When asked about how Kevin Durant has looked at recent workouts, Jarrett Allen responded, "I’ll just keep it short and simple: KD is back again."
We'll be rooting for a monster return from KD this season, but we're skeptical of how valuable he'll be in fantasy hoops in his first year back, considering the copious amount of restrictions we're anticipating. A major caveat here is that by the start of next season, Durant will have spent 1.5 years in recovery, which is a lot more time than most guys get when recovering from this injury. That said, Dominique Wilkins is still the only star player to ever truly regain his form after an Achilles tear, and that was back in the 90s. He's going to make for an extremely risky, early-round target this season. Nov 17 5:25 pm (EST)
