(CL) Committee Jim Johnson (R)–Recorded his 41st save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. Johnson looked good in this appearance, proving he still may have the mentality to close for the Orioles. 11 PC-8 ST (8/29/13)
(CL) Committee Darren O’Day (R)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing one hit on only five pitches thrown. O'Day was quickly replaced by Brian Matusz, due to left handed hitters coming to the plate, or else O'Day would have likely stayed in for the entire inning. 5 PC-5 ST (8/28/13)

(CL) Solid Joaquin Benoit (R)–Picked up the win on Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a non-save situation allowing two hits on 15 pitches thrown. (CL) Elite Grant Balfour (R)–Recorded his 34th save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter on 19 pitches thrown.
