DraftKings Recommended Lineup June 15, 2013 (Late Games)Ready to turn $5 into $50k? @DraftKings is giving you the chance now, and itâs through one-day fantasy baseball games http://bit.ly/17fdiMC
All lineups are based off of a $50,000 salary cap featured at DraftKings, you best option in daily fantasy sports gaming. Lineups consist of a two pitchers, one catcher, one first baseman, one second baseman, one third baseman, one shortstop and three outfielders. All scoring and contest rules for DraftKings contests can be found here.P: Jordan Zimmermann (WAS) @ CLE--$9,600--There aren't many hotter pitchers in baseball today other than Jordan Zimmermann, and this matchup today against the Indians should be a good one. Zimmermann has not allowed an earned-run in his previous two outings, allowing just six hits and three walks in both games combined. The Indians offense has been slumping lately, plus they are prone to strikeouts, so all things considered, Zimmermann could end up being the top scoring pitcher on tonight's board.P: A.J. Griffin (OAK) vs. SEA--$7,000--Despite being hit hard over his last few outings, there is no way I am shying away from A.J. Griffin tonight, considering his low price tag. The Mariners rank 26th in runs scores, 27th in batting average, 24th in on-base percentage and 22nd in slugging percentage, which is a matchup that is worth exploiting. The only downside to using Griffin is that he is matched up against Felix Hernandez, who has had success against the Atheltics over the course of his career.C: Miguel Montero (ARI) @ SD--$3,500--After a very slow start to the 2013 season, Montero has started to show some signs of turning this around as of late, including a 4-for-6 performance just two games ago. Montero has performed well against Padres starts Jason Marquis over the course of his career, going 6-for-18 with three home runs and eight RBIs, which makes him a top play at his position tonight. He is still priced as a low end catcher, but a matchup like tonight should result in top end performance.1B: Adam Dunn (CWS) @ HOU--$3,800--As you may already know, Adam Dunn is a very hot-or-miss type of player, seeming like every at-bat is either a home run or a strikeout. Tonight Dunn faces off against a right-handed pitcher in Lucas Harrell, whom he is 1-for-3 against in his career with that one hit being a home run. During his time in the National League, Dunn had great success when playing at Minute Maid Park, so it is worth rolling the dice on him tonight, considering he has been hitting well as of late.2B: Jose Altuve (HOU) vs. CWS--$4,400--The Astros might as well change their name to the "Altuves" because Jose Altuve is the only consistent bat that is worth using on  a daily basis in daily fantasy contests. He has now recorded three multi-hit games in his last 10 contests, including a 2-for-4 night on Friday. Left handed pitchers have struggled to get Altuve out this season, as he is now hitting .328 against South Paws with two home runs in 71 plate appearances. taking into consideration the other options at second base tonight, Altuve my clear-cut favorite to turn in solid production.SS: Everth Cabrera (SD) vs. ARI--$3,700--The Padres have struck gold with the emergence of Everth Cabrera this season, and daily fantasy players should do the same tonight. Cabrera has now hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, including four multi-hit performances and two of which he logged three hits. He has had great success against Diamondbacks starter Wade Miley in his young career, going 6-for-11 with one home run and three RBIs. There really isn't a safer play at shortstop tonight outside of Cabrera, who is priced very reasonably.3B: Logan Forsythe (SD) vs. ARI--$4,100--The Padres welcomed Logan Forsythe back to the lineup on Monday when he made his season debut, and has made an immediate impact since his return. Forsythe has now recorded a hit in three of his first four games, hitting one home run and driving in five RBIs. In his career against Wade Miley, Forsythe is 2-for-3 with  a home run and two RBIs, so this looks like another great matchup that will favor the Padres and his fantasy owners tonight.OF: Mike Trout (LAA) vs. NYY--$6,300--There never is a day that Mike Trout should be passed up, except maybe if he is priced too high for some players liking. Trout has now hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, including four multi-hit games over that time frame. The majority of Trout's production has come at home in front of the Angels fans, hitting seven of his 12 home runs in Los Angeles, not to mention he has 10 additional extra-base hits outside of his long balls when playing at home. You can't really go wrong in ponying up the cash tonight and using arguably the best outfielder in the game.OF: Carlos Quentin (SD) vs. ARI--$4,000--The theme of this article should be "Stack Up Against Wade Miley," as I once again add a Padres hitter to my starting roster. Quentin is just 1-for-5 against Miley over his career, but has been swinging the bat well as of late, including two home runs in his last 10 games. He has been able to limit his strikeouts and increase his base on balls over that time frame, which is what you want to see for daily fantasy use.OF: Alejandro De Aza (CWS) @ HOU--$3,500--Despite missing Friday night's game due to an upset stomach, you will want to get Alejandro De Aza in your daily fantasy lineups if he is back Saturday. De Aza has been swinging a hot bat as of late, recording five multi-hit games over his last 10 contests. He has just four plate appearances against Astros starter Lucas Harrell, going 1-for-4 with an RBI, but the way he is swinging the bat and his low price tag, he should not be denied.Total Salary: $49,900Always pay close attention to the weather!
