(SU) Darren OâDay (R)âPicked up his fifth hold of the season Wednesday after recording the first two outs of the eighth inning, both via the strikeout. Boston Red Sox
(CL) Shaky  Junichi Tazawa (R)--Took the loss on Saturday after being used in a tied ball game in the ninth inning, allowing one run on two hits. In his first meaningful appearance as the team's closer, he failed to get the job done, but should get a few more chances to prove his worth before the Red Sox go with another option. 21 PC-13 ST (5/11/13)
(SU) Koji Uehara (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning Thursday striking out all three batters he faced in the inning. He needed only 14 pitches to work through the appearance, in was his most dominant outing of the season. 14 PC-10 ST (5/9/13)
(MR) Andrew Miller (L)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday night striking out the sire on just 14 pitches. Injured-- Andrew Bailey (Biceps), Joel Hanrahan (Forearm)Chicago White Sox(CL) Solid Addison Reed (R)âWas used in a non-save situation Wednesday night allowing one run on three hits in the ninth inning. (SU) Matt Thornton (L)âPitched a scoreless seventh inning Saturday allowing one hit on 11 pitches thrown. This appearance was Thornton's first since Wednesday night so expect him to be available if needed on Sunday. 11 PC-6 ST (5/11/13)

(SU) Joe Smith (R)--Picked up his fourth hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk on 19 pitches. Smith has filled in nicely for Vinny Pestano in the setup role, but once he returns from injury, Smith will lose any fantasy value he currently has in holds leagues. 19 PC-7 ST (5/11/13)
(MR) Bryan Shaw (R)âPitched 0.2 innings of relief on Friday allowing two hits while striking out one batter. Shaw escaped the appearance unharmed, but has allowed six base runners over his last three appearances, and if that pace continues, his luck will eventually run out. 13 PC-10 ST (5/10/13)

(SU) Joaquin Benoit (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning on Friday night in a non-save situation allowing one hit on 12 pitches thrown. (MR)  Al Alburquerque (R)--Pitched one inning of relief on Saturday allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out two batters. No one has questioned his arsenal, as he ma be the most talented pitcher int eh Tigers bullpen, but his lack of control has been his major issue early in his career, and won't have a more meaningful role until he puts it all together.  35 PC-19 ST (5/11/13)
Injuredâ Octavio Dotel (Shoulder)
Houston Astros

(SU) Kelvin Herrera (R)âPitched a scoreless ninth inning Saturday in a non-save situation retiring all three batters he faced in order. Herrera has been shaky at best this season, but this outing proves he still has some confidence left to remain in a meaningful rolw int he Royals bullpen. 10 PC-8 ST (5/11/13)
(MR) Aaron Crow (R)âEarned his sixth hold of the season Thursday after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning striking out two batters. Crow has been very effective this season, allowing just one run through his first 9.1 innings, and could see time in the setup role if Kelvin Herrera remains inconsistent. 11 PC-8 ST (5/9/13)
Los Angeles Angels
(CL) Shaky Ernesto Frieri (R)âCollected his seventh save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. (SU) Ryan Cook (R)âPicked up his fifth hold of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing two hits and one walk on 29 pitches. This wasn't the best outing we have seen from Cook this season, but he was able to work out of a bases loaded jam by striking out the side to end the threat. 29 PC-18 ST (5/11/13)
(MR) Sean Doolittle (L)âEarned his fifth hold of the season Saturday after recording the final two outs of the seventh inning. (SU) Joel Peralta (R)âPicked up his seventh hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk on 10 pitches thrown. Texas Rangers
(CL) Elite Joe Nathan (R)âCollected his 11th save of the season Saturday despite allowing one run on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. (SU) Tanner Scheppers (R)âPicked up his eighth hold of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning retiring all three batters he faced in order. (MR) Jason Frasor (R)âPitched one inning of relief on Saturday allowing one run on one hit while striking out one batter. Frasor has now given up runs in back-to-back games, bringing his total to four runs allowed this season, which isn't that great considering he has only pitched 10 innings on the year. 12 PC-8 ST (5/11/13)
Injuredâ Joakim Soria (Elbow)Toronto Blue Jays(CL) Solid Casey Janssen (R)âCollected his 10th save of the season Saturday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on 10 pitches thrown. Wit this appearance Janssen is 10-for-10 in save chances this season, and even with Sergio Santos on his way back, he should not have to worry about losing the closer role. 10 PC-7 ST (5/11/13)
(SU) Steve Delabar (R)âWas charged with a blown-save Thursday after allowing one run on two hits in the seventh inning. Delabar served up a solo-home run to Yunel Escobar, which tied the game four runs a piece, eventually leading to a win in the bottom of the 10th inning for the Rays. 21 PC-12 ST (5/9/13)

National League Bullpen ReportArizona Diamondbacks(CL) Shaky Heath Bell (R)âRecorded his fourth save of the season Thursday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit on only seven pitches thrown. Bell has now earned a save three consecutive days, so he should not be expected to pitch on Friday, leaving either David Hernandez or Matt Reynolds the likely candidates to be used as the team's closer. 7 PC-5 ST (5/9/13)
(SU) David Hernandez (R)âRecorded his first save of the season Friday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning. With Heath Bell unavailable, Hernandez stepped in and got the job done for the Diamondbacks, and could see more saves down the road, considering the team announced the two pitchers are in a timeshare. 14 PC-11 ST (5/10/13)
(MR) Matt Reynolds (L)--Pitched 0.2 innings of relief Saturday night allowing two hits while striking out two batters. With this appearance Reynolds increased his scoreless innings streak to 17.2 innings to stat the season, and has become someone to pick up in holds leagues. 17 PC-12 ST (5/11/13)

Atlanta Braves
(CL) Elite Craig Kimbrel (R)âRecorded his 11th save of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing only one hit on 15 pitches thrown. Kimbrel had been struggling as of late, so it was nice to see a clean outing from him to try and right the ship. 15 PC-9 ST (5/9/13)
(SU) Eric OâFlaherty (R)âEarned his 12th hold of the season Thursday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. (MR) Jordan Walden (R)âPitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. Injuredâ Jonny Venters (Elbow)
Chicago Cubs
(CL) Shaky Kevin Gregg (R)--Pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday in a non-save situation allowing one walk while striking out two batters. Before the game Cubs management officially labeled Gregg the team's closer moving forward, so even though Kyuji Fujikawa is set to return this weekend, it is his job to lose. 25 PC-15 ST (5/8/13)
(SU) Kyuji Fujikawa (R)--Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Friday in his return from the disabled list, allowing one hit while striking out one batter. The Cubs are going to continue rolling with Kevin Gregg in the ninth inning for the time being, but if he had a few bad outings expect to see Fujikawa back in the closer role. 12 PC-9 ST (5/10/13)
(MR) Carlos Marmol (R)--Earned his third hold of the season Tuesday night after pitching 1.1 innings of scoreless relief It wouldn't be a Marmol outing without allowing base runners, allowing three in this performance, but worked out of the jam by forcing one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to get the job done. 25 PC-15 ST (5/7/13)Cincinnati Reds(CL) Elite Aroldis Chapman (L)âCollected his eighth save of the season Friday despite allowing one run on one hit in the ninth inning. (SU) Jonathan Broxton (R)âPicked up his fifth hold of the season Friday after pitching a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Broxton has really started to settle down over his last four appearances, allowing zero hits and one walk over that stretch. 13 PC-6 ST (5/10/13)
(MR) Sean Marshall (L)--Failed to record in out in his appearance on Wednesday allowing one run on one hit in the eighth inning. This was the first time Marshall pitched back-to-back days this season, but with a day off on Thursday, he will be reado to go next time the Reds take the field. 4 PC-3 ST (5/8/13)Colorado Rockies(CL) Solid Rafael Betancourt (R)âTook the loss Wednesday night after surrendering one run on two hits and two walks in the ninth inning. (SU) Rex Brothers (L)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday night retiring all three batters he faced in order. Brothers has now pitched back-to-back nights, so don;t expect to see him take the field on Thursday. 11 PC-6 ST (5/8/13)
(MR) Wilton Lopez (R)âPitched 1.1 innings of relief on Saturday allowing two hits while striking out two batters. Lopez has now pitched at least `1.1 innings in three straight appearances, as it appears the Rockies are stretching him out to be used in a long relef role. 29 PC-18 ST (5/11/13)Los Angeles Dodgers(CL) Shaky Brandon League (R)âTook the loss on Tuesday night after surrendering two runs on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. League has struggled for most of the season, but has taken the loss in back-to-back appearances, and if he doesn't right the ship soon expect to see Kenley Jansen take over the ninth inning. 27 PC-18 ST (5/7/13)
(SU) Kenley Jansen (R)âTook the loss on Wednesday night after serving up the game-winning home run in the eighth inning. The Dodgers announced Wednesday that they will continue using Brandon League as there closer, so Jansen owners will have to wait for a few more League meltdowns before he gets a bump in fantasy value. 20 PC-14 ST (5/8/13)
(MR) Ronald Belisario (R)âTook the loss on Friday night after surrendering two runs on three his and one walk in the seventh inning. Belisario has now allowed for runs over his last for appearances, and is in real danger of being passed by one of the other members of the Dodgers bullpen in the pecking order. 23 PC-15 ST (5/10/13)Miami Marlins(CL) Shaky Steve Cishek (R)âRecorded his fifth save of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only 14 pitches to get the job done. Cishek was great in this one, striking out two batters while forcing one ground ball out, but needs to show more consistency if he wants to keep the job long term. 14 PC-8 ST (5/10/13)
(SU) Mike Dunn (L)âPicked up his sixth hold of the season Friday night after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning striking out one batter. Dunn has been great all season in the setup role, and is considered to be next in line if Steve Cishek was to falter. 19 PC-14 ST (5/10/13)
(MR) Jon Rauch (R)âPitched 1.1 innings of relief on Saturday night allowing one hit on 16 pitches thrown. Rauch hasn't been used in a meaningful role in a while now, so it appears the team is losing trust in him which has hurt his fantasy value in holds leagues. 16 PC-13 ST (5/11/13)Milwaukee Brewers(CL) Solid Jim Henderson (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning Saturday retiring all three batters he faced in order on 12 pitches thrown. Henderson struck out two batters while forcing one ground ball out in what was his first appearance since Tuesday, so expect him to be available for the series finale on Sunday. 12 PC-7 ST (5/11/13)
(MR) John Axford (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning Friday allowing one hit and two walks while striking out one batter. Axford got himself in a real jam, allowing three base runners, but somehow escaped without allowing any runs, in another lousy outing from this former shutdown closer. 23 PC-13 ST (5/10/13)
(MR) Michael Gonzalez (L)âPitched 0.2 innings of relief on Saturday allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one batter. Gonzalez has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely be given the day off on Sunday. 30 PC-15 ST (5/11/13)New York Mets(CL) Shaky Bobby Parnell (R)âPicked up the win Thursday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning allowing one hit while striking out one batter. This was Parnell's second win in his last two appearances, bringing his record to 4-0 on the season, so despite his lack of saves, at least he is still helping out in other ways. 18 PC-14 ST (5/9/13)
(SU) Brandon Lyon (R)âPitched 1.1 innings of relief Thursday allowing one hit on just 11 pitches thrown. Lyon was charged with a blown-save in the outing, despite pitching well, so don't look too much into the scoring decision. 11 PC-9 ST (5/9/13)
(MR) LaTroy Hawkins (R)--Pitched two innings of relief on Saturday allowing one run on four hits while striking out one batter. Hawkins needed 36 pitches to get through the appearance, so it is unlikely he will pitch on Sunday. 36 PC-26 ST (5/11/13)
Injuredâ Frank Francisco (Elbow)Philadelphia Phillies(CL) Elite Jonathan Papelbon (R)âRecorded his eighth save of the season Saturday after pitching 1.2 innings of relief, allowing two hits while striking out three batters. This was a long appearance for Papelbon, who rarely works over one inning, but he was able to get the job done, while limiting his pitch count to keep him self available for Sunday's series finale. 29 PC-18 ST (5/11/13)
(SU) Mike Adams (R)âTook the loss Friday night after serving up the game-winning home run to Miguel Montero in the eighth inning. With this appearance Adams falls to 1-3 on the season with a 3.00 earned-run average over 15 innings of work. 11 PC-6 ST (5/10/13)
(MR) Antonio Bastardo (L)âEarned his fifth hold of the season Saturday despite allowing one run on one hit and one walk in the eighth inning. Bastardo recorded only one out in the appearance before being yanked for closer Jonathan Papelbon, and has now given up runs in two of his last three outings. 10 PC-6 ST (5/11/13)Pittsburgh Pirates(CL) Elite Jason Grilli (R)âRecorded his 14th save of the season Friday night after retiring the only batter he faced in the ninth inning on three pitches. Jose Contreras started the ninth inning, but allowed two quick runs and had the game-tying runners aboard, but Grilli was able to clean up his mess and secure the victory for the Pirates in a non-traditional way. 3 PC-2 ST (5/10/13)
(SU) Mark Melancon (R)âPitched a scoreless eighth inning Thursday allowing one walk while striking out one batter. Melancon continued his amazing run in this contest, needing only 12 pitches to work yet another scoreless inning of relief, and should now be considered one of the top setup men in all of baseball. 12 PC-8 ST (5/9/13)
(MR) Jose Contreras (R)--Was used to close out the ninth inning Friday night in a non-save situation allowing two runs on three hits and one walk. He failed to make it through the inning, needing Jason Grilli to record the final out, but it is too early for the team to give up on him considering it is only his third appearance of the season. 23 PC-10 ST (5/10/13)San Diego Padres(CL) Solid Huston Street (R)âTook the loss and was charged with a blown-save Saturday after allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in the ninth inning. Street had recorded all eight of his save chances leading up to this meltdown, but despite his success he hasn't pitched that well this season, allowing a lot of base runners, which was bound to catch up top him at some point. 21 PC-10 ST (5/11/13)
(SU) Luke Gregerson (R)âEarned his ninth hold of the season Saturday after retiring both batters he faced in order to end the eighth inning. Gregerson needed only seven pitches to get through the appearance, and should now be universally owned in leagues that count holds as a category after continuing success. 7 PC-4 ST (5/11/13)
(MR) Dale Thayer (R)âTook the loss on Friday night after allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits in the seventh inning. Thayer failed to record an out in the appearance, blowing a sold start from Edinson Volquez, so hopefully he will be able to put this behind him and contribute better next time out. 18 PC-12 ST (5/10/13)San Francisco Giants(CL) Elite Sergio Romo (R)âWas charged with his second blown-save of the season Wednesday after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk in the ninth inning. (SU) Santiago Casilla (R)âEarned his sixth hold of the season Wednesday after retiring the final two batters of the eighth inning. Casilla struck out both batters on just eight pitches thrown, as he continues to be a solid contributor in leagues that count holds as a category. 8 PC-5 ST (5/8/13)
(MR) Javier Lopez (L)â Pitched 0.2 innings of relief on Friday night needing only two pitches to close out the game. Lopez forced each batter to put the ball in play on their first pitch, leading to one of the shortest outings you will see from him this season. 2 PC-2 ST (5/10/13)
St. Louis Cardinals
(CL) Solid Edward Mujica (R)âEarned his ninth save of the season Wednesday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning needing only nine pitches to get the job done. (SU) Trevor Rosenthal (R)--Picked up his ninth hold of the season Wednesday after recording the forst out of the eighth inning.
