consider him to be questionable for the team's next game on Christmas Day. Lawson was forced out of Staurday's game after suffering an Achilles injury, but considering the way the team handled the injury, he should not be out for an extended period of time.  Kevin Martin, SG (OKC)--After missing the team's last game due to a quadriceps injury, Kevin Martin is expected to be back in action on Christmas Day when the Thunder take on the Heat. The news about Martin came after he was able to practice on Sunday, so unless something drastic happens on Monday, owners should get him back in starting lineups.Wesley Matthews, SG (POR)--The Trail Blazers may be without the services of Wesley Matthews for Wednesday's game against the Kings after he was unable to participate in the team's last game on Sunday. He is dealing with a hip injury, but it does not appear to be serious enough to keep him out of the lineup for an extended period of time.Kyle Lowry, PG (TOR)--The Raptors expect to have the services of Kyle Lowry some point this week, but it is unclear exactly which game he will return. Lowry suffered a triceps injury two weeks ago and was replaced by Jose Calderon in the starting lineup, but expect him to return to the starting lineup once active.Mo Williams, PG (UTA)--After suffering a thumb injury, the Jazz don't expect to have Mo Williams back in their lineup before early January. Those in weekly leagues should consider other options for this week and beyond considering there has been no timetable set for his return.Avery Bradley, PG (BOS)–There is a chance that Avery Bradley returns to action on Christmas Day when the Celtics take on the Nets. Bradley has yet to play this season after undergoing shoulder surgery in the offseason, so be sure to monitor his status leading up to Tuesday's game.Tyreke Evans, SG (SAC)–The Kings have already ruled out Tyreke Evans for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers as he continues to deal with a knee injury. Evans hasn't played with December 16 and the way it is looking, he probably won't be on the court until after the new year.Eric Gordon, SG (NOR)–The Hornets believe that they can have the services of Eric Gordon back in their lineup sometime in the next week or so, now that he has been practicing for over a week. Gordon has yet to play this season due to knee and quad injuries, but is now in the process of conditioning himself for his return to the team. Richard Hamilton, SG (CHI)–The Bulls received some good news over the weekend, when shooting guard Richard Hamilton began to run on the foot that he injured in the first game of December. It is unclear exactly when he is going to return, but the team has reported that he only needs a few more practices to get to full strength.Derrick Rose, PG (CHI)–The Bulls continue to be cautious with Derrick Rose while be continues to rehab from knee surgery, but they expect to have him back for the second half of the season. Late January is probably a good guess for when he will return to action, so those in daily leagues should consider stashing him now if he is available. Brandon Roy, SG (MIN)–The Timberwolves had Brandon Roy back in practice last week, and is now targeting the end of December as a possible return for him. Roy underwent knee surgery back in November, but appears to be close to returning despite it not being his first surgery on that knee.John Wall, PG (WAS)–The timetable for John Wall’s return was slated for late November, but that did not happen after a few setbacks. Although it is now the end of December, it doesn't look like he is going to play before the New Year, so owner's should keep him out of starting lineups until there is a clear indication he is ready to return.ForwardsJeff Green, PF (BOS)--The Celtics consider Jeff Green questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets after he took an elbow to the face in the team's last game. He is dealing with face and tooth injuries, both of which are not serious, but it may keep him out for at least one game, so be sure to monitor his status prior to tip-off.Tayshaun Prince, SF (DET)--The Pistons may be without the services of Tayshaun Prince in their next game on Wednesday after he was forced out of Saturday's game due to an ankle injury. The extent of the injury is unclear at this point, but it does not appear to be too serious so owners should be able to use him this week.Patrick Patterson, PF (HOU)--The Rockets received some bad news on Patrick Patterson, as he is expected to miss at least two more weeks of action. Patterson is dealing with a foot injury he sustained last week, which is being considered a bone bruise, so owners really dodged a bullet considering it could have been a more serious injury.Kevin Love, PF (MIN)--Although he missed the team's last game on Sunday, the Timberwolves expect to have Kevin Love back in their lineup in a few days. For now, Love is considered questionable for Wednesday's game after suffering an eye injury, but he is not expected to miss an extended period of time.Glen Davis, PF (ORL)--The Magic received some bad news last week when they found out that Glen Davis would be out until at least late January with a shoulder injury. He will need to strengthen the area around his shoulder before being able to return to action, so it may take longer than originally expected.Andrea Bargnani, PF (TOR)--After suffering a torn elbow ligament, the Raptors don't expect to have Andrea Bargnani back in action until early January. Although that timetable may be a bit loose, more information will have to surface before giving any advice on his availability.Danny Granger, SF (IND)–Things aren’t looking good for Danny Granger and his fantasy owners, as he is expected to miss three months after suffering a knee injury. Originally, Granger expected to play through the pain, but the injury is more serious than expected so now we have to wait and see how he comes along in his rehab before setting a timetable for his return. Grant Hill, SF (LAC)–The Clippers have yet to determine a timetable for Gran Hill’s return to game action as he continues to deal with a bone bruise in his right knee. His role will be limited once he returns to the team, but he has shown in the past that he can do a lot with the least amount of opportunities. Amare Stoudemire, PF (NYK)–The Knicks are hoping to have Amare Stoudemire back in game action by early January when his knee is fully healthy. The team has done great without him so far this season, so hopefully he won't mess up the chemistry on the team once he returns.Tyrus Thomas, PF (CHA)–The Bobcats will be without the services of Tyrus Thomas after to was revealed that he will miss at least two months with a torn Plantaris muscle. Luckily for Thomas, the injury will not require surgery, but it is going to be a long and vigir0us recovery period, so to see him back in action in two months is a long shot.CentersAnderson Varejao, C (CLE)--The Cavaliers are considering Anderson Varejao questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards as he continues to deal with a minor knee injury. Varejao has sat out the team's last three games with the same injury, but it does not appear like anything owners will have to worry about long term.Jonas Valanciunas, C (TOR)--The Raptors will be without the services of Jonas Valanciunas until at least early January after suffering a finger injury. He has shown flashes of fantasy value in his rookie season, so hopefully this injury will not set him back too much once he returns.Andrew Bogut, C (GS)–The Warriors decided to shut down Andrew Bogut  as he continues to deal with the aftermath of ankle surgery. The earliest he will return to the Warriors starting lineup would be by late December, but at this point that does not appear to be likely. Andrew Bynum, C (PHI)–It doesn’t look like the Sixers will have Andrew Bynum back on the court any time soon as the team announced that they are being cautious with releasing a return date from his right knee bruise. The injury originally didn’t appear to be serious, but it doesn’t appear he is getting any better and could be out until after the New Year. Byron Mullens, C (CHA)--After suffering an ankle injury in the Bobcat's last game, the team is now considering Bryon Mullens as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Heat. Mullens has taken a step forward in is progression as a starting center, so hopeful this injury will not set him back once he returns.
