There are a lot of stacks I like Wednesday, but I forced myself to stick to just five options. I was originally going to avoid the Coors Field stacks, which is usually my inclination when there are other solid options, but I talked myself into it once I actually looked at the matchups. Here are my top stacks for Wednesday, April 12:

Cleveland Indians vs. Derek Holland

The toughest part of this stack is choosing just a few Indians because they could all be strong plays. Let’s start with the guys who have a history with Holland: Austin Jackson is 6-for-19 with two home runs. Edwin Encarnacion is 7-for-18 with three home runs and eight RBI. Carlos Santana is 7-for-21 with two homers and seven RBI. After that, you have Brandon Guyer, who had a .414 wOBA against lefties last season and Jose Ramirez, whose .363 wOBA against LHP is impressive in its own right.

Atlanta Braves vs. Tom Koehler

Ender Inciarte and Nick Markakis are 6-for-12 and 10-for-17 respectively against Tom Koehler. Matt Kemp has a 1.654 OPS against righties this season while Jace Peterson’s OPS against righties is .964. Dansby Swanson will help keep the price down and if he can get a couple of hits he should have some opportunities to score or drive in some runs out of the two hole.

Rays vs. Jordan Montgomery

Steven Souza is off to a strong start with a 1.077 OPS while Evan Longoria has a .380 career wOBA against lefties. Tim Beckham and Rickie Weeks are both super-cheap and have the platoon advantage, and Weeks will bat fourth.

Padres vs. Kyle Freeland

In some ways, it is a shame the Rockies are at home. If this game was in San Diego it would probably still have the highest over/under and all of the hitters would be much cheaper. Considering the prices, the other options and the fact that Kyle Freeland shut down the Dodgers at Coors last week, I’m probably looking elsewhere for stacks. That being said, Manual Margot is 9-for-20 with three home runs during his five-game hitting streak, while Wil Myers is 7-for-12 with two home runs and five RBI over his three-game hitting streak. They will have the platoon advantage along with Yangervis Solarte and Hunter Renfroe, and all four of those Padres have at least two home runs on the season.

Rockies vs. Zach Lee

Zach Lee was 7-14 with a 6.14 ERA in 27 starts at Triple-A last season. It is hard to imagine how he is going to get outs Wednesday considering the Rockies destroy righties at home. Charlie Blackmon has a .394 wOBA in his career against righties in Coors Field. Nolan Arenado’s wOBA against righties at Coors is .376. Trevor Story’s is .423. DJ LeMahieu had a 1.076 OPS at home against righties last season, while Carlos Gonzalez’s mark was .970. Mark Reynolds and Gerardo Parra may not have the history at Coors, but they are both off to good starts, batting .323 and .375 respectively this season.

Others receiving votes:

Miguel Cabrera is 7-for-22 and Ian Kinsler 9-for-28 against Gibson.
