Pekka Rinne allowed three goals on 23 shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.
This was Nashville's third game of the season and Rinne's first appearance. He didn't look rusty early on, as he made some good saves to keep the score tied, 0-0, heading into the first intermission. But the Hurricanes' young offensive talent eventually went to work (they got goals from Andrei Svechnikov, Sebastian Aho and Vincent Trocheck before Nino Niederreiter scored into an empty net). The Preds clearly don't want to give the 38-year-old as much work as he's had in previous seasons. His fantasy upside is extremely limited. Jan 18 11:55 pm (EST)
