Week 6 isn't quite in the books, the Broncos travel to San Diego in Monday Night Football, but there is still plenty of stuff to review with the vast majority of the week in the books.Vick Ballard touched the ball just 10 times (eight runs) as he posted 42 yards for a Colts team that was obliterated by the Jets. He's still a potential flex play option in Week 7 even with his poor effort in Week 6.Martellus Bennett, aka The Black Unicorn, played in Week 6. He tore some “s - - t up” in his knee last weekend, but he said he is always good because of his "unicorn blood." It might be time to talk to the Brothers Grimm because it seems Bennett lost his inner-unicorn as he was held to only one catch for nine yards in against the Niners. After a blazing start to the year he's now caught five balls for 41 yards the last three weeks. Everyone said that LeGarrette Blount was going to be about as valuable as a pair of socks with a hole in the heel due to the appearance of rookie Doug Martin. Everyone except me that is. Blount showed what he can do Sunday running for 58 yards an a score on just seven carries. He's not going to take over for Martin who posted 131 yards on only 15 touches, but it should be obvious at this point that his role is growing.Sam Bradford loses Danny Amendola to injury and somehow throws for 315 yards on 39 passes? Still, he didn't throw for a score so it wasn't like he did much in terms of his fantasy production.Dez Bryant finally had the game that his talents dictate he should. He was an uncoverable beast all Sunday as he caught 13 balls for 95 yards and two scores against the Ravens. Unfortunately he let a 2-point conversion pass right threw his hands or it would have been a near perfect outing for the Cowboys' wideout who was targeted 15 times by Tony Romo.Shonn Greene went bonkers Sunday, and don't feel bad if you had him on your bench while it occurred (I sat him in favor of Vick Ballard in one of my leagues). Greene made the Colts look like 12 year old's playing flag football as he carried the rock 32 times for 161 yards in the biggest game of his career. As if that wasn't enough, he also went off for three – one, two, three – scores. How good was his day? Greene ran for more yards than Marshawn Lynch (15 carries, 41 yards), Jamaal Charles (12-40), Trent Richardson (14-37) and Frank Gore (8-36) – combined. A breakthrough performance that he will never repeat for the duration of his career. Sell high if you can.Robert Griffin III caused you some trepidation did he? Hopefully you listened when I said play him if he was on the field. He passed for 182 yards and a score and ran 13 times for 138 yards and two rushing scores (Griffin and Michael Vick are the only two QBs to run for 130 yards and two scores in a game since the AFL/NFL merger). Two. Is it possible that he is going to have a better fantasy season than Cam Newton did last year? He's currently on pace to with six rushing scores through six games. Amazing.Brian Hartline had 52 targets the first five weeks of the season, tied with Kendall Wright for 7th in the NFL. In Week 6 he had zero targets (he had two balls thrown at him, but both were on penalties that wiped them out). Zero. Kudos to the Rams, but 'shame on you' to the Dolphins who simply must do a better job of getting the ball into Hartline’s hands.Percy Harvin caught 11 balls for 133 yards. As I've been saying for over a year now, he is a must start every week. I just can't understand why people continually submit questions to me each week asking if he should start. It's hard to bash Darrius Heyward-Bey in his first game back after a scary concussion but all he did was go 20 yards on an end-around. Derek Hagan caught four balls for 85 yards stepping up as the #2 option behind Denarius Moore (more below). It's pretty hard to trust DHB at this point no matter how deep your league is, and don't go blowing your FAAB budget to add Hagan either.Vincent Jackson wasn't very efficient as he caught only four of eight balls thrown his way, but he was exceedingly efficient with how he used his receptions. Jackson took those four balls for 66 yards and two touchdowns.Felix Jones went nuts against the Ravens with 18 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown on the ground as he played a ton in the second half with DeMarco Murray dealing with a foot injury (Murray still ran for 93 yards on 14 carries). Don't be fooled with Jones. We've seen this too many times before. Jones undeniably has talent, but he's as brittle as a paper mache pumpkin.Andrew Luck threw for an impressive 280 yards against the Jets, but he completed only half his 44 passes and threw two picks without a touchdown. As great as he has looked at times it's worth remembering that he is a rookie so it would be wise to temper your expectations if you were thinking Luck was a lock to be a strong QB1 all year long. Finally. Denarius Moore broke loose for the Raiders with five receptions for 104 yards and a score as he displayed his ridiculous athleticism on the score. The guy is a beast. He will continue to be a fantasy factor and from here on out if he was a low end WR2 I wouldn't be shocked.Alfred Morris came into Week 6 as the most consistent rookie runner in the game (sorry Trent Richardson), as he had failed to run for 80-yards just one time in five games (he carried the ball 17 times for 78 yards in Week 3). That run of weekly effectiveness ended as he was bottled up by the Vikings who held him to just 47 yards on 16 carries. He saved his fantasy day though with a rushing score.Adrian Peterson failed to score for a 5th straight game. He did have a strong game despite his ankle woes though as he ran 17 times for 79 yards while catching a big time seven balls for another 50 yards. Pity the defense that thinks AD is no longer an end zone threat. Uh oh. Steven Ridley ran for just 34 yards on 16 carries in Week 6. Blame that on the Seahawks strong run defense that simply didn't give him any breathing room all game. Ridley's value is starting to dip a tad with the Danny Woodhead's of the world getting more weekly work in the Patriots unpredictable offense, but Brandon Bolden's minor knee injury might keep Ridley as a near must start in virtually every league for the time being. We'll have to see.Mark Sanchez threw for two scores. He also completed just 11 of 18 passes for 82 yards. The Jets simply cannot pass the ball effectively, and without Santonio Holmes, it doesn't seem like expecting a major turnaround is something you should be counting on.Mike Williams caught four passes for a score and 113 yards. He's now gone for 100-yards the last two games he's played, shockingly, and he's firmly in the mix for weekly WR3 honors with Vincent Jackson occupying so much of the defenses attention.Wes Welker caught 10 balls for 138 yards an a score against the Seahawks, even with Aaron Hernandez back on the field (Hernandez had six receptions, 30 yards an a score). That's 4-straight games of at least eight catches and 100 yards for Welker. Four straight.Russell Wilson finally had a day going for 293 yards and three scores for the Seahawks including a huge 46 yard score at the end of the game as the Seahawks defeated the Patriots. Don't go fooling yourself. He's still nothing more than a low end QB2 – especially against the Niners in his next matchup.Jason Witten was his old self yet again as he caught six balls for 88 yards. He's now caught 21 balls for 200 yards with a score the past two weeks.Ray Flowers can be heard daily on Sirius/XM Radio on The Fantasy Drive on Sirius 210 and XM 87, Monday through Thursday at 7 PM EDT and Friday's at 9 PM EDT.
