O'Day has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get the day off on Monday. 12 PC-10 ST (8/11/13) (MR) Tommy Hunter (R)--Picked up his 14th hold of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless seventh inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Hunter has gotten himself on track after a rough July, and should continue to be the go-to- guy in the ninth inning if Jim Johnson needs a day off. 12 PC-10 ST (8/11/13)Boston Red Sox(CL) Solid Koji Uehara (R)–Recorded his 12th save of the season Saturday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Tazawa has now pitched two innings in each of his last two appearances as the Red Sox try to work around a few injuries to key players in their bullpen. 23 PC-18 ST (8/10/13) (MR)  Craig Breslow (L)--Earned his ninth hold of the season Saturday after recording the final two outs of the sixth inning. Breslow has now pitched back-to-back days, but has limited his pitch counts in both contests, so he should be good to go for the series finale on Sunday. 6 PC-5 ST (8/10/13) Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm), Andrew Bailey (Shoulder), Matt Thornton (Oblique)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Recorded his 28th save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Smith has been much better in the setup role than former setup man Vinny Pestano, so don't be surprised if this short term gig turns into something more long term in the future. 21 PC-14 ST (8/11/13) (MR) Marc Rzepczynski (L)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Saturday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 20 pitches thrown. Apparently he just needed to switch jerseys, because since coming over to the Cleveland, he has been a totally different pitcher, having yet to allow an earned-run. 20 PC-11 ST (8/10/13)Detroit Tigers(CL) Shaky Joaquin Benoit (R)–Recorded his 14th save of the season Wednesday despite allowing one run on two hits in the 14th inning. Rondon has been used to pitch multiple innings each of his last three appearances, as the team tries to stretch him out into a long relief man as the playoffs inch closer. 23 PC-12 ST( 8/9/13) Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)Houston Astros(CL) Committee Josh Fields (R)–Was used in the seventh inning on Friday night allowing two runs on two walks recording only one out before being pulled. After a great start to the week (1.1 IP 4 K 1 SV), Fields has now allowed five runs over his last two appearances, so there isn't much to like here. 12 PC-3 ST (8/9/13) (CL) Committee Travis Blackley (L)--Failed to record an out in his appearance on Wednesday night after allowing one hit and one walk in the seventh inning. This was a terrible outing from Blackley, but he got lucky that his teammate Chia-Jen Lo got him off the hook. 12 PC-5 ST (8/7/13) (MR) Wesley Wright (L)--Failed to record an out in his appearance on Friday night allowing one hit and one walk before being pulled. This is the type of outing we have grown to see from Wright this season, but with little help around him, he should be with the team the remainder of the season. 13 PC-7 ST (8/9/13)Kansas City Royals(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Recorded his 32nd save of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Herrera continues to pitch well this time around and appears to be here to stay. 16 PC-11 ST (8/9/13)Los Angeles Angels(CL) Shaky Dane De La Rosa (R)--Earned his first save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk on 22 pitches thrown. De La Rosa may be used more down the stretch considering the struggles of Ernesto Frieri, and should be added to watch lists, especially those in desperate need of saves. 22 PC-13 ST (8/9/13) (SU) Ernesto Frieri (R)–Was used in the ninth inning on Saturday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Frieri has temporarily been removed from the closer role and will be used in lower leverage situations for the time being, so look for Dane De La Rosa to be used in the closer role for now. 9 PC-7 ST (8/10/13) (MR) Kevin Jepsen (R)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing one walk on 12 pitches thrown. Jepsen was used to get the final two outs of the seventh inning, after the Angels bullpen blew their lead, but it was too little too late in this contest. 12 PC-4 ST (8/11/13) Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow), Sean Burnett (Elbow)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)–Pitched both ends of Friday's doubleheader allowing two runs in a non-save situation in Game 1 and earned his 28th save in Game 2. Burton needed only 10 pitches to work through the frame, forcing one fly ball out while striking out two batters to secure the Twins five run lead heading into the final frame. 23 PC-14 ST (8/11/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)–Picked up the win despite being charged with his fifth blown-save of the season, after allowing two home runs to tie the game in the ninth inning. Rivera has now blown three straight save chances and is really starting to show signs of his true age. 23 PC-16 ST (8/11/13) (SU) David Robertson (R)–Earned his 28th hold of the season Sunday despite allowing one run on two hits in the eighth inning. With the recent struggles of Mariano Rivera, don't be surprised if the Yankees decide to give him a few days off to clear his head,, which could mean some save chances for Robertson. 19 PC-13 ST (8/11/13) (MR) Boone Logan (R)–Earned his sixth hold of the season Sunday after pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless relief.
