Week One Start'em/Sit'em DecisionsQuarterbacksMust Plays: Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan

Start'em Andrew Luck (IND)--The Colts are sporting a new offense this season, that will feature the arm of Luck more than ever, which should result in a game on Sunday. The Raiders made some improvements in their secondary, but have no true pass rusher to pressure Luck into making bad decisions. Not to mention the Raiders offense is one of the worst in all of football, so the Colts will have plenty of chances to take advantage of their opponent.Ben Roethlisberger (PIT)--Big Ben may not be a solid fantasy play on most weeks, but with a lot of questions in the running game, the Steelers will likely rely on his arm more than ever out the gates. Last season the Titans ranked among the worst defenses against the pass, allowing 31 touchdowns, which ranked them 29th. Without making any major improvements, Roethlisberger should have a field day in this one.Sit'em Robert Griffin III, QB (WAS)--After missing the entire preseason following knee surgery, it is hard for me to recommend Griffin, despite having a good matchup in the Eagles out the gates. He is going to get back to his usual ways eventually, but it is hard to believe it will be right away in his first game action since his surgery.Andy Dalton, QB (CIN)--The Bengals open up the season against the Bears, which is not the draw anyone is looking for early on. The Bears led the league in takeaways a season ago, forcing the most interceptions and the most fumbles with 24 and 20 respectfully. I do like Dalton overall on the season, but this is not the matchup to see what he has considering he will likely have a few turnovers.  Running BacksMust Plays: Adrian Peterson,  Jamaal Charles, Ray Rice, C.J. Spiller, Alfred Morris, Marshawn Lynch, Matt Forte, Trent Richardson, LeSean McCoy, Arian Foster, Doug Martin

Start'emDavid Wilson (NYG)--With out for the first half of the season, the Giants will rely even more on Wilson, which will now result in the third-down attempts as well. The Cowboys will now feature a 4-3 defensive scheme, which has looked good throughout the preseason, but Wilson should get enough carries to make him worth a start, even if he doesn't break a big one.Steven Jackson (ATL)--For the first time in his career, Jackson is on a team with an established quarterback and receivers, which could result in the best season of his career. The Falcons draw the Saints Week 1, and besides the Bills, the Saints were the worst team against the run a season ago. Expect to see Jackson in the end zone at least once in this contest in what is looking like it will be a high scoring affair.DeMarco Murray (DAL)--A season ago Murray took advantage of the Giants defense rushing for 131 yards on 20 carries in the season opener, and will be looking to repeat that performance in this year's opener. Murray has had his issues with injuries in his young career, but made it through the preseason without a scratch heading into Week 1. The Giants defense is already banged up after a few key injuries this, so expect to Cowboys to take full advantage of that in this one.Sit'emChris Ivory (NYJ)--The Jets have named Bilal Powell the Week 1 starter, which came at somewhat of a surprise after trading for Ivory this offseason. Ivory is going to get on the field, but we just don't know in what capacity. Once we no more it will be easier to evaluate his true fantasy value, but for now we have to take a wait-and-see approach.Eddie Lacy (GB)--The Packers are committed to running the ball this season, but going up against the Niners in the season opener is the the type of matchup to back up their statement. The Niners allowed the fourth least rushing yards to opposing running backs a season ago, and with no major changes to their defensive group, the same results are on the horizon.DeAngelo Williams (CAR)--By default, Williams walked away with the starting job this preseason after Jonathan Stewart was placed in the PUP list. While that is great news for Williams, it is not so good in terms of fantasy this week. The Seahawks defense was one of the better groups in all of football a season ago, and have been able to make improvements heading into 2013. Williams will be a good FLEX play most weeks, but look for a different option in this one if possible.Continue to Page 2 for the rest of this week's start'em/sit'em decisions...Wide ReceiversMust Plays: Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green, Demaryius Thomas, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Randall Cobb, Roddy White, Victor Cruz, Reggie WayneStart'emT.Y. Hilton (IND)--There have been many skeptics out there saying that Hilton may not be worth starting in Week 1 with Darrius Heyward-Bey ahead of him on the depth chart, but that is a bunch of crap. Hilton build a great chemistry with Andrew Luck last season and now that they are in a West Coast offense, he should get even more looks as they become more comfortable in the new offensive scheme.Miles Austin (DAL)--For the first time in a few seasons, Austin claims to have no issues with his hamstrings and is 100 percent healthy to start the season. The Giants secondary is banged up once again, and with all the attention Dez Bryant will draw, Austin should receive plenty of targets down the field. We have been fooled by him in the past, but it is looking like that won't happen in this matchup.DeSean Jackson (PHI)--Jackson is coming off of a disappointing season from a year ago, but with all the changes in the Eagles coaching staff, he may now be in the best system to take advantage of his skill set. The Redskins Achilles heel was their pass defense a year ago, but failed to make any significant changes this offseason, so expect the Eagles to take full advantage on the resurrected arm of Michael Vick.

Sit'emSteve Smith (CAR)--Although I like Smith to have another solid season on the downside of his career, this week is not the week to have him in your starting lineup. The Seahawks have one of the best secondaries in all of football, and Smith will likely be occupied by Richard Sherman throughout the game, which is no picnic. Expect the Panthers to struggle mightily in this contest, especially in the passing game.Vincent Jackson (TB)--The Buccaneers draw a good matchup to open the season, going up against the Jets on Sunday, but the matchup for Jackson is no walk in the park. Jackson will be blanketed by Antonio Cromartie throughout the game, whose physicality and speed should be able to limit his production. If you have to start him, then so be it, but don't expect him to have a performance to brag about.Mike Wallace (MIA)--Wallace was added to the Dolphins receiving core this offseason as the team tries to rebuild for the second straight season. Both Ryan Tannehill and Wallace failed to get on the same page this offseason, which is not what fantasy owners wanted to see heading into Week 1. I am not saying Wallace isn't a stud, but give it a few weeks before starting him to see just how things play out.  Tight EndsMust Plays: Jason Witten, Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski (If Active), Vernon Davis, Greg Olsen, Tony GonzalezStart'emZach Sudfeld (NE)--The Patriots will likely be without Rob Gronkowski Week 1, which opens the door for Sudfeld to make his name in the Patriots passing game. The Bills were solid against opposing tight ends a season ago, but it looks like their best player in the secondary, Jarius Byrd, will miss the game due to plantar fasciitis. If that is the case, the middle of the field will be wide open for Sudfeld to make his case for playing time beyond Gronkowski's injury.Brandon Myers (NYG)--We all know how much Eli Manning loves to rely on his tight ends, and now with Myers in the mix he once again has a reliable target outside of Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. Myers is not the type to make big plays downfield, but his reliable hands will earn him many targets, even against the tougher of opponents.

Sit'emJared Cook (STL)--The Rams expect to have an increase in production from the tight end position this season, but fantasy owners will likely have to wait until Week 2 at the earliest, considering this week's matchup. The Cardinals defense, especially their secondary is one of the better groups in the league, and if they can get a pass rush on Sam Bradford, a lot of mistakes are on the horizon. If this is the case, Cook's targets will be limited as the team will need more of a blocker than receiver at the tight end position.Jermichael Finley (GB)--Finley is coming off of arguably the best preseason of his career, but faces off against one of the best defenses against tight ends from a season ago. He has been a major disappointment throughout his career, failing to live up to his lofty expectations and this week should be no different. I am a believer, just not this week.  Defense/Special TeamsMust Plays: Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati BengalsStart'emIndianapolis Colts Defense/Special Teams--If you read my weekly pickups article, you already know that I am high on the Colts defense this week. There are many question marks in the Raiders offense this season, with their quarterback being the biggest, with Sunday being his first career start under center. Their offensive line is atrocious so expect a lot of bad decision making, which should result in a low scoring, turnover plagued performance by The Black Hole.Sit'em Baltimore Ravens Defense/Special Teams--The Ravens retooled their mediocre defense from a season ago, adding arguably one of the best defenders in Elvis Dumervil, but this week is not the week to have this group in your starting lineup. The Broncos are going to pass early and often in this contest, with a lot of unanswered questions in their backfield, which is going to result in a high scoring affair. I really like this defense overall in 2013, just not this week.Matthew Beck is a Fantasy Sports Columnist for Rotoinfo.com.
