Depending on who you ask, U.S. Women’s National Team manager Vlatko Andonovski is either going to change up his entire lineup or run out the exact same lineup that started in the 3-0 win against Vietnam. It seems likely that Rose Lavelle will start for Savannah DeMelo, and that she will give way at home point after halftime to Megan Rapinoe. Beyond that is anyone’s guess. If we get a radically different lineup, that could provide some buying opportunities. If we get a similar lineup with Julie Ertz in defense and Andi Sullivan in the midfield, I think most of the value in the slate will be from players who weren’t great against Vietnam but could benefit from a more open game flow against the Netherlands.

MVP/Captain

Alex Morgan, FWD, USA

I'll probably pivot to Sophia Smith if I have extra money to spend but I think Netherlands' style suits Morgan more than Vietnam's. Morgan did quite well with her back to goal Friday but I think she will have more opportunity to run into channels and at the defense in this game. Smith is safer but Morgan could be the better value.

Trinity Rodman, FWD, USA

I still desperately want to play Lynn Williams on FanDuel but it doesn’t seem like that is in the cards for this game. Rodman had a quiet World Cup debut but that has just served to keep her price down. Like Alex Morgan, I think Rodman could thrive in a more back-and-forth contest.

FLEX

Sophia Spitse, MID, Netherlands

Spitse had five crosses, three chances created and an assist against Portugal. She is too cheap, even if I don't really expect the Netherlands to score. She is listed as a defender on FanDuel but I like her on both sites regardless of where she lines up.

Rose Lavelle, MID, USA

Her ceiling is capped because she is pretty much guaranteed to play 45-60 minutes. That being said, she'll be on set pieces and quite involved in open play and she is much cheaper than the other midfielders.

Danielle van de Donk, MID, Netherlands

I thought van de Donk was the Netherlands’ most dangerous attacker against Portugal, even if she didn’t score the goal. She put both of her shots on goal and recorded a handful of defensive stats as well. She is better on FanDuel scoring but she’s playable on both sites.

Dart Throw

Julie Ertz, DEF, USA

I’ll really like Ertz on FanDuel if she starts at center back again. She had two clearances against Vietnam and she should at least double that total against the Netherlands. Mostly she is here for her prowess on set pieces. Ertz had four shots (one on target) against Vietnam and there is a decent chance she will provide a cheap goal at some point in this tournament.

Sophia Huerta, DEF, USA

We got decent production on DraftKings from Emily Fox, but Huerta is much better at getting forward and sending in crosses. My guess is if she starts a game it will be against Portugal but I want to put her on your radar just in case.

Daphne van Domselaar, K, Netherlands

For my money, she is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Finishing has been an issue for the United States since manager Vlatko Andonovski took over, and Vietnam’s keeper scored 7.2 fantasy points despite allowing three goals. I wouldn’t be shocked if van Domselaar racks up a bunch of saves while allowing fewer than three goals, but there is a reason she is a dart throw.
