QuarterbacksBlaine Gabbert (JAC)--Gabbert was a full participant in practice on Thursday and is expected to start for the Jaguars this weekend. He suffered a glute injury in last week’s game but the injury does not appear to be serious. Mark Sanchez (NYJ)--Sanchez is considered probable at this time after fully participating in practice on Thursday despite suffering from a lower back injury. At this point it appears he is probably almost over the injury. Running BacksRyan Williams (ARI)--Williams was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday due to a knee injury. He is considered questionable for Week 3 against the Eagles and if he doesn’t play it will be Beanie Wells who will carry the full workload for the Cardinals. Fred Jackson (BUF)--Although Jackson is not expected to play in Week 3 against the Browns, there were some encouraging signs coming from the Bills practice this week. Jackson has been conducting his own drills on the side at practice this week, which means he may be back earlier than originally anticipated. Matt Forte (CHI)--Forte was unable to practice once again on Thursday and is not expected to play this weekend against the Rams. Although his status for this week was not yet made official, expect it to become reality once the team’s injury report is released. Trent Richardson (CLE)--Richardson was a full participant in practice on Thursday making him probable to play this week against the Bills. Unless something unforeseen happens at practice on Friday Richardson will be out there. Rashad Jennings (JAC)--Jennings did not practice once again on Thursday and is considered questionable for this week’s game against the Colts. If he doesn’t practice again on Friday you can pretty much rule him out for the second week in a row. Daniel Thomas (MIA)--The Dolphins will likely have Thomas back for their Week 3 matchup after he fully participated in practice on Thursday. He suffered a concussion in Week 1 and missed Week 2, so this is a great sign that he is on track to return to action in that short of time.Rashard Mendenhall (PIT)--Despite being a full participant in practice on Thursday, Mendenhall is not expected to play this week against the Raiders as he recovers from knee surgery. The Steelers are reporting he will make his season debut in Week 5 when the team returns from a bye week. Ryan Mathews (SD)--Mathews was a full participant in practice on Thursday and is expected to make his season debut on Sunday. The Chargers have gotten by without Mathews the first two weeks, but with him back in the mix it brings the Chargers offense to another level. Steven Jackson (STL)--Jackson was not on the practice field on Thursday and will likely be a game-time decision from this week’s matchup against the Bears. Be sure to check in status following Friday’s practice to get an accurate read on his status. Marshawn Lynch (SEA)--Lynch was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and is considered questionable for this week’s game against the Packers. Since the Seahawks play on Monday it isn’t that big of a deal that he was limited, but be sure to check his status prior to kickoff of Sunday’s game in case you need to use another option. Wide ReceiversJulio Jones, WR (ATL)--Although Jones has been limited in practice this week, the Falcon consider him probable for their Week 3 matchup against the Chargers. Jones is suffering from a lingering thigh injury that does not appear to be serious. Roddy White (ATL)--White was limited in practice for the second time this week on Thursday due to a minor knee injury. Like Julio Jones, White is expected to play this weekend but be sreu to check in status following Friday’s practice. Calvin Johnson (DET)--After missing practice on Wednesday Johnson returned to practice on a limited basis on Thursday making him questionable for Sunday’s game against the Titans. We should know more after the Lions practice on Friday so be sure to keep track of him in you are an owner.Greg Jennings (GB)--Jennings missed practice on Thursday and is considered questionable for this week’s matchup against the Seahawks with a groin injury. The Packers said this week that Jennings is not coming along as they originally anticipated, so he is looking more like a game-time decision. Austin Collie (IND)--Collie is considered probable for Week 3 against the Jaguars after fully participating in practice on Thursday. If he is able to play it will be Collie’s season debut and is expected to slide into the slot receiver spot for the Colts. Brandon Lloyd (NE)--Lloyd was able to practice on Thursday, but was limited with a thigh injury. He is considered questionable to play this week at this time, but if he practices on Friday all signs point to him playing in Sunday night’s game against the Ravens. Marques Colston (NO)--The Saints hope that Colston will be able to play this week against the Chiefs, but he was limited in practice Thursday and is considered questionable. Colston is suffering from a foot injury, but it does not appear to be too serious. Jeremy Maclin (PHI)--Maclin was limited in practice on Thursday and is considered questionable for this week’s game against the Cardinals. It was a good sign that he was able to practice, but if there is no progression he may be rules out by Sunday. Mike Wallace (PIT)--The Steelers will likely have Wallace for Week 3 against the Raiders after he was able to return to practice on Thursday despite suffering from a groin injury. Expect him to be a full participant in practice again Friday making him probable for this week. Pierre Garcon (WAS)--Garcon was limited in practice on Thursday and will likely be listed as questionable on this week’s injury report. He is suffering from a foot injury that held him out of last week’s game, but if he practices on Friday he should be able to play this weekend.  Tight EndsDustin Keller (NYJ)--Keller was able to return to practice on Thursday after missing practice earlier in the week. He is considered questionable for this week’s matchup against the Dolphins, but will likely be on the field Sunday as long as he practices on Friday. Antonio Gates (SD)--Gates was a full participant in practice on Thursday and is expected to return to the Chargers offense this week. He is suffering from a rib injury that held him out of the game last week, but he appears to have gotten over the injury. KickersSebastian Janikowski (OAK)--The Raiders will likely have Janikowski on Sunday despite the fact that he was limited in practice on Thursday. He is currently suffering from a groin injury, but it does not appear to be serious. Matthew Beck is a Fantasy Sports Columnist for Rotoinfo.com.
