Adrian Beltre has, yet again, been a monster. Seems like he will never age. Over his last 57 games, since the All-Star Game, Beltre is batting .321 with a .383 OBP and .624 SLG. That’s a 1.007 OPS with 18 homers and 42 RBI for the Rangers’ third sacker. I don’t know how many of you have noticed, but he’s up to a .297 average and 30 homers with 97 RBI. His last .300-30-100 season was back in 2012. By the by… Beltre has 30 homer and just 56 strikeouts this season. Three men have tripled that strikeout mark: Chris Davis 199, Chris Carter 183 and Mike Napoli 178. Just amazing in his 19th season.

Complain all you want about Carlos Correa, but the second year player has 19 homers, 12 steals, 90 RBI and 70 runs scored. He will likely be undervalued next season after being overvalued this season.

I like using the toilet as much as the next guy, my Squatty Potty is awesome, but a gold toilet?

Khris Davis has 37 homers, 10 more than he’s ever hit before. He’s three homers away from the magical total of 40, and he’s also six RBI from 100. He’d never been to 70 ribbies before. Hell of a first season with the Athletics, even if he’s batting .250 with a pathetic .303 OBP.

Lucas Duda will be activated Saturday for the Mets. It sounds like in his return from a back issue all he will be asked to do is pinch hit. Pay him no attention the rest of the way.

Paul Goldschmidt is batting .301 with a .419 OBP, tremendous numbers. He’s also gone 20/25. Tremendous numbers again. However, he has just 20 homers and 84 RBI, below expectations for the superstar first baseman.

Yan Gomes season is over as he’s has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his right hand. He will end the year with a .165-8-32 line over 249 at-bats. Woeful isn’t a strong enough descriptor about how hideous Gomes performed.

Ryon Healy has pretty quietly put together a hell of a first season with the Athletics. Through 56 games Ryon has hit .309 with a .344 OBP and .525 SLG leading to a .869 OPS. Jake Lamb has a .871 OPS this season by the way. Healy only has 10 walks, terrible, but his 18.5 percent K-rate plays. Dab in some patience and this guy could be mighty productive next season.

Could this guy really be 145 years old?

Matt Kemp is one run batted in from a 30-100 season.

Nick Markakis has 84 RBI. That’s more than Ryan Braun (83), Wil Myers (81), Chris Davis (81) and Bryce Harper (81). Speaking of Harper, he’s gone 24/21 with 81 RBI and 82 runs scored, but his owners are massively disappointed with his slash line (.246/.380/.453).

Speaking of toilets, if you lived in Rome you would have been sharing a sponge in public toilets. There was no toilet paper back then, so use your imagination. Yeah, exactly. Gross. Filthy. Putrid. Nauseating. All of that.

Daniel Murphy has no homers and just four RBI his last 12 games. He’s hitting .422 with a .441 wOBA in that time though. Do you folks realize that he’s still batting .348 with 25 homers, 102 RBI and 88 runs scored? That’s a massive, out of control season. What a difference maker.

Corey Seager is batting .347 with a .401 wOBA since the All-Star Game. In his first full season he’s been exactly as advertised as he’s been exactly what Troy Tulowitzki used to be. Seager is batting .316 with 25 homers and 96 runs scored. Too bad he has just 69 RBI, though, obviously, no one is complaining about that.

Jorge Soler was forced from game action Friday with tightness in his right side. Ugh. Terrible timing for Soler who was crushing it since being recalled. Over the last 32 games he was hitting .278 with a .359 OBP and seven homers leading to a .556 SLG. Oh well. Let’s just hope he isn’t down for the rest of the regular season.

George Springer stole 45 bases in 2013 at Double and Triple-A. He’s stolen 30 bases in three seasons with the Astros including just nine on 19 attempts this season. Folks, he’s not even been successful on half his steal attempts this season. That’s dreadful.

Giancarlo Stanton is back in the lineup for the Marlins beating the expected timetable to return from his groin injury. I can’t think it’s wise to expect much from him at this point but with his upper body strength, even if his lower half is compromised, he could still take some pitches deep.

Speaking of toilets part III… your toilet habits could be predicted by astrology.

Mark Trumbo has blasted 14 homers in 58 second half games. Everyone will take that. However, that’s all he has done in the second half. Over his last 58 games Trumbo has hit .181 with a .262 OBP and .414 SLG. He’s pretty much stopped hitting, other than blasting the odd long ball. Was always gonna happen. The slump has dropped his average to .248 on the year, two points below his career rate. He’s also hit 42 homers with 100 RBI and 86 runs scored. The runs are a career best, the homers a career best and the next RBI will be a career best.

Anyone notice that Melvin Upton has 20 homers and 26 steals?

Joey Votto is batting .418 with 42 RBI and 41 runs scored his last 55 games. Just remarkable.
