Fantasy Baseball Daily League Sleepers and Value Plays for May 27th

• P Jake Odrizzi Royals ($4,300, 12.3% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now ): Who is the worst hitting team in all of baseball? Yeah you guessed it, the Miami Marlins. Guess which team has scored the 2nd most runs in the month of May? Yep, the Tampa Bay Rays. That's a great combo for a Rays starting pitcher.  (Game Time 2:10 pm est)
• OF Nelson Cruz Rangers ($6,672, 6.8% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now ): Cruz has much better success when facing left-handed pitching, as he will today as Tyler Skaggs replaces Ian Kenndy in game one of the teams' double-header. Cruz is hitting .333 vs. LHP with a home run about every 12 at-bats compared to a .231 avg and a home run about every 17 at-bats vs. RHP. (Game Time 3:40 pm est)
• OF AJ Pollock Diamondbacks ($6,250, 6.3% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now): Pollock is top five among all outfielders in doubles this season and in my opinion Martin Perez is an over-rated prospect, who had his struggles last year (5.45 ERA in six starts). (Game Time 3:40 pm est)
• OF Domonic Brown Phillies ($7,708, 7.7% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now  ): Domonic Brown is hitting .281 in the month of May, after hitting just .233 in April, with six home runs and 11 extra base hits in May. Brown  hasn't hit for good avgerage vs RHP on the year, but six of his nine home runs have come off righties, and before he ran into Strasburg Sunday, he had a five game hit streak going with three of them being multi-hit games. (Game Time 7:10 pm est)
• OF Xavier Paul Reds ($5,600, 5.6% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now ): Xavier Paul is in left field and batting seventh in that potent Reds line up. Paul went 2-for-3 with a triple and a stolen base the last time he faced off against Ubaldo Jimenez. (Game Time 1:10 pm est)
• OF Jason Bay Mariners ($2,600, 7,4% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now  ): Bay has the largest sample size of any Batter vs. Pitcher matchup today and it looks mighty enticing at 17-for-53 (.321) with five home runs, six doubles, and a triple vs. Aaron "Homer" Harang and Bay is hitting .302 versus left-handed pitching this season. (Game Time 4:10 pm est)
• 1B Carlos Pena Astros ($4,300, 7.2% of cap at Fan Throwdown - Play Now): Pena is 3-for-6 with two home runs off of Jhoulys Chacin in his career. (Game Time 2:10 pm est)
• 3B Chris Johnson Braves ($6,900, 6.9% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now): The right-hand hitting Johnson is swinging a big bat versus lefties this season at a .426 clip with all three of his home runs coming off of LHP, and the game is in hitter friendly Roger Centre.  (Game Time 7:07 pm est)
• C Jason Castro Diamondbacks ($4,800, 8.0% of cap at Fan Throwdown - Play Now): Astros are off to their worst 50-game start in club history at 14-36, but they have at least one bright spot with their young catcher Jason Castro. Castro has 10 hits in his last 12 at-bats with two home runs, a double, four RBI, and four runs scored in his last three starts. Castro now has five home runs in the month of May after hitting just one in the first month of the season.  (Game Time 2:10 pm est)
• C Brayan Pena Tigers ($6,800, 6.8% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now ): Brayan Pena has a six game hit streak with four multi-hit games, including three games with three hits, and has scored a run in six of his last eight games.  (Game Time 1:05 pm est)
