Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers--8:20 PM (THURS)Start--Malcom Floyd, WR (SD)Reason--The Chargers passing game was non-existent last week against the Browns, but that was due to the weather conditions in Cleveland. This week they will be back home and facing off against a Chiefs defense that has allowed 65 fantasy points to opposing wide receivers over their last two games making Malcom Floyd a must-start in most fantasy formats. Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals--1:00 PMSit--BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB (CIN)Reason--Although the Broncos are averaging just over 15 fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season, this week is not a good matchup for BenJarvus Green-Ellis and the rest of the Bengals running game. In the Broncos last two games they have allowed just 139 rushing yards and have allowed just three touchdowns all season, so if you have a better option, it is worth exploring. Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns--1:00 PMStart--Josh Gordon, WR (CLE)Reason--Over the last decade when your fantasy players were matched up with the Ravens it was always wise to avoid it at all cost, but now with many injuries and an aging core the group can be exploited. Over their last two games the Ravens have allowed three touchdowns to opposing wide receivers and with Josh Gordonâs big play ability it only makes sense to take advantage of this situation this week. Arizona Cardinals at Green Bay Packers--1:00 PMStart--Green Bay Packers Defense/Special TeamsReason--The Packers defense came through for me last week, so I am rolling with them again, at home against a sub-par Cardinals team that has now lost their last four games. With offensive line issues and a lack of a running game, the Cardinals offense is in trouble which should mean a big day for the Packers on the defensive side of the ball. Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans--1:00 PMSit--Stevie Johnson, WR (BUF)Reason--If you take away the Texans blowout loss to the Packer sin Week 6, the Texans only have allowed three touchdowns to opposing wide receivers. Stevie Johnson is going to get his targets, but will have Jonathan Joseph draped on him all day and that isnât ever a good thing if you are an opposing wide receiver, so go with a different option if one is available. Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts--1:00 PMSit--Donald Brown, RB (IND)Reason--After giving up two touchdowns in Week 1 against the Texans, the Dolphins have yet to give up a rushing score to opposing running backs since then. The Colts offense is a pass-first offense as Andrew Luck establishes himself in the NFL so Donald Brownâs touches may be limited in this one making it highly unlikely he will have a big game. Detroit Lions at Jacksonville Jaguars--1:00 PMStart--Matthew Stafford, QB (DET)Reason--Matthew Stafford has been struggling this season, but he is coming off of a four touchdown performance against a good Seahawks defense and will be looking to build off of that performance. The Jaguars have given up five touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks over their last three games and have struggled against the pass all season, so this is a great matchup for Stafford and the Lions wide receivers to exploit.Carolina Panthers at Washington Redskins--1:00 PMStart--Jonathan Stewart, RB (CAR)Reason--The Panthers are in rebuilding mode and over the last two games it appears Jonathan Stewart is the featured running back for the foreseeable future. The Redskins have allowed 164 yards and two touchdowns to opposing running backs over their last two games and as long as it doesnât turn into a blowout, Stewart should be able to produce well for his fantasy owners. Chicago Bears at Tennessee Titans--1:00 PMSit--Chris Johnson, RB (TEN)Reason--Although Chris Johnson has turned it on as of late, this week he is matched up against the Bears who have allowed just one rushing touchdown on the year and have yet to allow a 100-yard rusher. The Titans have a mediocre offensive line at best, so unless he breaks off a big run at some point in the game, donât expect him to be very productive on Sunday. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Oakland Raiders--4:05 PMStart--Josh Freeman, QB (TB)Reason--Josh Freeman has been on fire the last two weeks passing for six touchdowns and zero interceptions over that span. This week he is matched up against the Raiders, who have had their issues with opposing quarterbacks this season, so if you need to roll with Freeman he is worth a shot this week. Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks--4:05 PMSit--Kyle Rudolph, TE (MIN)Reason--Although Kyle Rudolph has found the end zone in four of the Vikings first eight games, quarterback Christian Ponder has failed to connect with him over the last two games for any meaningful production. He has just two receptions for two yards over that span and considering how the Seahawks can stop the tight end this is a terrible matchup for Rudolph this week. Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Giants--4:25 PMStart--Jonathan Dwyer, RB (PIT)Reason--The Giants have kept opposing running backs out of the end zone this season, allowing just three touchdowns this season, but they are giving up a lot of yardage on the ground. Jonathan Dwyer is coming off of a great game last week against the Redskins and as long as he is healthy he is a good start this week as the Steelers try to get back to their ground-and-pound attack. Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons--8:20 PMSit--Tony Gonzalez, TE (ATL)Reason--I was right on last week when I said not to start Martellus Bennett against the Cowboys defense and this week I am going to ride that same notion and suggest not starting Tony Gonzalez. The Cowboys have now allowed just eight fantasy points to opposing tight ends in standard leagues over their last three games, so donât expect much production from Gonzalez this week. Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints--8:30 PM (MON)Sit--Philadelphia Eagles Defense/Special TeamsReason--Anytime a team is matched up against the Saints I try to avoid using their defense. This week the Eagles come to town off of a blowout loss to the Falcons in which they gave up three touchdowns through the air, so this one could be much of the same considering the Saints high octane passing game.
