Johnson has allowed only four earned-runs on the season, but the fact that he can't overpower his opponents will lead to outings like this every once and a while if he can't force ground balls. 13 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Darren O’Day (R)–Was used to record the final two outs of the eighth inning Tuesday night and did so facing the minimum amount of batters. O'Day struck out one batter while forcing one fly ball out on just seven pitches to get the job done. 7 PC-5 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Pedro Strop (R)–Was used in the ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one run on two hits and one walk. Strop had been pitching well as of late, after a rough first few weeks, so hopefully this appearance doesn't turn into a stretch of bad outings from him. 24 PC-15 ST (5/15/13) Boston Red Sox (CL) Shaky  Junichi Tazawa (R)--Took the loss on Saturday after being used in a tied ball game in the ninth inning, allowing one run on two hits. In his first meaningful appearance as the team's closer, he failed to get the job done, but should get a few more chances to prove his worth before the Red Sox go with another option. 21 PC-13 ST (5/11/13) (SU) Koji Uehara (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. This was Uehara's first appearance in a week, so expect to see him available over the next few days. 29 PC-19 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Andrew Miller (L)--Recorded the final two outs of the fifth inning Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Miller was lit up in his previous outing, so it was nice to see him back on track, and has now struck out eight batters in his last 3.1 innings of work. 7 PC-4 ST (5/14/13) Injured-- Andrew Bailey (Biceps), Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)–Recorded his 12th save of the season Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter. This marked Reed's first save May 6, and has been used only once in between these appearances, so expect the White Sox to use him often over the next few days. 10 PC-8 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Matt Thornton (L)–Earned his 10th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief retiring all four batters he faced in order. Thornton had it going in this contest, throwing first pitch strikes to three of the four batters he faced, striking out one batter while forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to help in the White Sox victory. 13 PC-10 ST (SU) Jesse Crain (R)–Picked up his 10th hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. As the season progresses, it appears Crain is emerging as the team's top setup man, and if he is not owned in holds leagues, now may be the time to pick him up. 14 PC-9 ST (5/14/13) Cleveland Indians (CL) Solid Chris Perez (R)–Collected is sixth save of the season Saturday despite allowing one run (unearned) on two hits in the ninth inning. Perez had escaped a few rough innings over the last week, and if his struggles continue, he is bound to have a blowup or two along the way. 22 PC-15 ST (5/11/13) (SU) Joe Smith (R)--Picked up the win on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning in a tied game allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. Smith has now pitched back-to-back days, but with a doubleheader in store for Monday, expect Smith to be used at some point. 11 PC-7 ST (5/12/13) (MR) Bryan Shaw (R)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Tuesday night allowing two runs on three hits and one walk. This was Shaw's worst outing of the season, but despite surrendering three runs, he is still sitting on a sub-2.00 ERA on the year. 25 PC-14 ST (5/14/13) Injured--Vinny Pestano (Elbow)Detroit Tigers(CL) Solid Jose Valverde (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Two nights after blowing his first  save of the season, Valverde looked great and appears to have put that outing behind him, so fantasy owners need not worry. 10 PC-8 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Joaquin Benoit (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Tuesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Benoit struck out tow batters in the appearance, while forcing one fly ball out needing only 14 pitches to get out of the inning cleanly. 14 PC-8 ST (5/14/13) (MR)  Al Alburquerque (R)--Took the loss Wednesday after allowing one run on one walk in the eighth inning. With Joaquin Benoit unavailable, the Tigers turned to Alburquerque to make sure the game stayed tied, but that did't happen, as he now falls to 0-1 on the season. 12 PC-5 ST (5/15/13) Injured– Octavio Dotel (Shoulder) Houston Astros (CL) Shaky Jose Veras (R)–Earned his fifth save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning. Veras made it interesting by allowing two walks, but worked out of the jam by forcing one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to nail down the victory for the Astros. 26 PC-16 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Wesley Wright (L)–Recorded the first two outs of the eighth inning Wednesday retiring both batters he faced in order. Wright struck out one batter while forcing one fly ball out and ha snow pitched back-to-back days. 112 PC-7 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Hector Ambriz (R)--Picked up the win Wednesday after recording the final out of the eighth inning needing only five pitches to get the job done. Wesley Wright started the inning, but was lifted due to matchups, so Ambriz ended up getting the final out of the eighth inning to earn his first win of the season. 5 PC-3 ST (5/15/13) Injured–Josh Fields  (Forearm) Kansas City Royals (CL) Solid Greg Holland (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Holland has put to rest any questions about him losing his job, so those who are still thinking Kelvin Herrera is going to take the job at some point h this season, should think again. 15 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Kelvin Herrera (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Wednesday night allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one batter. Herrera allowed yet another home run, bringing his season total up to seven home runs allowed, which is more than some starting pitchers. 44 PC-23 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Aaron Crow (R)–Earned his seventh hold of the season on Wednesday night after recording the final out of the sixth inning. Crow walked one batter in the appearance, but then forced the next batter to ground out to get out of the jam. 9 PC-3 ST (5/15/13) Los Angeles Angels (CL) Shaky Ernesto Frieri (R)–Was used to record the final out of the ninth inning Tuesday night needing only one pitch to force a fly ball out. Frieri has pitched well this season, but with the return of Ryan Madson looming, he could be in danger of losing his closer role in the neat future, but it is hard to believe that the team will want to fix something that isn't broken. 1 PC-1 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Scott Downs (L)–Recorded the first two outs of the ninth inning in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 16 pitches thrown. Despite sporting a 2.70 ERA this season, Downs hasn't pitched that well in 2013, and once his luck runs out his performances will show that. 16 PC-11 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Mark Lowe (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Wednesday allowing four runs on four hits and one walk. This was a terrible showing form Lowe, who has just a handful of appearances this season, so hopefully he will be able to forget about this one quick before his next appearance. 36 PC-19 ST (5/15/13) Injured:  Ryan Madson (Elbow), Sean Burnett  (Forearm)Minnesota Twins(CL) Solid Glen Perkins (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter. This outing marked his first time on the mound in a week, so with the day off on Thursday expect Perkins to be available for the entire weekend series with the Red Sox. 16 PC-14 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Jared Burton (R)–Picked up his eighth hold of the season Monday night after working out of a jam in the eighth inning. Burton allowed two hits and one walk in the inning, but was able to force one ground ball out, one fly ball out and one strikeout to get the job done. 15 PC-8 ST (5/13/13) (MR) Casey Fien (R)--Was used to record the first out of the eighth inning Tuesday night and needed eight pitches to do so. Fien made it interesting, allowing one hit and one walk, needing Brian Duensing to come in and clean up his mess, allowing him to escape the game unharmed. 8 PC-4 ST (5/14/13)New York Yankees(CL) Elite Mariano Rivera (R)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. With this appearance Rivera is now 16-for-16 in save opportunities this season, as he continues to dominate on his farewell tour. 11 PC-7 ST (5/14/13) (SU) David Robertson (R)–Picked up his ninth hold of the season Tuesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Robertson has been well as of late, and has now recorded four strikeouts over his last three appearances combined. 19 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Boone Logan (R)–Recorded the final out of the seventh inning in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader forcing the only batter he faced to strikeout. Considering the Yankees loaded schedule this week, expect to see Logan used more than we have seen over the course of the season. 6 PC-3 ST (5/13/13)Oakland Athletics(CL) Solid Grant Balfour (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out three batters. With just six saves on the season, Balfour ranks near the bottom of the saves category, which makes for a good time to try and buy-low on him, considering the A's will have to start playing better at some point. 24 PC-16 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Ryan Cook (R)–Was charged with a blown-save Tuesday night after surrendering one run on two hits in the eighth inning. Cook has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the day off on Wednesday, so owner sin holds leagues will need to plan accordingly. 13 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Sean Doolittle (L)–Earned his sixth hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless seventh inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Doolittle has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the day off on Wednesday considering how much he has been used over the last week. 18 PC-13 ST (5/14/13)Seattle Mariners(CL) Solid Tom Wilhelmsen (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Wilhelmsen has been as close to perfect as he could be this season, allowing just one earned-run through his first 17 .0 innings of work, while converting all 10 of his save opportunities. 10 PC-7 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Carter Capps (R)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Tuesday night retiring all four batters he faced in order. Capps was dominate in this appearance, striking out three batters while forcing one ground ball out on just 13 pitches thrown. 13 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Charlie Furbush (L)–Took the loss on Tuesday night after allowing two runs on one hit and three walks. This was a typical outing for Furbush, who has yet to show consistency, and has now allowed three earned-runs over his last two appearances, but will continue to get work since he is the primary lefty in the bullpen. 27 PC-10 ST (5/14/13)Injured–Stephen Pryor (back)Tampa Bay Rays(CL) Solid Fernando Rodney (R)–Earned his seventh save of the season Tuesday night after striking out the side on 16 pitches. For all you Rodney owners that were worried about him, myself being one, it looks like he has turned the corner from his shaky start and is now ready to dominate the ninth inning, considering he has seven strikeouts in his last three innings pitched. 16 PC-11 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Joel Peralta (R)–Picked up his ninth hold of the season Tuesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. With this appearance Peralta is now sitting on a 2.08 ERA as he continues to be very productive for his fantasy owners in holds leagues. 14 PC-10 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Jake McGee (L)–Picked up his seventh hold of the season Tuesday night after recording the first two outs of the seventh inning. McGee allowed two walks in the outing, but Josh Lueke was able to clean up his mess and escape the inning without allowing any runs to go up on the board. 27 PC-13 ST (5/14/13) Texas Rangers (CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)–Collected his 12th save of the season Tuesday night despite allowing one run on one hit and three walks in the 10th inning, This clearly wan't a good showing from Nathan, but the fact he battled through it (31 pitches) is the reason why he is considered an elite closer in baseball. 31 PC-14 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)–Recorded the final two outs of the ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation needing only six pitches to seal the victory. After the game manager Ron Washington said he will not use Scheppers in outings greater than one inning, so he can be used on back-to-back days, so that should actually help out his already growing fantasy value in holds leagues. 6 PC-5 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Jason Frasor (R)–Recorded the final two outs of the seventh inning Tuesday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Frasor has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get get the day off on  Wednesday, for those in Rangers-Only fantasy leagues. 16 PC-11 ST (5/14/13) Injured– Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)–Collected his 10th save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 10 pitches thrown. Wit this appearance Janssen is 10-for-10 in save chances this season, and even with Sergio Santos on his way back, he should not have to worry about losing the closer role. 10 PC-7 ST (5/11/13) (SU) Steve Delabar (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Delabar has just one perfect outing in his last five appearances, but has allowed just one run over that time frame. 18 PC-10 ST (5/12/13) (MR) Esmil Rogers (R)–Recorded the final out of the ninth inning Tuesday needing only two pitches to force a fly ball out. After a blown-save on Sunday, Bell has now recorded saves in back-to-back games, so any doubt that he would be out as the teams closer should now be silenced. 15 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) (SU) David Hernandez (R)–Earned his eighth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. With Bell rolling in the ninth inning, it is tough to say Hernandez will get save chances down the road, but he is worth stashing considering Bell's track record. 14 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Collected his fourth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless sixth inning allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Reynolds allowed his first runs of the season in Sunday's outing, but got right back on track in this one, as it doesn't look there are any lingering effects from his last showing. 18 PC-11 ST (5/15/13) Injured: J.J. Putz (Elbow) Atlanta Braves (CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)–Recorded his 11th save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing only one hit on 15 pitches thrown. Kimbrel had been struggling as of late, so it was nice to see a clean outing from him to try and right the ship. 15 PC-9 ST (5/9/13) (SU) Eric O’Flaherty (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Monday night in a non-save situation allowing just one hit on 13 pitches thrown. This marked the first time this season O'Flaherty was used in a situation like this, considering the team had a nine-run cushion, so most likely this appearance counted as his throwing session for the day. 13 PC-11 ST (5/13/13) (MR) Jordan Walden (R)–Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. Walden has now allowed five runs over his last three appearances (1.1 innings), and has been a disappointment for both the Braves and fantasy owners in holds leagues thus far in 2013. 22 PC-13 ST (5/11/13) Injured– Jonny Venters (Elbow) Chicago Cubs (CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Recorded the final two out of the ninth inning Wednesday night allowing one run (unearned) on two hits. The run allowed was scored after an error allowed a base runner, so Gregg's scoreless innings streak may be over, but has still yet to allow an earned-run. 17 PC-10 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Kyuji Fujikawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Monday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Fujikawa has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the day off on Tuesday considering his recent return from the disabled list, so plan accordingly. 16 PC-10 ST (5/13/13) (MR) Carlos Marmol (R)--Was used in the ninth inning Monday night in a non-save situation allowing one run on one hit while striking out three batters. With Kyuji Fujikawa back in the bullpen, Marmol slides down the pecking order one more notch, and should only be owned in the deepest of holds leagues at this point.Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. Chapman has now struck out six batters over his last three innings of work, and has 28 swing-and-misses over 18.0 innings pitched this season. 26 PC-16 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)–Was used in the eighth inning on Sunday allowing one run (unearned) on two hits while striking out one batter. After a few shaky appearances, Broxton has now put together five straight games without allowing an earned-run, so hopefully he has turned the corner. 18 PC-13 ST (5/12/13) (MR) Sean Marshall (L)--Picked up his fifth hold of the season Wednesday after recording the final out of the  seventh inning. Marshall struck out the only batter he faced in the appearance, needing only six pitches to get the job done. 6 PC-3 ST (5/15/13)Colorado Rockies(CL) Solid Rafael Betancourt (R)–Was used in a non-save situation on Tuesday night allowing one run on three hits while striking out two batters. Betancourt has allowed just three earned-runs over this season, which is really remarkable considering Coors Field is considered one of the best hitter ballparks in all of baseball. 24 PC-17 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Rex Brothers (L)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Sunday allowing one hit while striking out one batter. With this appearance Brothers lowered his earned-run average to 0.52 on the season, as he continues to emerge as one of the top setup men in the National League. 12 PC-10 ST (5/12/13) (MR) Wilton Lopez (R)–Recorded the final two outs of the seventh inning on Wednesday needing only five pitches to get the job done. Lopez have been very inconsistent this season, and even in the deepest of holds leagues it is hard to imagine that he should be owned at this point in the season. 5 PC-4 ST (5/15/13)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Shaky Brandon League (R)–Collected his ninth save on Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 19 pitches thrown. There was speculation that maybe his time as the team's closer was over, after Kenley Jansen was used in the role last night, but that should all be squashed after he was called upon Wednesday. 19 PC-12 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Kenley Jansen (R)–Earned his eighth hold of the season Wednesday after pitching 1.1 innings of relief allowing two hits while striking out one batter. It was assumed Jansen was the team's new closer after being used in the role on Tuesday, but that clearly wasn't the case, which is why you should never assume in fantasy baseball. 22 PC-13 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Ronald Belisario (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Monday night allowing one hit while striking out one batter. Belisario bounced back nicely from a horrible outing on Friday night, but is still too inconsistent to consider, even in the deepest of holds leagues. 15 PC-9 ST (5/13/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Shaky Steve Cishek (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Sunday in a non-save situation allowing two walks while striking out one batter. Cishek has been pitching well as of late, and has now put together four straight solid outings, appearing to have a solid grasp on the closer role for now. 19 PC-10 ST (5/12/13) (SU) Mike Dunn (L)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday night in a non-save situation allowing one walk while striking out two batters. With this appearance Dunn is now sporting a 1.93 ERA, and is having arguably the best season of his young career, despite all the mediocre pitchers that surround him. 19 PC-13 ST (5/15/13) (MR) A.J. Ramos (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on just pitches pitches thrown. Ramos bounced back nicely from a poor showing Saturday, and should be considered a dark horse candidate to close if Steve Cishek was to falter. 9 PC-7 ST (5/14/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)–Pitched a scoreless 11th inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. As  fast as John Axford has fallen, Henderson has risen and at this point, there is no chance we will see a switch in the closer role any time soon. 11 PC-8 ST (5/14/13) (MR) John Axford (R)–Recorded the final out of the eighth inning on Wednesday night needing only five pitches to get the job done. Axford has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering his pitch count in this one, expect him to be available if needed on Thursday. 5 PC-5 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Michael Gonzalez (L)–Was used to face one batter in Wednesday night's game against the Pirates, which resulted in a fielding error by Rickie Weeks. Gonzalez only threw three pitches, so expect him to be available for Thursday's game if another situation like this arises. 3 PC-1 ST (5/15/13)New York Mets(CL) Shaky Bobby Parnell (R)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday allowing two hits and one walk while striking out one batter. Parnell needed 30 pitches to get through the appearance, so there is a chance he will not be available to pitch on Monday. 30 PC-21 ST (5/12/13) (SU) Brandon Lyon (R)–Pitched a scoreless seventh inning Tuesday night allowing one walk while striking out one batter. After a brilliant first few weeks of the season, Lyon has since fallen off the wagon, allowing five runs over his last 10 appearances, and is not worth owning in holds leagues. 17 PC-8 ST (5/14/13) (MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Was used in the eighth inning Wednesday night allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out two batters. Hawkins has now given up runs in three straight appearances dating back to last week, and will need to right the ship if he wants to stay in his current role. 27 PC-15 ST (5/15/13) Injured– Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on only six pitches thrown. Despite only have seven saves, Papelbon has looked great this season and is someone to target in trades as the season moves forward, since it is hard to imagine he won't end up with aroudn 30 saves by season's end. 6 PC-5 ST (5/14/13) (SU) Mike Adams (R)–Took the loss Friday night after serving up the game-winning home run to Miguel Montero in the eighth inning. With this appearance Adams falls to 1-3 on the season with a 3.00 earned-run average over 15 innings of work. 11 PC-6 ST (5/10/13) (MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)–Earned his sixth hold of the season Tuesday after pitching 0.2 scoreless innings. It wasn't the cleanest of outings, after allowing two hits and one walk, but he escaped unharmed after striking out one and forcing a ground ball out, so fantasy owners can't be too mad about his performance. 19 PC-11 ST (5/14/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)–Recorded his 16th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out one batter. Grilli has now pitched back-to-back days, but considering his low pitch counts, he should be available if needed for Thursday's series finale. 14 PC-10 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Mark Melancon (R)--Earned his 14th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Like his teammate Jason Grilli, Melancon has now pitched back-to-back days, but limited his pitch counts in both contests, so a third day in a row is not out of the question. 14 PC-10 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Jose Contreras (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Monday night retiring all three batters he faced in order on nine pitches thrown. Contreras was roughed up his his previous outing, failing to make it through a full inning, but had it going tonight forcing three ground ball outs, which are his specialty. 9 PC-7 ST (5/13/13)San Diego Padres(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)–Recorded the final two outs of the ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation after Anthony Bass failed to get the job done.  Street has now pitched back-to-back days, but his pitch counts have been low, so expect him to be available for Thursday's game. 10 PC-6 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Luke Gregerson (R)–Picked up the win on Tuesday after recording the final out of the eighth inning. Gregerson has been very effective this season, posting a 1.00 ERA and would be the first pick for the Padres to take over the closer role if something was to happen to Huston Street. 6 PC-3 ST (5/14/13) (MR) Dale Thayer (R)–Earned his seventh hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless sixth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Thayer struck out one batter while forcing two fly ball outs on 12 pitches to get the job done. 12 PC-8 ST (5/15/13)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)–Was used in the ninth inning Sunday in a non-save situation allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter. Romo has now allowed three runs over his last two appearances, marking the first time this season he has allowed runs in back-to-back appearances. 17 PC-11 ST (5/12/13) (SU) Santiago Casilla (R)–Earned his sixth hold of the season Wednesday after retiring the final two batters of the eighth inning. Casilla struck out both batters on just eight pitches thrown, as he continues to be a solid contributor in leagues that count holds as a category. 8 PC-5 ST (5/8/13) (MR) Javier Lopez (L)– Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday allowing one hit on 12 pitches thrown. This appearance marked the first time  in his last three outings that he pitching a full inning, and has done it just two times over his last 10 appearances, which has limited his fantasy value in holds leagues. 12 PC-7 ST (5/15/13) St. Louis Cardinals (CL) Solid Edward Mujica (R)–Collected his 11th save of the season Wednesday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. Mujica has been rolling since taking over the team's closing duties, and if his success continues, the team will have to make a tough decision next season when Jason Motte is back in the picture.  12 PC-8 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Picked up his 11th hold of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 eighth inning striking out one batter. After early season struggles, Rosenthal has finally settled down into the setup role,and hasn't allowed an earned run in his last eight appearances. 9 PC-5 ST (5/15/13) (MR) Fernando Salas (R)--Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Sunday retiring all four batters he faced in a non-save situation. This was the first appearance by Salas since May 4, so expect to see him used more in the upcoming days. 22 PC-16 ST (5/12/13) Injured– Jason Motte (Elbow)Washington Nationals(CL) Elite Rafael Soriano (R)–Took the loss on Sunday after allowing one run (unearned) on two hits while striking out one batter in the ninth inning. With this appearance Sorinao falls to 0-1 on the season  with one blown-save in 13 chances, but has pitched great as of late since getting over an early season slump. 22 PC-15 ST (5/12/13) (SU) Drew Storen (R)–Was used in the eighth inning Wednesday night allowing one run on one hit and two walks. Storen needed 22 pitches to get through the appearance, forcing two ground ball outs and one fly ball out to eventually get out of the inning. 22 PC-9 ST (5/15/13) (SU) Tyler Clippard (R)–Pitched a scoreless seventh inning on Wednesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order.
