American League Bullpen ReportBaltimore Orioles
(CL) Solid Jim Johnson (R)âPicked up the win on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Before the game Orioles management stated that Johnson was still their closer, after three straight blown-saves, so the fact he was even used should end any speculation on whether or not he will lose his job. 8 PC-5 ST (5/21/13)
(SU) Darren OâDay (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Considering the recent struggles on Jim Johnson, O'Day will likely be next in line to close if Johnson fails to turn things around. 11 PC-8 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Pedro Strop (R)âRecorded just one out in his appearance on Thursday surrendering two runs on one hit and two walks in the sixth inning. Strop has now allowed four runs over his last two appearances, and if he continues down this road, there is a chance he won't be staying in the Orioles bullpen for long. 22 PC-8 ST (5/23/13)
Boston Red Sox
(CL) Solid Andrew Bailey (R)--Made his first appearance since late April Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one run on one hit in the ninth inning. Bailey appears to be fully healthy and has resumed closer duties for the Red Sox, but injuries have always been a part of his career, so fantasy owners should keep their fingers crossed every time he takes the mound. 11 PC-9 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Koji Uehara (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Friday night allowing one hit on 16 pitches thrown. Uehara has been pitching very well as of late, and has now put together seven straight scoreless relief appearances, racking up 12 strikeouts over that time frame. 16 PC-11 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Junichi Tazawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday allowing one hit on just eight pitches thrown. Now that Andrew Bailey is back from injury Tazawa will be used in a relief role, which should put an end to his fantasy relevance in standard league formats. 8 PC-6 ST (5/23/13)
Injured--Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Reed needed just eight pitches to extend the game into extra innings, forcing one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to get the job done. 8 PC-5 ST (5/24/13)
(SU) Jesse Crain (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Friday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 15 pitches thrown. With this appearance Crain lowered his earned-run average to 0.82, which makes him one of the best setup men to own in terms of fantasy. 15 PC-9 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Matt Thornton (L)âPitched 1.1 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one walk on only 15 pitches thrown. Thornton had allowed three runs over his previous two outings, so it was nice to see him get back on track in this contest. 15 PC-9 ST (5/24/13)
Cleveland Indians
(CL) Solid Chris Perez (R)âWas used in a non-save situation Monday allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out two batters in the ninth inning. Perez allowed a home run to Endy Chavez, which gave the Mariners the lead, but int he bottom half of the inning the Indians offense tied the game back up, saving Perez from being tagged with a loss. 28 PC-16 ST (5/20/13)
(SU) Vinny Pestano (R)--Was charged with his first blown-save of the season Monday after serving up a solo-home run to Kyle Seager in the eighth inning. This was just his second appearance since coming off the disabled list, so a little rust should be expected until he gets back in the swing of things. 22 PC-14 ST (5/20/13)
(MR) Joe Smith (R)--Picked up the win on Monday despite allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter in the 10th inning. Smith allowed a home run to Justin Smoak, which briefly gave the Mariners the lead, but that didn't last long once Charlie Furbush took the mound, allowing Smith to qualify for the win. 12 PC-11 ST (5/20/13)
Detroit Tigers
(CL) Solid Jose Valverde (R)âCollected his fifth save of the season on Thursday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out three batters. Valverde has now pitched three straight days, so he should get the day off on Friday meaning Joaquin Benoit  could be in line to get a save on Friday. 16 PC-11 ST (5/23/13)
(SU) Joaquin Benoit (R)âPicked up the win on Thursday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. With Jose Valverde pitching three straight days, Benoit would be the likely candidate to  be used in the closer role if he was unavailable despite pitching back-to-back days. 15 PC-9 ST (5/23/13)
(MR) Phil Coke (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Sunday allowing two runs on two hits, failing to get out of the seventh inning. Cook has now pitched back-to-back days so the scheduled day off on Monday will give him time to forget that he has allowed three runs in his last three appearances. 16 PC-14 ST (5/19/13)
Injuredâ Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)
Houston Astros
(CL) Shaky Jose Veras (R)âTook the loss and was charged with his third blown-save Friday after surrendering three runs on one hit and two walks in the ninth inning. With this appearance Veras falls to 0-3 on the season, and will likely get e night off on Saturday due to his high pitch count. 29 PC-18 ST (5/24/13)
(SU) Wesley Wright (L)âEarned his fourth hold of the season Friday night after retiring both batters he faced in order needing just eight pitches to get the job done. Wright hasn't been pitching well as of late, so it was nice to see him get back on track in the one. 8 PC-6 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Hector Ambriz (R)--Earned his eighth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Ambriz has now pitched three of the last four days, so luckily for him the team is off on Thursday, so he will get to rest his tired arm. 9 PC-5 ST (5/22/13)
InjuredâJosh Fields  (Forearm)
Kansas City Royals
(CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday in a non-save situation allowing one walk while striking out three batters. Holland has put to rest any questions about him losing his job, so those who are still thinking Kelvin Herrera is going to take the job at some point h this season, should think again. 20 PC-12 ST (5/21/13)
(SU) Aaron Crow (R)âWas used in the seventh inning on Friday night allowing two runs on two hits and one walk needing 18 pitches to get through the appearance. With the recent demotion of Kelvin Herrera, Crow will take over the setup duties for Greg Holland, but is outings like this start to pile up, he will be out of the role pretty quick, considering all the Royals have dealt with in that spot this season. 18 PC-10 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Tim Collins (L)--Forced the only batter he faced in the eighth inning to ground out on three pitches, with all three going over for strikes. With the recent demotion of Kelvin Herrera, Collins will move up a spot in the pecking order, meaning he could be in line for more hold opportunities, but he should not be picked up just yet, considering he has only four holds thus far in 2013. 3 PC-3 ST (5/23/13)
Los Angeles Angels
(CL) Solid Ernesto Frieri (R)âEarned his first hold of the season Thursday night after failing to make it out of the ninth inning allowing two runs on three hits and one walk. Frieri threw 35 pitches in the appearance, so there is a good he will get the day off on Friday, so fantasy owners will want to plan accordingly. 35 PC-19 ST (5/23/13)
(SU) Scott Downs (L)âFailed to record an out in his appearance on Thursday, walking the only batter he faced in the eighth inning on four pitches. Despite a poor start to the season, Downs may be in line to earn a save Friday night with Ernesto Frieri likely unavailable after throwing 35 pitches Thursday. 4 PC-0 ST (5/23/13)
(MR) Sean Burnett (R)--Picked up his fourth hold of the season Thursday after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. Burnett has picked up right where he left off prior to his injury, and if deep holds leagues he could potentially be someone to target if he continues int he right direction. 4 PC-3 ST (5/23/13)
Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)âWas charged with his first blown-save of the season Tuesday after allowing a game-tying home run to Evan Gattis in the bottom of the ninth inning. The  home run extended the game into the 10th inning, which ended up with the Braves winnings after a Freddie Freeman single. 13 PC-9 ST (5/21/13)
(SU) Jared Burton (R)âTook the loss and was charged with a blown-save Thursday after allowing one run on three hits in 1.2 innings of relief. Burton has now allowed three runs over his last three appearances, but has pitched well outside of a recent rough stretch, so he should bounce back over the next few days. 30 PC-18 ST (5/23/13)
(MR) Casey Fien (R)--Earned his fourth hold of the season Thursday despite allowing two runs on one hit and one walk while striking out two batter in 0.2 innings of work. Although he picked up the hold, this was a bad outing for Fien, who is now sitting on a 4.95 ERA through 23 appearances. 19 PC-11 ST (5/23/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)âRecorded his 17th save of the season Monday night after pitching a 1-2-3 10th inning striking out one batter. Make that 17-for-17 in save chances for Rivera in 2013, as he continues to dominate the opposition without the use of an overpowering fastball. 16 PC-10 ST (5/20/13)
(SU) David Robertson (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday night striking out the side on 15 pitches thrown. Robertson has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the day off on Wednesday so owners in holds leagues will want to plan accordingly. 15 PC-10 ST (5/21/13)
(MR) Boone Logan (R)âRecorded the final out of the eighth inning on Friday night needing only four pitches to get the job done. Logan struck out the only batter he faced in the appearance, which was his first outing since Tuesday, so expect him to be available for the rest of this weekend's series with the Rays. 4 PC-4 ST (5/24/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Solid Grant Balfour (R)âEarned his 10th save of the season on Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing two walks while striking out one batter. Balfour is now sporting a 1.40 ERA on the season, allowing just three runs over 19.1 innings of work. 17 PC-9 ST (5/24/13)
(SU) Ryan Cook (R)âRecorded his first save of the season Sunday with Gran Balfour unavailable, allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Cook got himself into some trouble, but was able to secure the one-run lead, which should earn him another chance like this if the situation arises. 21 PC-15 ST (5/19/13)
(MR) Sean Doolittle (L)âPicked up his eighth hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. With this appearance Doolittle is now sporting a 0.90 ERA through his first 21 appearances, which make him one of the better middle relievers in all of baseball. 14 PC-12 ST (5/21/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Solid Tom Wilhelmsen (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday allowing one walk on 12 pitches. This was likely just a bullpen session in a game-time situation for Wilhelmsen, considering the Mariners where down by six runs when he entered the game. 12 PC-5 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Carter Capps (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 20 pitches thrown. This was Capps first appearance in five days, so expect to see him used one of the next two days this weekend. 20 PC-10 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Charlie Furbush (L)âPitched three innings of relief on Wednesday retiring all nine batters he faced in order striking out three batters on only 27 pitches thrown. After pitching three innings, it is likely Furbush will not pitch in the Mariners next game, so don't expect to see him used until Saturday or Sunday. 27 PC-23 ST (5/22/13)InjuredâStephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Solid Fernando Rodney (R)âWas charged with his fourth blown-save Wednesday after allowing a game-tying home run to Jose Bautista in the ninth inning. He was quickly removed after allowing another base runner after the home run, and now still struggling at the end of May, his job security is starting to slip away. 14 PC-6 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Joel Peralta (R)âRecorded the final two outs of the ninth inning on Wednesday after Fernando Rodney served up a game-tying home run, needing only eight pitches to get the job done. If Rodney continues to struggle, Peralta will be the likely candidate to take over the closer duties for the Rays, but that may still be a few blown-saves away. 8 PC-5 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) Jake McGee (L)âEarned his ninth hold of the season Tuesday night after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. He faced only two batters in the appearance, forcing one fly ball out while striking out a batter on 12 pitches thrown. 12 PC-7 ST (5/21/13)
Texas Rangers
(CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)âRecorded his 15th save of the season Friday night after striking out the only batter he faced in the ninth inning. After Joe Ortiz allowed two runs in the ninth inning, it became a save situation, so the Rangers called upon Nathan to get the job done and lock down the win. 5 PC-3 ST (5/24/13)
(SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)âPitched 1.1 innings of relief on Tuesday night allowing one walk while striking out two batters. After a mediocre appearance on Sunday, Scheppers picked up right where he left off, and is now sitting on a 0.75 ERA through 24.0 innings of work this season. 27 PC-15 ST (5/21/13)
(MR) Jason Frasor (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Frasor has been pitching well as of late, but there is no reason to roster him at this point, even in AL-Only holds leagues. 15 PC-8 ST (5/24/13)
Injuredâ Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)âWas used in the ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter. The run allowed was just his fourth of the season, and if the Blue Jays start to turn things around, he could become a great closer to own in fantasy moving forward. 28 PC-18 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Steve Delabar (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Delabar has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a chance he will have the day off on Thursday when the Blue Jays open up a series with the Orioles. 7 PC-5 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) Esmil Rogers (R)âPitched three innings of relief on Friday night allowing three hits while striking out two batters on 42 pitches thrown. Rogers will likely get a few days off after this long relief appearance, so don't expect to see him back on the mound until next week. 43 PC-28 ST (5/24/13)
Injuredâ Sergio Santos (Triceps)Continue to Page 2 to view the National League Bullpen Report...
National League Bullpen Report Arizona Diamondbacks(CL) Shaky Heath Bell (R)âCollected his seventh save of the season on Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk on 22 pitches thrown. It wasn't the cleanest of outings, but Bell battled through it to get the job done. 22 PC-13 ST (5/24/13)
(SU) David Hernandez (R)âWas used in the eighth inning Friday night allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter on 21 pitches thrown. Hernandez allowed a solo-home run to Everth Cabrera in the inning, but it did not turn into a problem considering the Diamondbacks had a big enough lead. 21 PC-14 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Took the loss on Tuesday night after allowing one run on two hits and one walk in the ninth inning. After a great start to the season, Reynolds has now allowed three runs over his last 2.1 innings, this coming after a scoreless innings streak that reach 17.2 innings. 13 PC-6 ST (5/21/13)
Injured: J.J. Putz (Elbow)
Atlanta Braves
(CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)âPicked up the win on Tuesday night after pitching a 1-2-3 10th inning striking out one batter. After a day off on Monday, Kimbrel was right back out there and looked great, so any of you doubters out there need to put to rest any questions about Kimbrel as he appears to be back on track. 14 PC-8 ST (5/21/13)
(SU)  Cory Gearrin (R)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Tuesday night allowing two hits on 13 pitches thrown. Gearrin has now pitched back-to-back days, so expect him to get a day off on Wednesday. 13 PC-8 ST (5/21/13)
(MR)  Luis Avilan (L)--Earned his sixth hold of the season Tuesday despite allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the eighth inning. This was a rough outing for Avilan, who has now pitched consecutive days, so expect to see him get the day off on Wednesday as the Braves try to prevent any more injuries to their bullpen arms. 15 PC-7 ST (5/21/13)
Injuredâ Jonny Venters (Elbow), Jordan Walden (Shoulder), Eric OâFlaherty (Elbow)
Chicago Cubs
(CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday night allowing one hit on 14 pitches thrown. Gregg has yet to give up an earned-run this season, but has just three appearances since May 12, which was the last time he recorded a save, but as least he is continuing to look sharp when he does get an opportunity. 14 PC-9 ST (5/21/13)
(SU) Kyuji Fujikawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 12 pitches thrown. This was just his first appearance since last Sunday, so expect to see him used often over the next few days, now that he appears to be back up to strength after a stint on the disabled list. 12 PC-8 ST (5/23/13)
(MR) Carlos Marmol (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Thursday allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 14 pitches thrown. Marmol has nos allowed just one run over his last six appearances, after giving up what seemed like a run every other outing earlier in the season. 14 PC-8 ST (5/23/13)Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)âRecorded his 11th save of the season on Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit and one walk while striking out three batters. Chapman has now struck out seven batters over his last three innings of work, bringing his season total to 37 strikeouts in 22.0 innings pitched. 22 PC-14 ST (5/24/13)
(SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)âPicked up his eighth hold of the season Friday night despite allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter in the eighth inning. Broxton has now allowed two runs over his last three appearances, but earned holds in all three of those contests. 21 PC-13 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) J.J. Hoover (R)
Injured--Sean Marshall  (Shoulder)Colorado Rockies(CL) Solid Rafael Betancourt (R)âWas removed from his appearance on Tuesday before recording an out, after suffering a groin injury that has been bothering him since April. For now, he should be considered day-to-day, but if his MRI on Wednesday shows anything else, we could be looking at a DL stint. 2 PC-0 ST (5/21/13)
(SU) Rex Brothers (L)âRecorded his first save of the season on Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on just nine pitches thrown. With Rafael Betancourt unavailable, Brothers stepped up to the plate, but will move back to the setup role once Friday with Betancourt expected to return after suffering an injury. 9 PC-7 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) Wilton Lopez (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. If Rafael Betancourt is out for an extended period of time, there is a chance Lopez may be used in a save situation or two, but he will have to compete with Rex Brothers for the spot. 18 PC-11 ST (5/24/13)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Shaky Brandon League (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 10 pitches thrown. When asked on Tuesday, manager Don Mattingly stated he wasn't sure who his closer was, so there is a chance League's shaky start has cost him his job. 10 PC-6 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Kenley Jansen (R)âTook the loss despite picking up his ninth hold of the season Sunday after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the eighth inning. Jansen has now taken the loss in back-to-back games, so a day off will definitely be in store for him on Monday. 14 PC-8 ST (5/19/13)
(MR) Ronald Belisario (R)âRecorded the final two outs of the eighth inning on Wednesday allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Belisario has pitched well as of late, but he should not be considered in holds leagues until he starts to rack up more strikeouts and holds. 19 PC-13 ST (5/22/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Committee Steve Cishek (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. With the recent news that Cishek is now part of a closer committee, he will need to pitch well to keep in consideration for the ninth inning. 11 PC-8 ST (5/22/13)
(CL) Committee Mike Dunn (L)âRecorded the final out of the eighth inning on Friday night striking out the only batter he faced on four pitches thrown. This was Dunn's first appearance since last Sunday, so expect to see him used each of the next few days considering his low pitch count. 4 PC-3 ST (5/24/13)
(CL) Committee A.J. Ramos (R)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Friday night allowing one walk while striking out three batters. With the Marlins turning to a closer by committee, Ramos will likely factor into the equation with Steve Cishek, Mike Dunn and Chad Qualls, so his fantasy value should increase over the next few weeks. 19 PC-12 ST (5/24/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)âPicked up a hold in Friday night's win over the Pirates after recording the first two outs of the game before leaving with a hamstring injury. It is looking like he will need a trip to the disabled list, so fantasy owners will need to plan accordingly over the next few days. 12 PC-7 ST (5/24/13)
(MR) John Axford (R)âEarned his seventh hold of the season Tuesday after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning striking out one batter. Axford has pitched great over the last two days, but will likely get the day off after a heavy workload as of late. 15 PC-9 ST (5/21/13)
(MR) Francisco Rodriguez (R)--Earned his first save of the season Friday night after filling in for the injured Jim Henderson, who left the game with a hamstring injury. If Henderson ends up on the disabled list, Rodriguez will likely get the first shot at the closer role, so if deep leagues he should be picked up now before the Brewers make an official announcement on Henderson's injury. 2 PC-1 ST (5/24/13)New York Mets(CL) Shaky Bobby Parnell (R)âTook the loss on Wednesday after allowing three runs on three hits and two walks in the ninth inning. This was clearly Parnell's worst showing of the season, but has nothing to worry about in terms of his job security. 24 PC-12 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Brandon Lyon (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Lyon struck out two batters in the appearance, needing only eight pitches to get the job done. 8 PC-7 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter needing 11 pitches to get the job done. Hawkins has been inconsistent this season, but that should be expected from a 40-year-old at the end of his career. 11 PC-8 ST (5/21/13)
Injuredâ Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)âEarned his eighth save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk on 17 pitches thrown. Papelbon may not have the strikeout totals we had grown accustomed to seeing form him over the years, but he is still getting the job done, as a position riddled with failure, so consider yourself lucky if you drafted him this year. 17 PC-8 ST (5/17/13)
(SU) Antonio Bastardo (L)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Tuesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Bastardo looked great in this appearance, needing only nine pitches to strikeout two batters and force one fly ball out, which lowered his earned run average to 2.35 on the season. 9 PC-7 ST (5/21/13)
(MR) Jeremy Horst (L)--Pitched 0.1 innings of relief on Friday night allowing two hits on 12 pitches thrown. This was just the first time Horst has pitched since Monday, so expect him to be available for the remainder of the weekend. 12 PC-8 ST (5/24/13)
Injured--Mike Adams (Back)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)âRecorded his 19th save of the season on Thursday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out two batters. Not only has Grilli been racking up the saves, but he has also been striking out batters at a high clip, and now has 34 strikeouts over 21.2 innings pitched in 2013. 14 PC-10 ST (5/23/13)
(SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Recorded his first save of the season Wednesday with Jason Grilli unavailable, after pitching a scoreless ninth inning. Melancon has now pitched back-to-back days, so there is a good chance he will be unavailable to pitch on Thursday. 22 PC-13 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) Jose Contreras (R)--Earned his second hold of the season on Thursday despite giving up one run on one hit and one walk in the seventh inning. He failed to make it out of the inning after allowing the run to score, but at least Justin Wilson was able to prevent any more runs to score following his departure. 20 PC-11 ST (5/23/13)San Diego Padres(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)âEarned his 11th save of the season Monday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing 12 pitches to get the job done. Street has now put together back-to-back solid outings since his last poor showing, so he appears to be back on track despite a bloated earned-run average (4.19 ERA). 12 PC-9 ST (5/20/13)
(SU) Luke Gregerson (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday allowing one walk on 10 pitches to get the job done. With this appearance, Gregerson is now sitting on a 0.92 ERA, which is one of the best earned-run averages for middle relievers in all of baseball. 10 PC-6 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) Dale Thayer (R)âFailed to record an out in his appearance on Friday night, allowing one run on one hit in the seventh inning. Thayer has now pitched only 1.2 innings over his last three appearances dating back to last Friday, so expect to see him used each of the next few days. 1 PC-1 ST (5/24/13)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 11 pitches thrown. Romo has not pitched back-to-back days, but with a scheduled say off on Thursday, expect him to be available for the team's next game. 11 PC-7 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Jeremy Affeldt (L)--Took the loss on Wednesday after allowing one run on two hits had one walk while striking out one batter in the 10th inning. Affeldt needed 25 pitches to get through the appearance, and after pitching back-to-back days, there is a chance he may be given the day off on Friday, even though the team doesn't have a game scheduled on Thursday. 25 PC-14 ST (5/22/13)
(MR) Javier Lopez (L)âPitched 0.1 innings of relief on Wednesday needing only seven pitches to get the job done. Lopez forced a fly ball out to end the eighth inning, and has now pitched the last three days in a row, so a day or two off is likely in store for the Giants lefty. 7 PC-5 ST (5/22/13)
Injured--Santiago Casilla (Knee)
St. Louis Cardinals
(CL) Solid Edward Mujica (R)âWas used in a non-save situation on Wednesday allowing two runs on three hits while striking out one batter in the ninth inning. Luckily for Mujica, the Cardinals had big lead before he entered the game, so the runs didn't mean as much as they could have. 18 PC-16 ST (5/22/13)
(SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday allowing two hits while striking out three batters on 20 pitches thrown. (SU) Drew Storen (R)âRecorded the final two batters of the eighth inning on Wednesday allowing one hit and one walk before getting out of the inning.

(MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter needing 11 pitches to get the job done.
