Fantasy Baseball Daily League Sleepers and Value Plays for May 25th

• P Jonathan Pettibone Phillies ($235,000, 23.5% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now ): Pettibone has some stellar lineups at bay of late including the Indians and the Reds, so if he can limit those teams to two or fewer runs he should be able to do that to a Nationals team that has scored the third fewest runs, has second lowest team batting average, and has hit the fourth fewest home runs of National League teams in the month of May. (Game Time 7:15 pm est)
• OF David Murphy Rangers ($6,401, 6.4% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now): This may come as somewhat of a surprise, but Murphy has had King Felix's number over his career having 20 hits in 66 at-bats (.303), with two home runs and four doubles. (Game Time 10:10 pm est)
• OF Delmon Young Phillies ($5,650, 5.7% of cap at  Draft Day - Play Now):  This is a player I refer to has a fat Larry Herndon, and as unattractive as that sounds, Young has an attractive track record versus the struggling Dan Haren: 8-for-24 (.333) with two doubles in his career, and Young is batting fifth in tonight's lineup. • OF Juan Pierre Marlins ($3,200, 9.5% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now ): At Fan Duel you get two points for a stolen base, and Pierre has been on base 11 times in games Peavy has started and has five steals, pretty stellar rate. (Game Time 7:15 pm est)
• 1B Adam Dunn White Sox ($8,050, 8.1% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now): The left-handed hitting Dunn is 6-for-22 with a home run, double, and a triple in his career off of the righty Ricky Nolasco. (Game Time 7:15 pm est)
• SS Ruben Tejada Mets ($5,015, 5% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now  ): Tejada has struggled most of the year and is in danger of being demoted, so maybe this external pressure will help him step-up and his track record against Mike Minor is respectable: 5-for-16 (.313) with two doubles. (Game Time: after the conclusion of yesterday's suspended contest)
• 2B/3B Jedd Gyorko Padrees ($7,049, 7.0% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now): Liking this discount for a player who leads all rookies in hits (46), tied for the lead in walks (16), which is good for .75 points on Draft Street and one point at most other sites, and is second among all rookies in home runs (5) and doubles (12). (Game Time 10:10 pm est)
• C Erik Kratz Phillies ($4,000, 6.7% of cap at Fan Throwdown - Play Now): Kratz is hitting .294 for his last 17 at-bats with a home run and like his teammate Delmon Young, he gets the struggling Dan Haren. (Game Time 7:15 pm est)
