Johnson has allowed only four earned-runs on the season, but the fact that he can't overpower his opponents will lead to outings like this every once and a while if he can't force ground balls. 13 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Darren O’Day (R)–Was used to record the final two outs of the eighth inning Tuesday night and did so facing the minimum amount of batters. O'Day struck out one batter while forcing one fly ball out on just seven pitches to get the job done. 7 PC-5 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Pedro Strop (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Strop needed only 10 pitches to get through the appearance, forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to keep the ballgame within reach. 10 PC-6 ST (5/17/13) Boston Red Sox (CL) Shaky  Junichi Tazawa (R)--Earned his third win of the season Thursday night after pitching both the eight and ninth innings. Tazawa managed to get out of the appearance throwing only 25 pitches, so there is a good chance he will be available to pitch on Friday night in needed. 25 PC-20 ST (5/16/13) (SU) Koji Uehara (R)–Earned his first save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. With Junichi Tazawa having pitched two innings the previous night, Uehara was called upon to lock down the save, but it should not be expected moving forward. 16 PC-10 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Andrew Miller (L)--Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Friday night retiring all five batters he faced in order. Miller continues to mow down his opponents, recording three more strikeouts in this contest, and now has 23 strikeouts in 13 innings of work this season. 22 PC-15 ST (5/17/13) Injured-- Andrew Bailey (Biceps), Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Recorded his 14th save of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only 11 pitches to get the job done. Reed has no wpitched consecutive days, and three of last for days, so there is a good chance he will get the day off on Saturday to keep his arm rested up for the long haul. 11 pC-7 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Matt Thornton (L)–Earned his 10th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief retiring all four batters he faced in order. Thornton had it going in this contest, throwing first pitch strikes to three of the four batters he faced, striking out one batter while forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to help in the White Sox victory. 13 PC-10 ST (SU) Jesse Crain (R)–Picked up his 12th hold of the season Friday night after recording the final out of the eighth inning. Crain threw just five pitches in the appearance, so even though he has pitched back-to-back days, expect him to be available if needed on Saturday afternoon. 5 PC-3 ST (5/17/13) Cleveland Indians (CL) Solid Chris Perez (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. This was the first appearance by Perez in almost a week, so expect him to be available for the rest of this weekend's series with the Mariners. 11 PC-9 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Vinny Pestano (R)--Collected a win Friday night after pitching a scoreless 1oth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Pestano was activated from the disabled list prior to Friday night's game, and appears to be back to his old ways, considering the way he pitched in this contest. 17 PC-12 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Joe Smith (R)--Picked up the win on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a tied game allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Smith has now pitched back-to-back days, but with a doubleheader in store for Monday, expect Smith to be used at some point. 11 PC-7 ST (5/12/13) Detroit Tigers(CL) Solid Jose Valverde (R)–Recorded his fourth save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk on 15 pitches thrown. Valverde blew his first save of the season last Sunday, but since then has pitching two great outings, so any worries fantasy owners may have should be put to rest. 15 PC-9 ST (5/17/13)(SU) Joaquin Benoit (R)–Earned his sixth hold of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning. Benoit made it interesting by allowing two hits, but worked through the jam forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to pass the ball to Jose Valverde to lock down the victory for the Tigers. 7 PC-6 ST (5/17/13)(MR) Phil Coke (L)Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)Houston Astros (CL) Shaky Jose Veras (R)–Earned his fifth save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning. Veras made it interesting by allowing two walks, but worked out of the jam by forcing one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to nail down the victory for the Astros. 26 PC-16 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Wesley Wright (L)–Earned his second hold of the season Friday night despite allowing one run on one hit in the seventh inning. This wasn't a great showing from Wright, but he will continue to be the best option the team has outside of closer Jose Veras. 6 PC-5 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Hector Ambriz (R)--Allowed one run on one hit in the eighth inning Saturday night, which tied the game going into the ninth inning. Ambriz has now given up two runs over his last three appearances, and will need to turn things around if he wants to stay in the big leagues. 10 PC-5 ST (5/17/13) Injured–Josh Fields  (Forearm) Kansas City Royals (CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Holland has put to rest any questions about him losing his job, so those who are still thinking Kelvin Herrera is going to take the job at some point h this season, should think again. 15 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Kelvin Herrera (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Wednesday night allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one batter. Herrera allowed yet another home run, bringing his season total up to seven home runs allowed, which is more than some starting pitchers. 44 PC-23 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Aaron Crow (R)–Earned his seventh hold of the season on Wednesday night after recording the final out of the sixth inning. Crow walked one batter in the appearance, but then forced the next batter to ground out to get out of the jam. 9 PC-3 ST (5/15/13) Los Angeles Angels (CL) Shaky Ernesto Frieri (R)–Was used to record the final out of the ninth inning Tuesday night needing only one pitch to force a fly ball out. Frieri has pitched well this season, but with the return of Ryan Madson looming, he could be in danger of losing his closer role in the neat future, but it is hard to believe that the team will want to fix something that isn't broken. 1 PC-1 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Scott Downs (L)–Recorded the first two outs of the ninth inning in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 16 pitches thrown. Despite sporting a 2.70 ERA this season, Downs hasn't pitched that well in 2013, and once his luck runs out his performances will show that. 16 PC-11 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Mark Lowe (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday allowing four runs on four hits and one walk. This was a terrible showing form Lowe, who has just a handful of appearances this season, so hopefully he will be able to forget about this one quick before his next appearance. 36 PC-19 ST (5/15/13) Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow), Sean Burnett  (Forearm)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Perkins entered in a tied ballgame and struck out two batters while forcing one ground ball out, but in the end the Twins blew the game, which would have been a win for Perkins had the found a way to score some runs int he 10th inning. 18 PC-12 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Jared Burton (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Friday night allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Burton got himself into some trouble, but battled through it keep the game knotted up at two runs a piece. 19 PC-11 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Casey Fien (R)--Forced the only batter he faced in the seventh inning to fly out on just three pitches thrown. Fien has now been used in 0.2 innings over his previous two appearances, so he should be available if needed for the rest of this weekend's series with the Red Sox. 3 PC-2 ST (5/17/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. With this appearance Rivera is now 16-for-16 in save opportunities this season, as he continues to dominate on his farewell tour. 11 PC-7 ST (5/14/13) (SU) David Robertson (R)–Picked up his ninth hold of the season Tuesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Robertson has been well as of late, and has now recorded four strikeouts over his last three appearances combined. 19 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Boone Logan (R)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Thursday retiring all four batters he faced in order. Logan needed 18 pitches to get through the appearance, forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out while striking out one batter. 18 PC-11 ST (5/16/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Solid Grant Balfour (R)–Earned his seventh save of the season Friday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out one batter. Balfour has been great this season, allowing just three runs in 16.1 innings of work, but the fact that he only has seven saves at this point in the year makes it hard to believe he will be able to live up to his preseason expectations. 16 PC-9 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Ryan Cook (R)–Was charged with a blown-save Tuesday night after surrendering one run on two hits in the eighth inning. Cook has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the day off on Wednesday, so owner sin holds leagues will need to plan accordingly. 13 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Picked up the win on Friday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. With this appearance Doolittle is now sporting a 1.00 ERA through 18.0 innings of work, making him one of the better setup men to own in holds leagues. 13 PC-8 ST (5/17/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Solid Tom Wilhelmsen (R)–Recorded his 11th save of the season Thursday after pitching yet another scoreless ninth inning. Wilhelmsen has now pitched back-to-back days and may be unavailable to pitch on Friday, so fantasy owners will need to plan accordingly. 23 PC-13 ST (5/16/13) (SU) Carter Capps (R)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Saturday retiring all five batters he faced in order. Capps needed 31 pitches to get through the appearance, and has now pitched consecutive days, so he will likely be unavailable to pitch on Saturday. 31 PC-21 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Charlie Furbush (L)–Pitched 1.2 innings of relief on Saturday needing only 19 pitches to retire all five batters he faced in order. Furbush had allowed three runs over his previous two appearances, so it was nice to see him get back on track, showing why the team has high hopes for him in a bullpen role. 19 PC-12 ST (5/17/13)Injured–Stephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Solid Fernando Rodney (R)–Took the loss and was charged with his third blown-save of the season Thursday night after allowing three runs on one hit and four walks in the ninth inning. Rodney has now allowed as many runs in 2013 as he allowed all of last season, and if he doesn't get back on track, there could be changes made in the Rays bullpen, but there is no clear cut favorite to take over if his struggles continue. 35 PC-16 ST (5/16/13) (SU) Joel Peralta (R)–Earned his first save of the season on Friday night after recording the final four outs of the game. With Fernando Rodney unavailable Peralta fill in nicely, but has now pitched consecutive days, so there is a good chance he will get a day off on Saturday. 16 PC-11 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Jake McGee (L)–Picked up his eighth hold of the season Thursday night after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. He needed 13 pitches to get through the appearance forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out ans has now put together three straight solid relief appearances. 13 PC-8 ST (5/16/13) Texas Rangers (CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)–Collected his 12th save of the season Tuesday night despite allowing one run on one hit and three walks in the 10th inning, This clearly wan't a good showing from Nathan, but the fact he battled through it (31 pitches) is the reason why he is considered an elite closer in baseball. 31 PC-14 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)–Recorded the final two outs of the ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation needing only six pitches to seal the victory. After the game manager Ron Washington said he will not use Scheppers in outings greater than one inning, so he can be used on back-to-back days, so that should actually help out his already growing fantasy value in holds leagues. 6 PC-5 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Jason Frasor (R)–Recorded just one out in his appearance on Friday night allowing one walk on 11 pitches thrown. Frasor continues to be used in situations that limit his fantasy value, so in holds leagues he should not even be an option at this point. 11 PC-5 ST (5/17/13) Injured– Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Collected his 10th save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 10 pitches thrown. Wit this appearance Janssen is 10-for-10 in save chances this season, and even with Sergio Santos on his way back, he should not have to worry about losing the closer role. 10 PC-7 ST (5/11/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Delabar has just one perfect outing in his last five appearances, but has allowed just one run over that time frame. 18 PC-10 ST (5/12/13) (MR) Esmil Rogers (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday night allowing one hit while striking out two batters. Rogers has been very inconsistent this season, but outings like this show why the team has kept him around despite the early season struggles in the month of April. 23 PC-15 ST (5/17/13) Injured– Sergio Santos (Triceps)Continue to Page 2 to view the National League Bullpen Report...National League Bullpen ReportArizona Diamondbacks(CL) Shaky Heath Bell (R)–Collected his sixth save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. After a blown-save on Sunday, Bell has now recorded saves in back-to-back games, so any doubt that he would be out as the teams closer should now be silenced. 15 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) (SU) David Hernandez (R)–Earned his eighth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. With Bell rolling in the ninth inning, it is tough to say Hernandez will get save chances down the road, but he is worth stashing considering Bell's track record. 14 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Collected his fourth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless sixth inning allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Reynolds allowed his first runs of the season in Sunday's outing, but got right back on track in this one, as it doesn't look there are any lingering effects from his last showing. 18 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) Injured: J.J. Putz (Elbow) Atlanta Braves (CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)–Recorded his 12th save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. This was Kimbrel's first appearance in over a week, so hopefully the time off allowed him to get back on track after a few shaky outings. 17 PC-12 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Eric O’Flaherty (R)–Was used in the eighth inning Friday night allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter. The run cam via a Scott Van Slyke solo-home run, but it was not enough for the Dodgers to capitalize on O'Flaherty as he worked through it to secure the lead for the Braves. 13 PC-9 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Jordan Walden (R)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. Walden has now allowed five runs over his last three appearances (1.1 innings), and has been a disappointment for both the Braves and fantasy owners in holds leagues thus far in 2013. 22 PC-13 ST (5/11/13) Injured– Jonny Venters (Elbow) Chicago Cubs (CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Recorded the final two out of the ninth inning Wednesday night allowing one run (unearned) on two hits. The run allowed was scored after an error allowed a base runner, so Gregg's scoreless innings streak may be over, but has still yet to allow an earned-run. 17 PC-10 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Kyuji Fujikawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Fujikawa has now made four appearances since being activated from the disabled list, allowing just one hit while striking out six batters over four innings of work. 12 PC-7 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Carlos Marmol (R)--Was used in the ninth inning Monday night in a non-save situation allowing one run on one hit while striking out three batters. With Kyuji Fujikawa back in the bullpen, Marmol slides down the pecking order one more notch, and should only be owned in the deepest of holds leagues at this point.Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)–Picked up the win on Thursday after recording the final two outs of the ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters. With this appearance Chapman improves to 3-1 on the season with a 2.14 ERA through his first 20 appearances. 12 PC-7 ST (5/16/13) (SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)–Was used in the eighth inning on Friday night forcing two fly ball outs to limit the damage done at the end of the game. Broxton was called upon to clean up Sean Marshall's mess, but it was too little too late, after Marshall gave up the game-winning runs. 11 PC-6 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Sean Marshall (L)--Took the loss Friday night after allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter in the eighth inning. Marshall recorded just one out in the appearance before being replaced by Jonathan Broxton, and has now allowed two earned-run over his last three appearances. 14 PC-10 ST (5/17/13)Colorado Rockies(CL) Solid Rafael Betancourt (R)–Collected his 10th save of the season Friday night after striking out the side in the ninth inning on 14 pitches. Betancourt continues to get the job done in the closer role for the Rockies, and is now 10-for-10 in save opportunities this season. 14 PC-9 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Rex Brothers (L)–Earned his sixth hold of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless seventh inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Brothers needed only 11 pitches to work through the inning, as he continues to be one of the most underrated setup men in baseball this season. 11 PC-8 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Wilton Lopez (R)–Retired the final two batters of the ninth inning Thursday night in a non-save situation needing only five pitches to get the job done. Lopez has now pitched back-to-back days and may get the day off on Friday. 5 PC-5 ST (5/16/13)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Shaky Brandon League (R)–Collected his ninth save on Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 19 pitches thrown. There was speculation that maybe his time as the team's closer was over, after Kenley Jansen was used in the role last night, but that should all be squashed after he was called upon Wednesday. 19 PC-12 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Kenley Jansen (R)–Earned his eighth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief allowing two hits while striking out one batter. It was assumed Jansen was the team's new closer after being used in the role on Tuesday, but that clearly wasn't the case, which is why you should never assume in fantasy baseball. 22 PC-13 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Ronald Belisario (R)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Friday night allowing two runs (none earned) on two hits while striking out one batter. Belisario was able to clean up the mess left by Paco Rodriguez, but it wasn't enough to allow the Dodgers to stay within striking distance, which led to a loss in the end. 21 PC-14 ST (5/17/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Shaky Steve Cishek (R)–Took the loss on Thursday after being used in a non-save situation surrendering three runs on three hits and two walks in 1.2 innings of work. Cishek has been terrible in non-save situations this season, but has only one blown-save on the year, so it unlikely he is in danger of losing the closer role. 31 PC-15 ST (5/16/13) (SU) Mike Dunn (L)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Thursday retiring all three batters he faced in order. Dunn needed only 12 pitches to work through the appearance striking out two batters while forcing one fly ball out and is now sporting a 1.83 ERA on the year. 12 PC-10 ST (5/16/13) (MR) A.J. Ramos (R)--Was used to record the final out of the 10th inning on Thursday night, forcing the only batter he faced to ground out on five pitches. With Steve Cishek throwing 31 pitches on Thursday, there is a chance he will be unavailable to pitch on Friday, with Mike Dunn or Ramos being the likely candidates to fill in for Cishek if that is the case. 5 PC-3 ST (5/16/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)–Pitched a scoreless 11th inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. As  fast as John Axford has fallen, Henderson has risen and at this point, there is no chance we will see a switch in the closer role any time soon. 11 PC-8 ST (5/14/13) (MR) John Axford (R)–Pitched a scoreless sixth inning on Friday night allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Axford made it through the appearance unharmed, but continues to allow base runners at a high rate, which will hurt him in the long run as the season progresses. 15 PC-11 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Michael Gonzalez (L)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Gonzalez needed only 12 pitches to work through the inning, and has become the team's best lefty option through the first seven weeks of the season  12 PC-7 ST (5/17/13)New York Mets(CL) Shaky Bobby Parnell (R)–Earned his fifth save of the season Friday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Parnell has now pitched back-to-back days, and will likely get the day off on Saturday, so expect to see Brandon Lyon used in the role if a save situation was to arise. 15 PC-8 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Brandon Lyon (R)–Picked up his fourth hold of the season Thursday after recording the final two outs of the eighth inning. He allowed one hit in the appearance, but was able to get out of the jam by forcing two ground ball outs on seven pitches. 7 PC-4 ST (5/16/13) (MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Was used in the eighth inning Wednesday night allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out two batters. Hawkins has now given up runs in three straight appearances dating back to last week, and will need to right the ship if he wants to stay in his current role. 27 PC-15 ST (5/15/13) Injured– Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)–Earned his eighth save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one walk on 17 pitches thrown. Papelbon may not have the strikeout totals we had grown accustomed to seeing form him over the years, but he is still getting the job done, as a position riddled with failure, so consider yourself lucky if you drafted him this year. 17 PC-8 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Mike Adams (R)–Took the loss Friday night after serving up the game-winning home run to Miguel Montero in the eighth inning. With this appearance Adams falls to 1-3 on the season with a 3.00 earned-run average over 15 innings of work. 11 PC-6 ST (5/10/13) (MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)–Registered just one out in his appearance on Friday night allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter. Bastardo hasn't been pitching well as of late, allowing six base runners over his previous 1.2 innings of work, and will need to straighten up especially if Mike Adams is placed on the disabled list. 7 PC-5 ST (5/17/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out one batter. Grilli has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering his low pitch counts, he should be available if needed for Thursday's series finale. 14 PC-10 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Earned his 14th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Like his teammate Jason Grilli, Melancon has now pitched back-to-back days, but limited his pitch counts in both contests, so a third day in a row is not out of the question. 14 PC-10 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Jose Contreras (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Thursday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Contreras looked good in this one, striking out tow batters while forcing one ground ball out to get the job done and seal the victory for the Pirates. 13 PC-8 ST (5/16/13)San Diego Padres(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)–Took the loss on Friday night after allowing one run on one hit in the top of the 10th inning. With this appearance Street falls to 0-3 with a 4.67 ERA, and at this point, it may be something to worry about. 14 PC-9 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Luke Gregerson (R)–Picked up the win on Tuesday after recording the final out of the eighth inning. Gregerson has been very effective this season, posting a 1.00 ERA and would be the first pick for the Padres to take over the closer role if something was to happen to Huston Street. 6 PC-3 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Dale Thayer (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Thayer has pitched decent this season and if he continues to rack up strikeouts, he could be a solid add in deep holds leagues. 18 PC-15 ST (5/17/13)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)–Collected his 13th save of the season Thursday night after striking out the only two batters he faced in the ninth inning. Romo has allowed three runs in his previous two outings, so it was nice to see him have a clean appearance as he got back on track to hold onto the lead for the Giants. 11 PC-7 ST (5/16/13) (SU) Santiago Casilla (R)–Pitched a scoreless seventh inning Friday night despite allowing one hit and two walks in the appearance. This wasn't the best showing from Casilla, but at least he escaped unharmed to keep the Giants in the ballgame. 26 PC-13 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Javier Lopez (L)– Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday allowing one hit on 12 pitches thrown. This appearance marked the first time  in his last three outings that he pitching a full inning, and has done it just two times over his last 10 appearances, which has limited his fantasy value in holds leagues. 12 PC-7 ST (5/15/13) St. Louis Cardinals (CL) Solid Edward Mujica (R)–Collected his 12th save of the season Saturday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Mujica continues to get the job done, and has yet to be charged with a blown save through 12 save chances, making him one of the better closers to own at this point in the season. 13 PC-10 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Picked up his 12th hold of the season on Friday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter on 13 pitches thrown. Rosenthal and Edward Mujica has made for a great back end punch over the last few weeks, as he are finally starting to see why Rosenthal was so highly regarded coming up through the minors. 13 PC-7 ST (5/17/13) (MR) Fernando Salas (R)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Thursday allowing one run on two hits while striking out one batter. This appearance marked the first time he was used since last Sunday, so expect to see him available over the next few days. 25 PC-16 ST (5/16/13) Injured– Jason Motte (Elbow)Washington Nationals(CL) Elite Rafael Soriano (R)--Picked up the win on Friday night despite being charged with a blown-save after allowing two runs (non earned) on three hits in the ninth inning. Soriano didn't have his best stuff, but was able to limit the damage, which landed him and his fantasy owners a rare win. (5/17/13) (SU) Drew Storen (R)–Earned his first save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Storen had a rough outing in his last appearance on Wednesday, so it was nice to see him bounce back so quickly in a very meaningful role. 19 PC-13 ST (5/17/13) (SU) Tyler Clippard (R)–Picked up his seventh hold of the season Friday night after pitching 1.1 innings of relief allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Clippard needed 21 pitches to get through the appearance, which was his third showing this week, so a day off on Saturday may be in store. 21 PC-13 ST (5/17/13)Matthew Beck is a Fantasy Sports Columnist for Rotoinfo.com.
