Welcome to the Monday Night Showdown Slate for NFL Week 13!

Even with all the injuries the 49ers (5-6) have endured this season, they are in playoff contention. A win gets them to .500 with Washington and Dallas the next two opponents. They could possible get back tight end George Kittle and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo before the end of of the season. The Bills (8-3) have a half-game lead over the Dolphins in the AFC East and have won four of their last five games and the lone loss came on the final play of the game when Kyler Murray found DeAndre Hopkins on a Hail Mary pass. The game will take place in Arizona since the 49ers temporarily can't play in their home at Santa Clara due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Before we start, remember, these showdown slates are similar to lottery tickets. At times the chalk hits and everyone shares in the prizes, but more often than not, you need that random, dart-throw to hit in order to claim that top prize, so make sure you play responsibly. Stick to the GPP contests (single-entry preferred), don’t blow your whole bankroll and understand that, unless you are a max-entry player, it's about having fun.

Please note that if a player is not listed that does not mean they are a full fade and players listed below can all have captain considerations.

MVP/Captain

Josh Allen, QB BUF – Allen can be volatile, but he has a high floor due to his rushing. He has at least 284 passing yards in three of his last five games. In the other two, he passed for 157 and 154 yards. Allen has six rushing touchdowns, including three in the last four games. Allen has rushed 81 times for 311 yards and has 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Deebo Samuel, WR SF – After missing several games with a hamstring injury, Samuel returned last week and looked pretty, pretty, pretty healthy. He had 11 catches for 133 yards on 13 targets. The 49ers find ways to manufacture touches for him and he's explosive with the ball in his hands.

Raheem Mostert, RB SF – Mostert has only played five games this season due to injuries. He returned last week and had 16 carries for 43 yards and two receptions for no yards in a difficult matchup against the Rams. The matchup isn't as daunting against the Bills and Mostert has a good shot to score multiple touchdowns in a run-first offense.

Mid-Tier

Nick Mullens, QB SF – Mullens isn't exciting to roster, but he's a cheap quarterback. He had tough opponents with the Rams and Saints in his last two games. The last time he had a favorable matchup against the Seahawks, Mullens had 238 passing yards with two touchdowns. He also gets another weapon with the return of Brandon Aiyuk, who can also be considered as a play.

Gabriel Davis, WR BUF – Davis doesn't get a lot of targets, but he's on the field almost every play with John Brown on injured reserve. Davis had four catches for 70 yards with a touchdown on five targets in Week 9 against the Seahawks and last week against the Chargers, Davis had four targets, catching three for 79 yards with a touchdown. Davis is a big-play threat and Allen will take shots deep.

Stefon Diggs, WR BUF – Diggs is averaging 10 targets per game and has at least 93 receiving yards in three of the last four games. He has at least 10.8 DK points in every game this season. He has 80 receptions for 945 yards with four touchdowns.

Dart Throws

Jerick McKinnon, RB SF – McKinnon is only $1,400 on DK. The 49ers backfield can be a headache and Raheem Mostert will get most of the touches with Jeff Wilson mixed in. McKinnon is utilized more in passing situations and would be in a better spot to produce if the 49ers are trailing. With Mostert back from injury last week, McKinnon had three carries for 21 yards and two receptions for 11 yards. If he does a little better and can find the end zone, he will pay off. Tevin Coleman is off the injury report and expected to play and could lower the ownership on McKinnon.

Tyler Bass, K BUF – The 49ers defense has been good and the Bills could settle for field goals and Bass has been a good kicker. He has at least 11 DK points in four of the last five games. He has hit nine of his last 10 field goals, including three from at least 50 yards.

Jordan Reed, TE SF – Reed was limited in his first game back from injury and has six targets in each of his last two games in two difficult matchups. The Bills allow the sixth most fantasy points to tight ends and have allowed six touchdowns to the position. They have allowed 17 receptions to tight ends over the last three games.
