Tristan Thompson won't travel to Cleveland, even though the Cavs have opened their practice facilities, because he has his own basketball court and weight room.
Thompson is staying engaged with the team via texts and Zoom calls, talking to coaches, and doing yoga and workouts with the team's strength and conditioning coach. He also said there's "still a desire to play around the league," particularly for teams with playoff aspirations. "[T]hey see a window of opportunity trying to win a championship," Thompson said. "So I understand where they’re coming from ... But I think the main concern is just how can we do it in a way where everyone’s at peace when they go to work?" May 15 10:56 am (EST)
