Ten weeks in yet position groups are STILL changing every week.  This article serves as a refresher each week for who did what, who played where, and which guys teams are leaning on.  Let’s dive in!

As a reminder, this year we have a brand new tool that lets you not only look at this week's snaps but the total snaps on the year and percentage played by each player.  On top of that you can sort by team or position to see how your guy stacks up!

The best way to consume this article is to have that tool open in another window and then sort by “team” which will automatically sort the players from most to least snaps.  Then in this article I'll give an explanation as to what happened as well as some additional underlying stats (slot snaps, pass blocking snaps etc.) and what sort of actionable data we can extract to help us win our leagues.

49ers

WR: Here’s all you need to know - 21 of 21 routes run for Aiyuk, 20 of 21 for Deebo.  The rest of the WRs just aren’t involved enough.

RB:  Maybe the goal line carry for Deebo makes more sense now that we find out Elijah Mitchell broke his finger.  Jeff Wilson would be your next best bet if Mitchell can’t go.

TE: George Kittle is back and life is good.

Bills

WR: Diggs and Sanders paced the WRs as always.  Apparently Cole Beasley has been dealing with a rib injury so Gabriel Davis got some extended snaps.  Expect Beasley to take his snap share back in more competitive games.

RB:  Zack Moss is the preferred back here on most occasions though in games like this they spread the work out.  No reason not to in a blowout.

TE:  We were worried about Dawson Knox’s workload coming off an injury but he actually played a full snap share.  The even more concerning aspect was how much he pass blocked and how little he was used in the pass attack.

Browns

WR: Anthony Schwartz left with a concussion so they went to multi-TE sets.  When healthy, it’s Schwartz, Peoples-Jones and Landry.

RB: No Nick Chubb or Kareem Hunt meant it was the D’Ernest Johnson show.  Even in a blowout he managed 100 yards.  This run game is locked and loaded.

TE: Once again just a mess in terms of who gets the reps.  No one ever gets more than ~50% or so of the pass plays.

Buccaneers

WR: Mike Evans and Chris Godwin full snap shares, Tyler Johnson the 3rd guy in.  When AB returned, just swap him for Johnson.

RB: Leonard Fournette, full steam ahead.  Gio Bernard mixed in a little pass work but that’s about it.

TE: Brate gets more pass work (28 routes) than OJ Howard (15).  That’s the world we live in until Gronk gets back.

Broncos

Cardinals

WR: No Hopkins meant big snap shares for Christian Kirk again.  Kirk kept his primary slot role while AJ Green and Antoine Wesley played on the outside.  Rondale Moore only played 18 snaps.

RB: With Chase Edmonds out, it’s heavy James ConnerEno Benjamin doesn’t play enough to factor in for fantasy.

TE: Zach Ertz tied Wesley for the 2nd most pass snaps after Kirk and played one more than Green (29-28).  He’s a low upside but decent floor option.

Cowboys

WR: Michael Gallup slid right back into the lineup playing a decent snap share and collecting some targets.  CeeDee Lamb left with an arm contusion deemed to not be too serious.

RB:  Zeke gets the high leverage work and Tony Pollard spells him.  That’s the drill.

TE: With Blake Jarwin out, Sean McKeon played the second TE role but only ran 11 routes.  Schultz is the only viable option now.

Chargers

WR: Mike Williams and Keenan Allen are both playing a ton of snaps but Williams has not produced as of late.  Josh Palmer played just as many snaps as Jalen Guyton so we may be seeing a bit of a changing of the guard.

RB:  Austin Ekeler is the only RB that matters in this group.

TE: Jared Cook took back his workload after a bit of a split last week - 26 pass snaps for Cook, 10 for Parham, 6 for McKitty.

Chiefs

WR: Tyreek Hill led per usual.  If you are looking like the next safest to actually start right now, that would be Byron PringleJosh Gordon quietly remains the most intriguing if he can ever find the old magic.

RB:  The backup RB scare seems to be over as Darrell Williams played the most snaps on both pass and run downs once again.  McKinnon mixed in for 15 pass snaps.

TE:  Travis. Kelce.

Colts

WR:  TY Hilton is just not full ramped up it seems - either that or they have him on the Antonio Brown snap limit plan.  Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal play full snap shares (a la Mike Evans and Chris Godwin).

RB: Jonathan Taylor has done it - he made himself so valuable on both pass and run downs that he’s no longer giving up more pass snaps than run snaps.

TE: Mo Alie-Cox (17 routes), Jack Doyle (16), Kylen Granson (5).  Out of 36 pass plays.  Not enough.

Dolphins

WR:  Jaylen Waddle is the man until DeVante Parker and Will Fuller get back.  Albert Wilson is the next best option until then.  Preston Williams is dust.

RB: Myles Gaskin has run away with this role which we like to see for fantasy football.  No more timeshares.

TE:  Gesicki doing what Gesicki does - 48 snaps at WR, only 5 in-line.  No other TE is relevant.

Eagles

WR: With Dallas Goedert out with a concussion, they leaned into the three wide sets.  Quez Watkins, DeVonta Smith, and Jalen Reagor all ran 24-25 routes.

RB: What a nightmare backfield this is.  Howard and Scott split the run work.  Kenneth Gainwell played 14 pass snaps which was more than Howard and Scott combined.  Three way split...

TE: As of Wednesday, Dallas Goedert is still in concussion protocol.  Jack Stoll played more snaps but converted QB Tyree Jackson’s role skewed slightly more passing.  Neither better than a shot in the dark DFS play.

Falcons

WR: This team is a mess right now.  Russell Gage and Tajae Sharpe are the best options.  Olamide Zaccheaus lags behind.

RB: Cordarelle Patterson has an ankle injury but they didn’t just give the game to Mike Davis - Wayne Gallman stepped in to split the work.  Kind of crushes any upside for Davis.  Patterson will be a game-time decision it seems.

TE: With Hayden Hurst banged up, Kyle Pitts played a slightly higher percentage of his snaps in-line than usual but he still only pass blocked twice which is no more than usual.  The injury has no effect on Pitts really - the absence of Ridley is still the big problem.

Giants

Jaguars

WR: Jamaal Agnew has clearly carved himself out a slot role though the return of James O’Shaughnessy will take snaps from somewhere.  It’s Laviska Shenault and Marvin Jones on the outside.

RB: James Robinson is back and it’s the James Robinson show once again.

TE: Good deployment for Dan Arnold once again - didn’t pass block once and ran 36 routes.  Would love to see him out there for all 45 routes though.  And the return of James O does make us slightly nervous.

Jets

WR: As we feared, the veterans Corey Davis and Jamison Crowder played the full snap shares.  Elijah Moore was next but he only played 43 of 77 snaps.  Too much rotating.

RB: Michael Carter is the guy but it’s worth noting that Ty Johnson got 3 targets and a carry in the hurry up offense compared to one carry for Carter.

TE: Ryan Griffin on paper had pretty good deployment but in the box score he didn’t do a whole lot for ya.  Random DFS dar throw at best.

Lions

WR: As expected, open tryouts at WR rolls on.  This week it was Trinity Benson, Kalif Raymond, and Amon-Ra St. Brown

RB: D’Andre Swift played the vast majority of meaningful snaps yet on their combined seven snaps, Godwin Igwebuike and Jermar Jefferson each scored.  Go figure.

TE: TJ Hockenson is getting the deployment we expect - he led the team in routes run.  Just not his game in a tough matchup.

Packers

WR: Davante Adams is the only WR to play pretty much every snap.  Randall Cobb, MVS, and Lazard rotated to some degree making them risky plays.

RB: Aaron Jones got banged up and he’s likely to miss a couple weeks minimum.  AJ Dillon is the guy and it looks like Patrick Taylor will spell him.

TE: As of this moment, there is no fantasy relevant TE in Green Bay.  If you are in a 30 team league and need someone, anyone, go with Josiah Deguara

Panthers

WR: It’s a shame to see Terrace Marshall’s snap share retreat as much as it has since his concussion but perhaps they are being cautious.  DJ Moore and Robby Anderson are the only relevant WRs for now.

RB: Christian McCaffrey is the man - Chuba got mop up work.

TE:  Neither are running enough routes to matter for fantasy as of yet.  I’ll let you know if that changes.

Patriots

WR: Jakobi Meyers got his full workload and he finally punched it in! Good for him.  Nelson Agholor played his second snap share.  The really interesting one is Kendrick Bourne playing 29 snaps and running 21 routes while N’Keal Harry played 34 snaps and ran 11 routes.  He must have gone to the Willie Snead School of Split Guard.

RB:  With Damien Harris out, Rhamondre Stevenson took on the full job and performed admirably.  Could be interesting to see if they split it up.  Or annoying for fantasy.

TE:  Hunter Henry is the tight end of choice here but he’s not capturing a huge target share.  Locked in for standard and half PPR leagues.

Raiders

WR: This has been officially established - Byran Edwards, Zay Jones, and Hunter Renfrow

RB:  Josh Jacobs got more work on run and pass downs.  Ugly situation for Drake.

TE:  Darren Waller is still the guy given his deployment and targets.  It’s difficult to go away from him but teams are also keying on him.

Rams

WR:  In the end it will be Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham Jr. and Van Jefferson we expect.  But keep an eye on Ben Skowronek

RB:  Darrell Henderson gets the bulk of the work in both phases. He’s the guy.

TE: Tyler Higbee looked dead in the water but then Robert Woods hurt his knee.  He’ll end up in  a similar situation behind two top WRs when all is said and done.

Ravens

WR:  Despite the snap totals, the routes run were Marquise Brown (46), Rashod Bateman (34), Devin Duvernay (32).  That is the most relevant info for us.

RB:  The Le’Veon Bell experiment is over.  It should be Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray moving forward.

TE: Mark Andrews led the team in routes run with 47. More than any WR.

Saints

WR: It continues to be Tre’Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway playing most snaps.  Deonte Harris only played a 50% share.

RB: With Kamara out, it’s the Mark Ingram show.  Great add by them.

TE: Another game with 15 snaps at WR for Trautman.  Liking his new usage.

Seahawks

WR: Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.  That’s all we need to think about.

RB: They split the work down the middle here - Travis Homer on pass downs, Alex Collins on run downs.

TE: Gerald Everett had a solid game this week with good deployment.  Maybe he’ll be more of a focal point moving forward but part of that could have been the Metcalf ejection.

Steelers

WR: We’ve said it for weeks - Ray-Ray McCloud plays a ton of slot and is always a threat to do something there.

RB: Najee Harris - 75 of 86 snaps.  Wow.

TE: Pat Freiermuth has taken over the boss’s share of the work here. He’s an asset

Texans

BYE

Titans

WR: AJ Brown played his role and Marcus Johnson played Julio Jones’s role. No one else played a decent enough workload.

RB: D’Onta Foreman got the work but Adrian Peterson seems to be the short yardage guy.  Jeremy McNichols played some sporadic pass snaps.

TE: Not enough routes run for any one player.

Vikings

WR: Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson.  Keep it simple.

RB: Dalvin Cook.  The Vikings make it easy.

TE: This warning has been coming every week.  Tyler Conklin blocks on far too many pass snaps.  He’s due for rough weeks.

Washington Football Team

WR: Terry McLaurin is the only one playing a reasonable enough snap share for fantasy.  DeAndre Carter was second with 49 of 73 snaps.

RB: In a positive game script many didn’t expect vs. TB, Antonio Gibson touched the ball 10 times in the final five minutes as they ran the clock down. Something to remember for positive scripts.
TE: With Ricky Seals-Jones getting banged up, Logan Thomas might get his full role back quickly.  If both are out, John Bates may be a sneaky DFS play.  Maybe a little too sneaky.
