Grizzlies executive VP of basketball operations Zach Kleinman said Wednesday night that Justise Winslow (hip) is expected to return "early this season."
Winslow, who suffered a season-ending hip injury during the Grizzlies' time in the bubble, is not expected to be available for the season opener but he shouldn't be sidelined for too long beyond that. He has the potential to provide fantasy value as a supplementary playmakers to Ja Morant, but the medical issues are a concern. Winslow played in a total of 11 games last season, all with the Heat, due to injury. It's best to take a wait-and-see approach when it comes to Winslow's viability as a fantasy option.
