Welcome back to our second edition of Boom Fantasyâs NFL question breakdown! HEREÂ is our contest link #FANation
QBâs
Question one starts off with the quarterbacks and who between Dak Prescott and Carson Palmer will in fact throw more TDâs on Monday Night Football? Itâs tough envisioning Prescott throwing the ball 50 times again because itâs unlikely Dallas trails for much of this game. Expect a heavy dose of Zeke Elliott in this one. Palmer, likely being the QB that will be trailing for most of the game, will be airing it out. Heâs always a high volume guy to begin with, which is a huge reason why heâs the big favorite here.

RB's
This next question is almost too easy, but, itâs sports and they can be so random at times. Weâre asked who between Ezekiel Elliott, Chris Johnson, Kerwynn Williams and Dak Prescott will accrue the most rushing yards? We have two starters in Elliott in Johnson, a backup in Williams who will play sparingly since CJ2K is now the featured back and Andre Ellington is their 3rd down back, and Dak Prescott..a QB. After a 0 yard performance last week, the Dallas offense is most likely going to run and run and run some more versus Arizona tonight. Dallas did, by the way, rank first against the run in 2016 and although they were torched by C.J. Anderson last week, theyâre still a very respectable front seven.
Â
Receptions
Jaron Brown heads the field for question three when weâre asked who will have the most receiving yards for tonightâs game. Brown saw 11 targets in Week 2 with John Brown sidelined. Brownâs hurt and last weekâs star, J.J. Nelson, is also considered a game-time decision. If Nelson canât go, Brown will be a focal point of the Cards passing attack. Brown is followed by Cole Beasley, Terrance Williams and Jermaine Gresham in that order. Beasley has been targeted 13 times this season while Williams had 12 passes thrown his way. The latter has picked up more yards, but Beasley coming out of the slot on Monday smells like a big night. Williams will likely get matched up against Patrick Patterson at times and weâd like to avoid that at all costs.
Sticking with the pass catchers, we chug along from receiving yards to receptions. The ageless wonder of the world in Jason Witten is favorited here and is being chased by J.J. Nelson, Ezekiel Elliott and Andre Ellington. Witten and Prescott have a fantastic rapport and if Prescott needs to move the chains, Wittenâs his guy. The otherâs are definitely interesting as well. I would have never thought Zeke would have 10 targets through two games, but here we are. Theyâre looking to get the ball in his hands as much as possible, but I see the volume coming on the ground in this one, not so much in the air. Nelson is injured as we touched on for question three, so who knows if heâll even play. He practiced on a limited basis Thursday-Saturday so if he goes, heâll likely be Carson Palmerâs go-to WR like he was in Week 2. Ellington is also intriguing due to the simple fact that heâs the Cardinals third-down and primary pass catching RB. If the Cardinals are playing catchup in this one, weâll see a lot more Ellington than Chris Johnson in all likelihood.Â
Â
Touchdowns
Both Jason Witten and J.J. Nelson have two receiving touchdowns this year while Jaron Brown and Cole Beasley have a big old zero. Witten has already seen four red zone targets this year, so itâs almost shocking not to see him as the favorite here. Itâs hard to trust someone like Beasley in this spot with the 10 targets Dez Bryant and Jason Witten have combined for in the RZ while they have a monster in the backfield that could potentially score multiple TDâs himself.
Â
NFL/MLB Hybrid
This weekâs hybrid question incorporates the kickers and made fields and two players at Coors Field and their total bases. Itâs really, really hard to pick against Giancarlo Stanton or Nolan Arenado in this matchup. Both have great matchups against their opponents and are almost homer locks. Bailey is definitely the safest play on the board.
Â
Recieving Yards
The final two questions are single player questions, a Boom Fantasy staple! Larry Fitzgeraldâs receiving yard total is set at just 47 and I think the over is strongly in play here. If J.J. Nelson canât go, Fitzgerald get a big bump. Iâve said it at nausea this whole article that the expectation is that the Cardinals will be playing from behind a lot in this matchup. Des Bryantâs total of 51 yards isnât much higher, and we think the over in this one is also strongly in play. Heâs going to see a lot of Patrick Peterson, which is obviously one of the reasons weâre seeing such a low total, but Bryant is an elite talent that could notch 51 yards on one play alone.
