Baltimore Orioles

(CL) Solid Jim Johnson (R)–Recorded his 29th save of the season Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing two hits while striking out one batter on 17 pitches thrown. Johnson got himself into a jam once again, but was able to work his way through it inducing two ground ball outs to seal the victory. 17 PC-10 ST (7/3/13)

(SU) Tommy Hunter (R)--Took the loss on Thursday after allowing a game-winning home run to Adam Dunn in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Orioles elected to keep Hunter in the game after pitching a scoreless eighth inning, but he only recorded one out before serving the long ball to Dunn. 29 PC-19 ST (7/4/13)

(MR) Darren O’Day (R)--Picked up the win on Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless seventh inning allowing one hit on 15 pitches thrown. O'Day improved to 4-0 after this contest, which was his first appearance since Sunday so expect to see much more of him over the next few days. 15 PC-10 ST (7/3/13)

Boston Red Sox

(CL) Shaky Koji Uehara (R)–Picked up the win on Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk on 18 pitches thrown. Uehara has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Thursday. 18 PC-10 ST (7/3/13)

(SU) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Tazawa struck out the side on only 16 pitches, as he bounced back nicely from a poor performance his last time out. 16 PC-12 ST (7/3/13)

(MR) Andrew Bailey (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Thursday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Bailey hadn't been used in a game since last Friday, as the team continues to limit his work due to control issues, so expect him to be used in non-significant roles for now. 12 PC-7 ST (7/4/13)

(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Picked up the win on Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning on a non-save situation. Reed retired all three batters he faced in order, forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out while striking out one batter on 12 pitches thrown. 12 PC-10 ST (7/4/13)

(SU) Jesse Crain (R)–Took the loss on Saturday after allowing one run on three hits in the eighth inning. The earned run allowed by Crain in this contest was his first surrendered since April 12, which brings his season total up to three on the season. 18 PC-12 ST (6/29/13)

(MR) Matt Thornton (L)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Thornton has now pitched back-to-back days, and three of the last four, so expect him to get the day off on Thursday. 11 PC-7 ST (7/3/13)

Cleveland Indians

(CL) Solid Chris Perez (R)--Recorded his eighth save of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter on 18 pitches thrown. This wasn't the best showing from Perez, but he was able to work threw some early issues and seal the victory for the Indians in the end. 18 PC-11 ST (7/2/13)

(SU) Vinny Pestano (R)--Earned his fifth hold of the season on Tuesday despite allowing one run on two hits and one walk in the eighth inning. Pestano has been far from perfect this season, but has managed to allow only three earned-run over his last 10 appearances, dating back to June 15. 18 PC-12 ST (7/2/13)

(MR) Joe Smith (R)--Was charged with a blown-save Thursday after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the seventh inning. Smith has pitched very well out of the Indians bullpen this season, but he has now allowed five runs over his last 10 appearances, which is not a trend you want to see. 21 PC-12 ST (7/4/13)

Detroit Tigers

(CL) Shaky Joaquin Benoit (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 18 pitches thrown. Benoit has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Thursday. 18 PC-14 ST (7/3/13)

(SU) Phil Coke (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday night allowing one hit on only six pitches thrown. This was Coke's first appearance since Sunday, so expect him to be sued more often over the next few days. 6 PC-5 ST (7/4/13)

(MR) Al Alburquerque (R)--Picked up the win on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless seventh inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter on 15 pitches thrown. (SU) Hector Ambriz (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Monday surrendering three runs on four hits and two walks. Ambriz threw 36 pitches in the appearance, so there is a good chance he will be unavailable for Tuesday's contest. 36 PC-19 ST (7/1/13)

(MR) Wesley Wright (L)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Thursday retiring both batters he faced in order. Kansas City Royals

(CL) Solid Ernesto Frieri (R)–Earned his 21st save of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. (SU) Scott Downs (L)–Picked up the win on Thursday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a non-save situation. With this appearance Downs improves to 2-2 on the season as he continues to be a very reliable arm out of the Angels bullpen. 14 PC-9 ST (7/4/13)

(MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday night allowing one run on two hits needing 14 pitches to work through the frame. Seattle Mariners

(CL) Shaky  Tom Wilhelmsen (R)--Recorded his 17th save of the season Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. This was Wilhelmsen's first save opportunity in weeks, so hopefully this will get the ball rolling for him. 13 PC-8 ST (7/3/13)

(MR) Wilton Lopez (R)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Wednesday night allowing one hit on eight pitches thrown. Over his last three appearances, Lopez has yet to pitch a full inning, being limited to just 1.2 innings of work over that time frame. 8 PC-6 ST (7/3/13)

Los Angeles Dodgers

(CL) Solid Kenley Jansen (R)–Collected his eighth save of the season Wednesday night despite allowing one run on one hit and one walk in 1.1 innings of work. (MR) Ronald Belisario (R)–Picked up his eighth hold of the season Saturday night after recording just the second out of the eighth inning. (CL) Committee Francisco Rodriguez (R)--Recorded his seventh save of the season Wednesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. (MR) Justin De Fratus (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Thursday allowing two runs on three hits in the eighth frame. (SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Picked up his 24th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Melancon has been arguably the best relief pitcher this season, and is now sitting on a 0.87 ERA through the first three months of the season. 12 PC-10 ST (7/3/13)

(MR) Tony Watson (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 15 pitches thrown. Watson has been very reliable for the Pirates  this season, and the fact that he is able to pitch multiple innings gives him even more value moving forward. 15 PC-11 ST (7/4/13)

San Diego Padres

(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)--Pitched a scoreless 12th inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. This was Street's first appearance since last Sunday, so expect to see a lot more of him in this weekend's series with the Marlins. 11 PC-7 ST (6/26/13)

(SU) Luke Gregerson (R)–Took the loss on Wednesday after allowing a walk-off home run to Jonny Gomes in the top of the ninth inning. (MR) Dale Thayer (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday allowing one walk while striking out two batters on 20 pitches thrown. (SU) Jeremy Affeldt (L)--Pitched one inning of scoreless relief on Wednesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Affledt has been struggling as of late, so it was nice to see him produce an outing without allowing any base runners. 17 PC-9 ST (7/3/13)

(MR) Javier Lopez (L)--Took the loss on Wednesday after allowing one run on one hit between the 10th and 11th innings. This was Lopez's longest outing of the season, so expect him to get the day off on Thursday. 28 PC-12 ST (7/3/13)

(CL) Elite Edward Mujica (R)–Took the loss on Thursday night after allowing two runs on four hits in the ninth inning. This appearance was also Mujica's first blown-save in 21 tries, but considering the way he has pitched this season, he should be able to turn things around. 18 PC-11 ST (7/4/13)

(SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Sunday allowing one run on one hit while striking out two batters on 14 pitches thrown. After almost two months without allowing an earned-run, Rosenthal has now allowed two runs over his last two appearances, so hopefully he can put an end to that in his next performance. 14 PC-10 ST (6/30/13)

(MR) Randy Choate (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Sunday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Choate threw only seven pitches in the contest, forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out while striking out one batter to keep the game within reach for the Cardinals. 7 PC-7 ST (6/30/13)

(CL) Solid Rafael Soriano (R)--Recorded his 22nd save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. It wasn't the best of showing from Soriano, but he was able to work through some early issues and secure the victory for the Nationals. 19 PC-13 ST (7/4/13)

(SU) Drew Storen (R)--Picked up the win on Thursday despite allowing three runs on three hits in the seventh inning. Storen has now allowed seven runs over his last two appearances, so maybe some time off is in need so that he can clear his head and salvage what seems to be a lost season for him. 26 PC-17 ST (7/4/13)

(SU) Tyler Clippard (R)–Picked up his 14th hold of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk on 19 pitches thrown. With the recent struggles of Drew Storen, Clippard should continue to see the bulk of the setup duties for the time being. 19 PC-13 ST (7/4/13)
