DraftKings Recommended Lineup Week 8

Ready to turn $5 into $50k? @DraftKings is giving you the chance now, and it’s through one-day fantasy football games http://bit.ly/17fdiMC

All lineups are based off of a $50,000 salary cap featured at DraftKings, you best option in daily fantasy sports gaming. Lineups consist of a quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end,, one FLEX one kicker and one team defense.

QB: Robert Griffin III (WAS) @ DEN--$8,000--Following a few weeks of sub-par fantasy performances, Robert Griffin exploded in Week 7, going off for 27.32 fantasy points, which was his highest total of the season. This week he faces off against a very weak Broncos defense, that has allowed the most fantasy points per game (22.1 FPPG) to opposing quarterbacks. The Redskins passing offense has taken a serious step in the right direction, with the emergence of Jordan Reed and the steading play from Pierre Garcon, so idealy, Griffin should be one of the top quarterbacks in Week 8 based on the very favorable matchup.

RB: Eddie Lacy (GB) @ MIN--$6,100--Since Aaron Rodgers has been under center for the Packers, the team has been known for it's passing game, not their running game. Well, times have changed, as Eddie Lacy has now given the team a new dynamic in their offensive attack. Over the last three weeks, Lacy has 22-plus carries, which has resulted in an average of just over 100 rushing yards per game. This week Lacy has the best matchup among all running backs, with the Vikings allowed 30.6 FPPG to opposing running backs on DraftKings. His price tag is very reasonable, so when you factor in the matchup as well, you really can't go wrong with Lacy this week.

RB: Le'Veon Bell (PIT) @ OAK--$5,800--Now that Bell has a few games under his belt, it is now time to hold him accountable for his performance on the field. Going up against a tough Ravens defense in Week 7, Bell finished the game with 93 rushing yards on a 19 carries, while adding one reception for six yards. The Raiders defense has been decent against opposing running backs, but Bell has been given at least 19 touches per game through his first three games, so we know he is going to get enough opportunities to be a fantasy stud. Considering the price, there is a good chance Bell gives his owners a great return on investment.

WR: Jordy Nelson (GB) @ MIN--$7,300--The Packers passing game will be without Randall Cobb, Jermichael Finley and most likely James Jones on Sunday night, leaving Nelson as Aaron Rodgers' top option. Last week Nelson was shutdown by Joe Haden, but that will not he the case this week going up against an average of 39.5 FPPG to opposing wide receivers through six games. Even when all the Packers receivers were healthy, Nelson was averaging 7.5 targets per game, and with three of them out of action, he will likely receive well over 10 targets in this week's contest. If Nelson's price tag is too high, consider using Jarrett Boykin, who comes in at $4,500. No matter what if it is DraftKings or not, either Nelson or Boykin should be in your starting lineups this week.

WR: Pierre Garcon (WAS) @ DEN--$6,200--The Broncos may have the best offense in all of football, but their defense has been nothing to talk about. Through seven games, the Broncos have allowed 42.2 FPPG to opposing wide receivers on DraftKings, on 213.6 receiving yards and one touchdown per game. Garcon hasn't found the endzone the last few weeks, and because of his last few performances, his price tag has dropped enough to make him a great value this week, paired with Robert Griffin. Despite his under whelming stats the last three games, Garcon still ranks fourth in the league in targets per game, sitting at 11.2 TPG, so he is still getting his looks. If you plan on using Griffin, Garcon makes for a great play this week.

TE: Jordan Reed (WAS) @ DEN--$4,300--The Redskins passing game has taken a big step forward over the last few weeks, and a lot of that credit has to be given to the emergence of Reed. In his Week 7 breakout performance, Reed finished with nine catches for 134 yards and a touchdown, as he continues to get better week by week. In Week 8, Reed will be matched up against the Broncos defense that has allowed the seventh most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, at 16.0 FPPG. This contest is likely going to be a shootout, considering how bad both teams have been on the defensive side of the ball, so a repeat of last week is not out of the question.

FLEX: Larry Fitzgerald (ARI) vs. ATL--$6,200--Due to inconsistency from Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, Fitzgerald's price tag has taken a hit over the last few weeks. With that said, he is not priced in the "value" category and this week is a great week to take advantage of the discount. The Falcons defense has been terrible this season, especially against the pass. Through six games, the Falcons are averaging 36.1 FPPG to opposing wide receivers on 195.7 receiving yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game. We saw Mike Glennon and Vincent Jackson destroy the Falcons secondary a week ago, so why can't Palmer and Fitzgerald? I expect Fitzgerald to be utilized heavily in this contest, especially considering how much better the Cardinals play when they are the host.

K: Garrett Hartley (NO) vs. BUF--$3,800--The Saints have now had two weeks to linger over the upsetting loss to the Patriots from Week 6 and will be out to prove a point, leading to what should be a very high scoring game. The Bills defense has allowed 10 FPPG to opposing kickers so far this season, which ranks them near the bottom in the category. Hartley is averaging 12.6 FPPG on the year, but it is his kicking in the Superdome that really sold me on him this week. In four home games, Hartley has put up totals of 20, 16, 8 and 20, so there is reason to think he should be able to be in that range again in a favorable matchup.

DEF: Philadelphia Eagles Defense/Special Teams vs. NYG--$2,300--This is clearly not an ideal defensive group to use this week, but considering how bad the Giants played last time around, there is reason for optimism. In Week 5, the Eagles finished with nine fantasy points on three interceptions, one fumble recovery and one sack. What hurt them was the fact that they allowed 21 points in the contest, but similar production could be expected for the price you would be paying to use this group. Like I said, this isn't the ideal group, as I anticipate the rest of my roster carrying the load for my weak defensive selection.
