Rosenthal needed 16 pitches to work through the frame, forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to get the job done. 16 PC-11 ST (8/24/13) (MR) Randy Choate (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Saturday allowing one hit on 10 pitches thrown. Soriano was supposed to be unavailable after pitching three straight days, but Drew Storen failed to record an out in the inning making the Nationals have to turn to their top reliever. 11 PC-9 ST (8/23/13) (SU) Tyler Clippard (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Clippard needed only 10 pitches to get through the appearance, forcing three fly ball outs to get the job done. 10 PC-5 ST (8/24/13) (MR) Drew Storen (R)--Failed to record an out in his appearance on Friday night surrendering two runs on one hit and one walk.
