Johnson has now pitched back-to-back days and three of his last four, so there is a chance he may be given the day off Sunday considering the team is not off on Monday. 15 PC-9 ST (4/27/13) (SU) Darren O’Day (R)–Pitched a scoreless inning of relief on Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter. O'Day made it through the month of April allowing just one earned-run, and has now emerged as one of the best setup men in the American League. 22 PC-14 ST (4/30/13) (MR) Pedro Strop (R)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Friday night retiring all four batters he faced in order. The game was already out of reach, so the Orioles turned to Strop to finish out the game, and he did so in one of his best outing of the year. 17 PC-11 ST (5/3/13) Boston Red Sox (CL) Shaky Andrew Bailey (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 13 pitches thrown. With Joel Hanrahan on a rehab assignment, Bailey's time at the closer could be coming to an end, but the team has yet to release who will be their closer, so owners will have to wait patiently to see if he holds any value moving forward. 13 PC-8 ST (4/28/13) (SU) Joel Hanrahan (R)--Recorded his fourth save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing just one hit on 14 pitches thrown. With Andrew Bailey unavailable due to a biceps injury, Hanrahan was able to jump right into the closer role and secure the with for the Red Sox, but once Bailey is back to full health expect Hanrahan to be back in the setup role. 14 PC- 9 ST (5/2/13) (MR) Koji Uehara (R)–Earned his eighth hold of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. After starting his major league career as a starter, Uehara has transformed into a solid middle reliever, and is worth owning in holds leagues at this point in the season. 15 PC-10 ST (5/2/13)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Collected his 10th save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning, pitching on back-to-back days. Reed made int interesting by walking two batters, but worked around the base runners striking out three batters to secure the victory for the White Sox. 23 PC-12 ST (5/2/13) (SU) Matt Thornton (L)–Earned his eighth hold of the season Thursday after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning. Thornton only needed 9 pitched to work through the appearance, so despite pitching back-to-back days expect him to be available if needed on Friday when the White Sox take on the Royals. 9 PC-8 ST (5/2/13) (MR) Jesse Crain (R)–Picked up his seventh hold of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Like the rest of the back end of the White Sox bullpen, Crain has now pitched back-to-back days and may be given a day off on Friday due to his high pitch counts in his previous two outings. 23 PC-14 ST (5/2/13) Cleveland Indians (CL) Solid Chris Perez (R)–Picked up the win Friday after pitching a scoreless 10th inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Perez has pitched well this season, but has allowed more base runners than we have grown accustomed to seeing from him, so hopefully he can turn that around before the base runners start to turn into runs scored. 15 PC-9 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Vinnie Pestano (R)–Pitched one inning of relief in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader allowing one run on one hit and two walks. The run allowed did not change the game at all, considering the Indians where up by so much, but it would have been nice to see a clean outing from him, since he last pitched on April 22. (4/28/13) (MR) Bryan Shaw (R)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Wednesday allowing two hits and one walk while striking out two batters. Shaw got himself into a jam, but was able to work around it by forcing three ground ball outs, to keep a sub-1.00 earned-run average on the season. 39 PC-24 ST (5/1/13)Detroit Tigers(CL) Solid Jose Valverde (R)–Collected his third save in as many tries this season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Since returning to the team Valverde has been dominant, flashing signs of his 2011 dominance, and should have no problem holding onto the job moving forward considering his competition. 19 PC-11 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Joaquin Benoit (R)–Pitched two innings of relief Thursday allowing one walk while striking out three batters. With the game moving into extra innings, the Tigers decided to stretch out Benoit, who usually only pitched one inning or less per outing, and it didn't turn out bad considering he only faced seven batters. 32 PC-20 ST (5/2/13) (MR)  Al Alburquerque (R) Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder), Phil Coke (Groin) Houston Astros (CL) Shaky Jose Veras (R)–Took the loss and was charged with his second blown-save of the season Friday night after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. Veras had been pitching well as of late, but this is a big step backwards, and despite having the closer role, he isn't really worth owning outside of deep leagues. 21 PC-12 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Rhiner Cruz (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Tuesday night allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Rhiner got himself into a jam, but worked through it to keep the Yankees lead within reach. 14 PC-10 ST (4/30/13) (MR) Wesley Wright (L)–Was charged with a blown-save Thursday after allowing one run (unearned) on one hit without recording an out in the eighth inning. Wright has now pitched three straight days and will likely be given the day off on Friday, not that anyone should worry considering he is virtually not owned in fantasy leagues. 7 PC-3 ST (5/2/13) Injured–Josh Fields  (Forearm) Kansas City Royals (CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Collected his seventh save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Holland has pitched great over his last few appearances, but was now used on back-to-back nights, so there is a good chance we will see Kelvin Herrera in the closer role on Thursday if a save situation was to arise. 14 PC-9 ST (5/1/13) (SU) Kelvin Herrera (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Herrera has now pitched back-to-back days, and three of the last four, so don't expect to see him pitch on Wednesday. 19 PC-12 ST (4/30/13) (MR) Aaron Crow (R)–Earned his fifth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless relief. Crow retired all four batters he faced in order, forcing one ground ball out, two fly ball outs and striking out one batter to pass the ball to closer Greg Holland to seal the victory for the Royals. 14 PCP-9 ST (5/1/13) Los Angeles Angels (CL) Shaky Ernesto Frieri (R)–Earned his fourth save of the season Wednesday after pitching the final 1.2 innings to hold onto a one run lead. Frieri threw a lot of pitches in this contest (35), so there is a good chance that you may see Sean Burnett used in the closer role on Thursday if a save situation arises. 35 PC-18 ST (5/1/13) (SU) Sean Burnett (L)–Picked up his third hold of the season Friday after recording the final two outs of the sixth inning. He needed only 10 pitches to get the job done, forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out, as he continues to be the best bridge between the Angels starters and Ernesto Frieri. 10 PC-5 ST (4/26/13) (MR) Scott Downs (L)–Earned his fifth hold of the season Wednesday despite allowing one run on two hits in the eighth inning. Downs only recorded one out in the appearance, as he continues to struggle with his pitch location early in the season. 8 PC-6 ST (5/1/13) Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)–Was used in a non-save situation on Wednesday allowing two hits while striking out one batter in the ninth inning. Perkins has been used in non-save situations in each of his last two appearances, which doesn't help his fantasy owners, but at least he as escaped unharmed in each contest. 13 PC-11 ST (5/1/13) (SU) Jared Burton (R)–Was charged with a blown-save Friday after allowing one run o two hits and one walk in the eighth inning. The run allowed was just his second of the season, but it couldn't have come at a worse time, considering it eventually cost the Twins the game against their divisional rival. 16 PC-9 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Casey Fien (R)–Took the loss Friday after allowing one run on two hits between the ninth and 10th innings. With this appearance Fien falls to 1-2 on the season, and should be considered a fringe fantasy player for those in holds leagues. 20 PC-12 ST (5/3/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)–Recorded his 11th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Rivera has now pitched back-to-back days, but with a scheduled day off on Thursday he will be ready to go when the Yankees take on the Athletics on Friday. 7 PC-7 ST (5/1/13) (SU) David Robertson (R)–Picked up his fifth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 eighth inning. Robertson limped off the mound after twisting his ankle on during his appearance, but is expected to be available on Friday. 12 PC-9 ST (5/1/13) (MR) Boone Logan (R)–Picked up the win Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless relief. Logan allowing one hit in the appearance, but forcing three ground ball outs and struck out one batter to secure the Yankees one run lead. 12 PC-10 ST (5/1/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Solid Grant Balfour (R)–Collected his fourth save of the season on Friday night after striking out the only batter he faced in the ninth inning. Sean Dootlittle was used in the eighth inning and the beginning of the ninth inning due to all the left-handed batters in the Yankees lineup, but Balfour entered to seal the win and to earn the save for the Atheltics and his fantasy owners. 6 PC-3 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Ryan Cook (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. He struck out two batters while forcing one ground ball out, with Grant Balfour unavailable. 15 PC-11 ST (5/1/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Earned his fourth hold of the season Friday night after retiring all four batters he faced in order between the eighth and ninth innings. Doolittle has emerged as one of the top left-handed middle relievers in all of baseball this season, and should be owned universally throughout all holds leagues. 10 PC-9 ST (5/3/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Solid Tom Wilhelmsen (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday night allowing one hit in a non-save situation. Wilhelmsen has been dynamite this season, limiting his pitch counts and base runners, as he continues to emerge as one of the best closers in the American League. 19 PC11 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Carter Capps (R)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief Wednesday allowing one run on three hits while striking out two batters. Capps has struggled this season with his location, and in this contest that resulted in a Manny Muchado solo-home run in the eighth inning, but it did not become a deciding factor, considering the Mariners big lead. 29 PC-19 ST (5/1/13) (MR) Charlie Furbush (L)–Recorded the final out of the eighth inning Wednesday forcing the only batter he faced to strike out on just four pitches thrown. Furbush hadn't pitched since last Friday, so the team decided to used him to force a lefty on lefty matchup, which he ended up winnings with ease. 4 PC-3 ST (5/1/13)Injured–Stephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Solid Fernando Rodney (R)–Recorded his fourth save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning. Rodney made it interesting, allowing two base runners, but he worked out of the jam to seal the victory for the Rays. 21 PC-16 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Joel Peralta (R)–Pitched  a scoreless eighth inning on Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Peralta is off to a great start this season, and if he is available in holds leagues it would be wise to try and get him into your starting lineup, considering he is sporting a 1.54 earned-run average with five holds. 8 PC-7 ST (5/1/13) (MR) Jake McGee (L)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief Friday nigh allowing two hits and one walk while striking out two batters. While this wasn't as bad as his previous outing, McGee struggled, just no runs scored, so it allowed him to escape unharmed, but if he keeps this up he will be in Triple-A Durham in no time. 22 PC-14 ST (5/3/13) Texas Rangers (CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)–Recorded his eighth save Friday night despite allowing a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Nathan was only responsible for one of the runs that scored, with the other two being charged to Joe Ortiz, so it didn't effect his earned-run average too much. 8 PC-7 ST (4/26/13) (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Thursday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Scheppers put together another solid outing Thursday, forcing one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to keep his earned-run average under 1.00 on the season. 7 PC-5 ST (5/2/13) (MR) Jason Frasor (R)–Pitched 1.1. innings of relief on Wednesday retiring all four batters he faced in order. This was Frasor's fist appearance since Sunday, so expect him to be available out of the bullpen Thursday when the Rangers wrap up their series with the White Sox. 20 PC-11 ST (5/1/13) Injured– Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Janssen needed only nine pitches to force three fly ball outs in this contests, and is now sitting on a 0.90 earned-run average through 10 innings of work this season. 9 PC-5 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one hit while striking out two batters on 19 pitches thrown. Delabar has now pitched 2.1 innings over the last three days, so there is a chance that he will be used sparingly over the next few days if needed. 19 PC-14 ST (5/2/13) (MR) Esmil Rogers (R)–Pitched a scoreless seventh inning Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Putz has been far from consistent this season, and with both David Hernandez and Heath Bell lurking, his days as the team's closer could be numbered if he continues down this road. 13 PC-9 ST (4/30/13) (SU) David Hernandez (R)–Took the loss and was charged with his third blown-save of the year Wednesday after surrendering three runs on one hit and two walks in the eighth inning. There was some speculation that the Diamondbacks might possibly move Hernandez to the closer role with the recent struggles of J.J. Putz, but outing like this will likely make the team reconsider. 31 PC-16 ST (5/1/13) (MR) Heath Bell (R)–Recorded only the first two outs of the ninth inning Wednesday allowing two runs on on hit and two walks. With the recent struggles of J.J. Putz, there is a chance Bell could find himself in the ninth inning role in the upcoming weeks, but outing like this surely don't help his cause. 23 PC-12 ST (5/1/13) Atlanta Braves (CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)–Was charged with his second blown-save of the season Friday night after allowing one run on one hit in the ninth inning. The big blow came via a David Wright solo-home run, which sent the game in the extra innings and was Kimbrel third run allowed over his last three innings of relief. 17 PC-12 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Eric O’Flaherty (R)–Was charged with a blown-save Friday night after allowing one run on one hit in the eighth inning. O'Flaherty served up a solo-home run to Marlon Byrd in the appearance, which forced the game into a tie, but it was Craig Kimbrel the following inning that really let the game go. 15 PC-11 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Jordan Walden (R)–Took the loss on Friday after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the 10th inning. Walden has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the  day off on Saturday to clear his head, so those using him in holds leagues should plan accordingly. 29 PC-17 ST (5/3/13) Injured– Jonny Venters (Elbow) Chicago Cubs (CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday in a non-save situation allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Gregg has emerged as the Cubs closer in the absence of Kyuji Fujikawa, and has yet to allow an earned-run through his first 6.1 innings of relief. 10 PC-4 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Carlos Marmol (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 16 pitches thrown. With the emergence of Kevin Gregg as the team's closer, Marmol will likely only see save situations if Gregg is unavailable, which will limit his fantasy value significantly. 16 PC-11 ST (5/2/13) (MR) Shawn Camp (R)–Was charged with his second blown-save Thursday after allowing one run on one walk in the eighth inning. He failed to record an out in the appearance, needing James Russell to relieve him after throwing just five pitches, failing to get through the inning. 5 PC-1 ST (5/2/13) Injured–Kyuji Fujikawa (Forearm)Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)–Was roughed up in his appearance on Friday surrendering three runs on four hits and two walks, failing to get out of the ninth inning. This was Chapman's worst outing of the season, needing J.J. Hoover to finish the frame for him after he almost blew a four-run lead in the game. 32 PC-19 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Despite falling behind early to each batter he faced, Broxton found a way to forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out, needing only seven pitches to pass the ball to Aroldis Chapman. 7 PC-4 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Sean Marshall (L)--Earned his third hold of the season Friday after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. Marshall has been great since returning from the disabled list, and has yet to allow an earned-run this season. 11 PC-8 ST (5/3/13)Colorado Rockies(CL) Solid Rafael Betancourt (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Despite a big lead, the Rockies decided to go with Betancourt to seal the victory considering he hadn't pitched in a game since last Friday, so this was just a scheduled tune up. 21 PC-15 ST (5/1/13) (SU) Rex Brothers (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Brothers is off to a great start this season, and is currently sitting on a 0.63 earned-run average as the Rockies primary setup man. 21 PC-12 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Wilton Lopez (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday night allowing one hit and one walk on 18 pitches thrown. After a few rough outings, Lopez has put together three consecutive solid outings, appearing to have worked out the kinks that we started to grow accustomed to seeing from him. 18 PC-8 ST (5/3/13)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Shaky Brandon League (R)–Earned his eighth save of the season Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. League was able to put his recent struggles behind him, forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to get the job done. 8 PC-6 ST (4/28/13) (SU) Kenley Jansen (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. After failing to record an out in his previous appearance, Jansen came into this contest firing, throwing all nine of his pitches for strikes in a great bounce-back performance. 9 PC-9 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Ronald Belisario (R)–Took the loss Friday night after serving up a game-winning home run to Buster Posey in the ninth inning. Belisario threw only six pitches in the contest, failing to record an out before costing the Dodgers the game. 6 PC-3 ST (5/3/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Shaky Steve Cishek (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Monday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Cishek has now pitched back-to-back days, and may get a day off on Tuesday, so fantasy owners should keep there eye out for the Marlins closer in the news. 17 PC-8 ST (4/29/13) (SU) Mike Dunn (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Dunn was able to work out of the jam, to keep the Mets lead at one run, but it didn't matter considering the Marlins ended up losing the game anyway. 17 PC-9 ST (5/1/13) (MR) Jon Rauch (R)–Pitched a scoreless sixth inning on Thursday allowing one walk while striking out one batter. After allowing six earned-runs over his previous two appearances, Rauch got back on track in this contest, but in terms of fantasy, he is far from a player you want to roster, even in holds leagues. 15 PC-8 ST (5/2/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)–Pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation needing only 13 pitches to get the job done. The Brewers had a comfortable four-run lead in the contest, so the team used Henderson to make sure that lead did not slip away, considering he hadn't pitched since Saturday. 13 PC-9 ST (4/30/13) (MR) John Axford (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter. After the team announced Axford will not be the primary setup man anymore, he came out firing, proving he can still get the job done despite his recent struggles. 18 PC-10 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Michael Gonzalez (L)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. With the recent news of John Axford, Gonzalez may be used in more significant roles moving forward, which could increase his fantasy value for those in holds leagues. 13 PC-7 ST (5/3/13)New York Mets(CL) Shaky Bobby Parnell (R)–Picked up the win Friday night after recording the final two outs of the ninth inning in a tied ball game. With the latest news on Francisco being negative, it appears Parnell will have at least another month or so in the closer role, if not longer, so fantasy owners should not panic until we hear more on the health of his competition. 14 PC-9 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Brandon Lyon (R)–Pitched one inning of relief on Friday night allowing one run on three hits in the appearance. As expected, Lyon is starting to look like the Lyon of old, and has now allowed an earned-run in two of his last four appearances, so if you are using him in a holds league, hold on tight, we may be hitting a rough stretch. 10 PC-8 ST (5/3/13) (MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Friday allowing one hit while striking out two batters. With Shaun Marcum on a strict pitch count, the Mets needed Hawkins in the fifth inning, which is a lot earlier than he is used to, but he was able to get the job done and not allow any runs. 13 PC-10 ST (5/3/13) Injured– Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)–Recorded his fifth save of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Papelbon has now pitched back-to-back days, but has thrown just 20 pitches between those two contests, so there is no reason to think that he will be unavailable on Saturday. 13 PC-9 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Mike Adams (R)–Earned his third hold of the season Friday pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Adams has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering his low pitch counts in those contests, he should be available on Saturday. 13 PC-8 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)–Earned his fourth hold of the season Friday night after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. Bastardo made it interesting by allowing two walks, but struck out two batters to get himself out of the jam, pitching for the first time since last Sunday. 24 PC-11 ST (5/3/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)–Recorded his 12th save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out three batters. Grilli continued his dominance in the ninth inning this this contest, and now has five strikeouts over his last three innings of work. 18 PC-12 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Mark Melancon (R)–Earned his 11th hold of the season Friday after pitching yet another scoreless eighth frame. Melancon allowed one hit while striking out two batters, lowering his earned-run average to 0.56 through 16 innings in his first season with the Pirates. 22 PC-17 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Jose Contreras (R)San Diego Padres(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)–Recorded his seventh hold of the season Friday night despite allowing one run on one hit in the ninth inning. Street has somewhat struggled in the closer role this season, but has converted all seven of his save chances, just not in orderly fashion. 13 PC-10 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Luke Gregerson (R)–Earned his seventh hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Gregerson has not allowed an earned-run in six straight appearances as he continues to get the job done for both the Padres and his fantasy owners. 11 PC-9 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Dale Thayer (R)–Earned his fifth hold of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning. The combination of Thayer in the seventh, Gregerson in the eighth and Street in the ninth has turned into one of the better 1-2-3 punches in the National League as all three are off to good starts. 11 PC-7 ST (5/3/13)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)–Picked up the win on Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a non-save situation. Romo allowed one hit in the contest, while forcing one fly ball out and striking out two batters to improve his record to 2-2 through the first five weeks of the season. 22 PC-14 ST (5/3/13) (SU) Santiago Casilla (R)–Recorded the final out of the eighth inning on Friday night needing only four pitches to force a fly ball out. Casilla has been used a lot over the last week, but due to outing like this he should be available if needed for the rest of the series with the Dodgers. 4 PC-3 ST (5/3/13) (MR) Javier Lopez (L)– Recorded only one out in his appearance on Wednesday allowing one run on two hits in the sixth inning. Lopez has been far from great this season, but as the Giants primary left-handed reliever, he is going to have to figure it all out or else he could be looking for a new job. 10 PC-5 ST (5/1/13) St. Louis Cardinals (CL) Shaky Edward Mujica (R)–Earned his seventh save of the season Thursday despite allowing one run on two hits in the ninth inning. Mujica has recorded saves in three straight contests, but has allowed a run in his previous two outings, so expect him to get a day off  Friday to rest his arm and get back to his dominant ways. 16 PC-11 ST (5/2/13) (SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Collected his eighth hold of the season Friday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief, allowing one run (unearned) on two hits. Rosenthal has now pitched back-to-back days, but with Edward Mujica likely unavailable Friday, he could be in line to earn a spot-save if the Cardinals don't decide to use a different plan. 28 PC-20 ST (5/2/13) (MR) Fernando Salas (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. With the recent demotion of Mitchell Boggs, Salas will now be used in more significant roles than what we have saw through the first month of the season, so keep your eye on him if you are in holds league. 7 PC-5 ST (5/3/13) Injured– Jason Motte (Elbow)Washington Nationals(CL) Elite Rafael Soriano (R)–Collected his ninth save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing just one hit on 18 pitches thrown. Soriano has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering his low pitch counts, he should be able to be used in the ninth inning Friday if needed. 18 PC-10 ST (5/2/13) (SU) Drew Storen (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Monday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. With Rafael Soriano back with the team, Storen's fantasy value will only be in holds leagues, where he had mixed results this season, with four holds and a 5.23 earned-run average. 9 PC-7 ST (4/29/13) (SU) Tyler Clippard (R)–Took the loss Monday night after allowing one run on one hit and one walk in the seventh inning.
